Former DPCC President Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely, former MLAs Shri Raj Kumar Chauhan, Shri Naseeb Singh, Shri Neeraj Basoya and former DUSU President Shri Amit Malik joined the Bharatiya Janata Party

Former DPCC President Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely, along with former MLAs Shri Naseeb Singh and Shri Raj Kumar Chauhan, Shri Neeraj Basoya and former DUSU President Shri Amit Malik joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Saturday. During the event, Union Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri BJP National General Secretary Shri Vinod Tawde, BJP National Media Head Shri Anil Baluni, National Media co-Head Dr. Sanjay Mayukh, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva and other leaders were present.

Union Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri extended a warm welcome to all the leaders who joined BJP. He highlighted the contributions of Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely and Shri Rajkumar Chauhan, who served as Cabinet Ministers in Delhi, towards the state's development. Shri Puri mentioned that Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely opposed the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party, noting the current government's failure to fulfill promises and impede developmental progress in Delhi.

Shri Vinod Tawde welcomed all the former Congress leaders to the party and stated that it will strengthen the party. Rahul Gandhi has filed his nomination from Raebareily. Shri Tawde mentioned that it was anticipated that Priyanka Gandhi would file her nomination, given her posters were visible in the constituency. However, Rahul Gandhi filed his nomination unexpectedly. This move highlights the contrast between PM Shri Narendra Modi's "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" slogan and Congress's apparent focus on ‘Beta Bachao Beta Badhao’. Rahul Gandhi, who once claimed Wayanad as his family's constituency, is now filing his nomination in Raebareli, indicating a lack of trust in him by the country. His speeches in Wayanad in 2019 seemed tailored for votes, and now he is expected to adopt a similar approach in Raebareli.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva welcomed the leaders and emphasized that in Delhi, those who truly care for the city will stand against those who have looted it. With the liquor policy being exposed, Shri Nasseb Singh and Shri Neeraj Basoya have taken a stance against it. He noted that now, under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, we will all fight against liquor corruption in Delhi.

Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah for their efforts to combat corruption in Delhi. He reaffirmed his commitment to fight for the people of Delhi under the BJP's banner and the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He also voiced confidence in the BJP's ability to form a strong government across the country, including in Delhi.

Shri Raj Kumar Chauhan expressed his happiness at joining the party along with other leaders and collectively raising their voices against the corruption prevailing under the AAP government. He emphasized that under the leadership of the BJP, we will all fight against corruption.
