Former AAP leader and Former Jalandhar Cantt MLA Shri Jagbir Singh Brar joined the Bharatiya Janata Party
Former Aam Aadmi Party MLA and leader Shri Jagbir Singh Brar joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday. During the event, BJP National General Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh, senior BJP leader Shri KD Bhandari and BJP National Spokesperson Shri Shehzad Poonawalla were present.
BJP National General Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh welcomed Shri Jagbir Singh Brar into the “BJP Pariwar”, highlighting his prominent role in Punjab politics serving in both, Congress and AAP. Shri Chugh criticized the Aam Aadmi Party for incidents of harassment towards a woman at the Chief Minister’s residence and involvement in corruption. Such incidents and the way AAP behaves causes discontent among patriots and those working within the party. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has implemented numerous welfare initiatives across the nation, particularly in Punjab, such as the Sri Harmandir Singh Sahib gallery and making langar tax-free, in Kapurthala-Hoshiarpur, two medical colleges and one cancer institute have been established. Inspired by such efforts, Shri Jagbir Singh Brar has joined the BJP to further these welfare initiatives under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s leadership.
Shri Poonawalla highlighted that numerous leaders are joining the BJP, inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Mod Ji's leadership. Former Jalandhar Cantt MLA Shri Jagbir Singh Brar joined the BJP, driven by his admiration towards Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s leadership.
Shri Jagbir Singh Brar emphasized that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's policies are benefiting Punjab. There is the necessity of a Double Engine government for the state, currently there is a single-engine administration that too is not delivering effectively. Shri Brar expressed his dedication to working diligently towards Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision. Shri Brar resolved to work under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to eradicate drug addiction and unemployment in Punjab and establish a double-engine government. He conveyed his gratitude to BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, assuring of his unwavering commitment to work diligently for the advancement of Punjab and the nation.
