Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, addressed at a public gathering held in Sahibganj, Jharkhand. Due to adverse weather conditions, Shri Singh's helicopter could not land at the helipad, so he later addressed the gathering via mobile phone. He emphasized the developmental initiatives and welfare policies implemented under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, in the BJP-led government, while also condemning corruption and appeasement within the Congress alliance. During the event, Lok Sabha candidate Shri Tala Marandi, among other party leaders were present.
Union Defence Minister Shri Singh stated that Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha members are exploiting the mineral-rich state of Jharkhand. Despite the state's abundance in natural mineral resources, its people remain impoverished due to the JMM government's corruption, neglecting public welfare. He said that the former Chief Minister Hemant Soren is in jail for corruption charges and significant cash was seized from the personal assistant of a Jharkhand government minister, indicating a betrayal of the people of Jharkhand and the nation's poor citizens by the INDI Alliance. Whenever Congress and its allies gain power, corruption escalates, citing numerous scandals such as the 2G, Coal, Agustawestland and Helicopter Scam, making Congress synonymous with corruption.
Respected Shri Singh emphasized that the influx of illegal infiltrators in states like West Bengal is a consequence of the politics of appeasement. The BJP government is committed to identifying and deporting these infiltrators. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the Citizenship Amendment Act has been enacted to grant citizenship to persecuted Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and other religious minorities from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The CAA does not revoke the citizenship of any Indian, rather, it is aimed at providing citizenship to those facing religious persecution. During the Congress regime, corrupt individuals were protected to safeguard their vote bank. A decade ago, India was viewed as a weak nation, but today, under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership, the world listens to India's concerns earnestly, earning India respect globally.
Hon’ble Shri Singh accused Congress of spreading confusion among the public. Congress claims the Modi-led government will abolish reservations if it comes to power for a third term, but the BJP firmly asserts that no power can abolish reservations. The Congress party is attempting to mislead the country's minorities by proposing reservations based on religion, but the BJP government will not allow this as the Constitution of India does not permit it. BJP has never engaged in deceptive politics but has always faced the public directly. Bharatiya Janata Party delivers on its promises and even fulfills commitments it has not explicitly stated.
Respected Shri Singh stated that since 1984, the BJP government had pledged to construct the majestic Ram Mandir on the land of Ayodhya. On January 22nd, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji performed the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla and today Ram Mandir stands proudly in Ayodhya. Prabhu Shri Ram has transitioned from a tent to his Mandir, symbolizing the dawn of Ram Rajya in India. According to NITI Aayog, under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership over the past seven to eight years, approximately 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Modi government vaccinated all citizens and distributed 5 kilograms of free grains per person to safeguard them from the virus. The invaluable contribution of the tribal population to Jharkhand's development cannot be overlooked. Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee actualized the dreams of the Jharkhand state.
Respected Shri Singh stated that despite Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji completing 10 years in office, no leader from the Indi Alliance can accuse him or any of his ministers of corruption. The Modi-led government remains spotless regarding corruption. NDA government, led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and has taken decisive action against the corrupt.
Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Singh appealed to the public to ensure a resounding victory for Lok Sabha candidate Shri Tala Marandi and to make Shri Narendra Modi Ji the Prime Minister for a third term.
