Lokarpan of the book “Narendra Modi- a victim of manipulations” by Shri Arun Jaitley
lokarpan (launch) program of the book titled “Narendra Modi- a victim of manipulations” authored by Shri Anwar Manippadi Ex-chairman Karnataka Minority Commission, was done by the hands of the Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Hon’ble Shri Arun Jaitley Ji in the constitution club at Delhi on 27th of February, 2014. Shri Arun Jaitley was also joined by his other Rajya Sabha colleagues Shri M Rama Jois, Shri Tarun Vijay & Shri Prakash Javadekar in the inauguration of the book.
The program started by observing a 2 minute silence remembering the people killed in the Godhara train coach burning tragedy happening exactly 12 years ago on the same date in 2002 and the ones who lost their lives in the ensuing riots.
While speaking on the occasion, Shri Arun Jaitley chronologically graphed reminding the audience the slandering exercises carried out against Shri Narendra Modi since 2002 by a section of media, people and some groups having vested interests. Simultaneously he also detailed in his speech how time and again the hollowness of these cooked up stories for maligning Shri Narendra Modi was exposed itself. In the end he expressed hope that books like these will further help in dispelling false perceptions if any still exists against Shri Narendra Modi.
The author of the book Shri Anwar Manippady in his speech talked in length about the intrigue woven around Shri Narendra Modi inspite of his tremendous efforts for the overall development and welfare of the masses in Gujarat which has eventually placed minority community living there in more prosperous situation than compared to their fellows in other states.
Shri Tarun Vijay the other speaker on this occasion highlighted from his person experiences with Shri Narendra Modi how much pain such false accusations have eventually caused to his heart as an individual.
In the end former Justic and Rajya Sabha M.P. Shri M Rama Jois in his concluding speech talked about his vision of a ruler who functions according to Dharma abhorring luxuries of life and how Shri Narendra Modi perfectly suits with this description. The book has been brought out in joint collaboration of Vijaneshwara Research and training center in polity, Gulbarga and Samruddha Sahitya publication house, Bengaluru of Karnataka. The occasion was also graced by the presence of the publisher of the book Shri Harsha.
