Former Minister of Punjab govt. & former Congress MLA  Shri Harminder Singh Jassi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party

 

Former Congress MLA and Senior Leader Shri Harminder Singh Jassi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday. During the event, Union Minister Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Punjab General Secretary Shri Dayal Singh Sodhi and BJP National Media Co-Head Shri Sanjay Mayukh were present.

 

Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar extended a warm welcome to Shri Harminder Singh Jassi upon joining the BJP Pariwar. Shri Chandrasekhar mentioned that Shri Jassi joined the BJP to support the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’ under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership. Shri Jassi has been a three-time MLA and has served twice as a minister in Punjab and he is a leader deeply connected to grassroot.

 

Shri Harminder Singh Jassi stated that he has been observing the policies of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for many years and found inspiration in how Shri Narendra Modi Ji has propelled India's advancement and earned international acclaim for the nation.  Shri Jassi expressed that drawing inspiration from such policies, he decided to join the BJP. Shri Jassi also conveyed his gratitude towards BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah for their guidance and support. Furthermore, Shri Jassi expressed that he would make every effort to work on implementing the BJP's policies and dedicate himself to serving the people.
