Salient points of interaction of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with Bharatiya Janata Party Karyakartas from five Lok Sabha seats

 

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today interacted with Bharatiya Janata Party booth karyakartas from Betul, Machhlishahr, Mahasamund, Satna and Rajsamand Lok Sabha constituencies, through video conferencing. The interaction was fifth in the series of ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot’ program.


Prime Minister expressed happiness on realizing the dream of building the Statue of Unity. He said that the statue is a fitting tribute to a great soul of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.


Addressing the BJP functionaries, Prime Minister advised them to not lose heart over the abusive language used by the opposition parties. He exhorted them to rise above the opposition and work harder with qualities BJP is known for; the qualities of love, hard work and sacrifice. He added that just like the symbol of the party- Lotus, BJP will blossom even in the most challenging of the environments.


Shri Modi criticized the inaction of the UPA government on One Rank One Pension (OROP) while in power and said that the NDA government has made OROP a reality. He also compared the situation of just two mobile manufacturing factories in 2014 to the present situation of large number of mobile factories, creating more employment opportunities and initiating a mobile revolution.


Prime Minister exhorted the karyakartas to popularize the Government schemes and its benefits through the use of mobile technology. He asked them to share videos of the benefits accrued by ordinary citizens through government schemes. He also encouraged the booth workers to compare the achievements of the NDA government with the past governments, in terms of welfare of people through initiatives such as houses constructed, new electricity and gas connections provided, and new infrastructure built.


Appreciating the transformational work done by the BJP governments in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister said that these states are no longer in the BIMARU bracket. He also put forth three agendas for the upcoming elections; Vikas (Development), Tez Vikas (Faster Development) and Sab ke liye Vikas (Development For All).


Highlighting the importance of Digital India scheme, Prime Minister said the scheme has generated employment opportunities and has resulted in transparent and inclusive governance. He urged the booth workers to use technology to perform their tasks faster and cheaper.
