Piravam/Ettumanoor/Vaikom (Kerala), 01st April, 2021: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that “Secular Tag on Communal Bag” is the “New Political Experiment” of “Modi Bashing Brigade”.

Addressing various public meetings and road shows at Piravam, Ettumanoor and Vaikomin Kerala in favour of NDA candidates for Assembly elections, Shri Naqvi said that for the BJP, “Secularism is a Constitutional Mission” and for “pseudo secularists”, it’s a “Vote Grabbing Tashan”.

Shri Naqvi said that "Indian Union Muslim League AurJamaat-e-IslamiKaJhanda” (flag of Indian Union Muslim League and Jamaat-e-Islami) and “Congress AurCommunists Ka Agenda” (agenda of the Congress and the Communists) has been exposed once again.

Shri Naqvi said that the Congress has formed a new “Secular Syndicate” with All India United Democratic Front in Assam; Indian Secular Front in West Bengal and Indian Union Muslim League in Kerala. The Congress is “expert in exploitation” of votes on communal basis and using cover of “pseudo secularism”.

Shri Naqvi said that every welfare scheme of the Modi Government has been committed to “Development with Dignity” and “Empowerment without Appeasement” ensuring benefits to all needy. The Modi Government has made every section an equal partner of progress with the commitment to “Reform, Perform and Transform”. The Modi Government is dedicated to welfare of villages, farmers, youths, poor and downtrodden.

Shri Naqvi said that during the Corona challenges, in an unprecedented measure, the Modi Government provided- Free ration was given to more than 80 crore people; about 90 thousand crore rupees were transferred directly into the bank accounts of more than 41 crore needy people; Free gas cylinders were given to about 8 crore families; Rs 1500 have been given into bank accounts of 20 crore women; Rs 19,000 crore have been given under PM KisanSammanNidhi to more than 10 crore farmers. “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” package worth Rs 20 lakh crore has been given to various sectors. More than 60 lakh migrant labourers reached back to their home states during Corona pandemic through “Shramik Special Trains”andRs 17,000 crore have been given to the states under State Disaster Relief Fund for providing assistance to migrant labourers.

Shri Naqvi said that the Modi Government has worked effectively to ensure socio-economic- educational empowerment of all needy including Minorities. While on one hand before 2014, a total of 3 crore Minority students had been given scholarships, on the other hand a total of 4.5 crore Minority students have been given different scholarships after 2014. While on one hand only 20,000 Minority people had benefitted through employment oriented skill development before 2014; on the other hand a total of 6 lakh 90,000 Minority people have been benefitted through employment oriented skill development programme after 2014. While on one hand before 2014, financial assistance for self-employment was provided to 6 lakh 94,000 people; on the other hand a total of 8 lakh 50,000 people have been given financial assistance for self-employment after 2014. A large scale development projects have been constructed across the country in deprived areas of the country under “Pradhan Mantri Jan VikasKarykram” (PMJVK). Haj quota, which was 1.36 lakh in 2014; it has been increased to record 2 lakh in 2019.

Shri Naqvi said that more than 5 lakh 50,000 artisans, craftsmen have been provided employment and employment opportunities through 28 “HunarHaat”.

Shri Naqvi said that a total of 48 lakh Minority students in Kerala have been given different scholarships since 2014. While only 5 Minority Concentrated Areas in just one district of Kerala had been included in “Pradhan Mantri Jan VikasKarykram” in 2014; now 73 blocks, towns in 13 districts of Kerala have been included in PMJVK. Since 2014, development projects worth Rs 5481 crore have been constructed in Kerala under PMJVK which include ITI; Hunar Hub; School Buildings; Common Service Centres; Hospital Building; Drinking Water Facilities; Working Women Hostels; Market Sheds.
