Former Kerala INC Leader Smt Padmaja Venugopal joined the Bharatiya Janata Party

Former Kerala INC Leader Smt Padmaja Venugopal has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Shri Prakash Javdekar, BJP National Secretary Shri Arvind Menon and National Media Co-Incharge Dr. Sanjay Mayukh at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday.

Bharatiya  Janata Party senior Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Prakash Javdekar highlighted there is going to be a significant transformation in Kerala, attributing it to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's impactful initiatives. Shri Javdekar extended a warm welcome to Former INC MP Smt Padmaja Venugopal as she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, underscoring the party's commitment to providing respect, responsibility, and significant roles to its members. Shri Javdekar affirmed BJP's goal to make history in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections under Hon'ble Prime Minister's guidance.

Former INC leader Smt Padmaja Venugopal expressed her gratitude towards Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the top BJP leadership. Smt Padmaja stated that She has decided to continue her political journey with the BJP, citing her admiration for the development work undertaken by the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Kerala and the entire country. Smt Padmaja cited dissatisfaction with the INC's lack of responsiveness to complaints and failure to engage with her despite multiple attempts. Smt. Venugopal noted her late father, Shri K. Karunakaran, had a similar experience. She highlighted the absence of leadership in the Congress party and her unsuccessful attempts to meet Sonia Gandhi.  Smt. Padmaja Venugopal emphasized that her decision to join the Bharatiya Janata Party was influenced by the strong leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
