Bharatiya Janata Party’s Senior Leader and Lok Sabha MP Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad addressed a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi, on Monday. During the conference, Shri Prasad questioned the authenticity of the Hindenburg report, its timing and the facts it presented. He alleged that the main investor behind Hindenburg is George Soros, who is known for his anti-India propaganda. The ‘toolkit’ gang has no interest in India's development. The Congress Party, which governed India for 55 years and the INDI Alliance are colluding with Hindenburg in a deliberate attempt to destabilize the country's stock market.
Senior BJP MP Shri Prasad remarked that there was an expectation that after losing for the third time, the Congress party, along with its allies and closest toolkit supporters, would exercise some restraint and maintain peace. However, the problem is that the opposition hold so much animosity towards Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji that it persists even now. The opposition worked to ensure that Shri Narendra Modi Ji does not become the Prime Minister for a third time, and as he did, they aim to remove him. The opposition was not only determined to prevent Shri Narendra Modi Ji from becoming the Prime Minister for a third term but was also involved in efforts to destabilize the Indian economy following their defeat. The Congress Party and its allies have conspired together to ushering economic anarchy and instability in India.
Shri Prasad noted that Hindenburg is causing trouble again, with their report which was released on Saturday. The strategy typically involves creating a stir on Sunday to destabilize the capital market by Monday. Shri Prasad stressed the need to understand the context behind this. India's economy is expanding rapidly and several prestigious institutions have praised its growth rate. The country has attracted substantial Foreign Institutional Investment and Foreign Direct Investment. Both institutional and small investors in India are satisfied with their investment returns. India continues to be a safe, stable and promising market for shares.
Senior BJP leader Shri Prasad stated that SEBI is legally responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the market. The SEBI Act includes provisions for hearings, decision-making and appeals against those decisions. It establishes a thorough statutory framework for the management of India's capital market.
Shri Prasad noted that the Supreme Court had earlier issued an order in January, concerning a report previously released by Hindenburg. 22 out of 24 inquiries have been completed, with one more inquiry finished afterward. This was part of a legal process mandated by the Supreme Court. While Rahul Gandhi and Congress members have been advocating for a Joint Parliamentary Committee, they should have appeared before the Supreme Court and intervened in the process, but they did not. Following this, Hindenburg received a notice in July requiring them to respond to allegations of legal violations. Hindenburg published this notice on their website, with reasons for the notice also mentioned. Instead of responding to the notice, a new front has now been opened.
Senior BJP leader Shri Prasad highlighted that after SEBI sent a formal notice to Hindenburg in July, following a comprehensive inquiry conducted under the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction, Hindenburg did not provide a response. Instead, they launched a baseless attack. The response to this attack was given by SEBI’s chairperson, their family and SEBI itself. The BJP has not made any statements on this issue.
Shri Prasad highlighted that George Soros, who is known for his propaganda against India, has invested in Hindenburg. Soros has even suggested removing Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji from power. As a major investor in Hindenburg, Soros' influence is significant. In their deep-seated hatred for Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the Congress party, led by Rahul Gandhi and his associates seems to have developed hatred against India itself.
BJP MP Shri Prasad remarked that if India's stock market were to become unstable, it would cause significant concern for small investors, who number in crores today. Shri Prasad questioned the Congress party's intentions, suggesting they aim to return India to a state of control reminiscent of the era of Pt. Nehru, when the nation struggled for basic necessities under his government. It was then during Narsimha Rao's Prime Ministership that India had to open up to FDI and FII. Toolkit gang, which is working against India's development, driven by their own agendas, will ultimately fail.
Shri Prasad mentioned that the Congress party has governed India for 55 years. In their politics, there are tactics like "Toolkit Politics" and "Chit Politics." What should be done about the chits that Congress party leaders receive? For instance, they once got a chit regarding Rafale, which led to rumors spreading across India. Ultimately, they lost in the Supreme Court, had to issue an apology, and faced contempt charges. The Congress party has received a new "chit" related to the Hindenburg report, which was also investigated by the Supreme Court. Now, Congress is demanding a JPC probe.

Their actions seem aimed at stopping FII and FDI, as they believe the Indian investment climate is not secure. It is a source of great pride that India’s stock market remains stable. Previously, when a similar situation arose, the market bounced back within two days, and it improved even further following the Supreme Court's inquiry. Indian stock investors have recognized the collusion between Hindenburg and Congress, so there have been no problems today.
BJP MP remarked that we commend India's small investors for not succumbing to the orchestrated scheme against India. The Parliament session concluded, and the Hindenburg report was released on Saturday. The uproar on Sunday was aimed at destabilizing the entire capital market by Monday. After completing its investigation under the Supreme Court's oversight, SEBI issued a notice to Hindenburg in July. Rather than addressing this notice, Hindenburg presented a report that is entirely baseless. Now, the Congress party is demanding a JPC inquiry based on this unfounded report.
Shri Prasad stated that the BJP accuses the Congress party of plotting to disrupt India's economic stability. The BJP claims with full responsibility that the current Congress leadership is actively contributing to economic instability in India based on these false reports. The BJP will reveal this conspiracy by Congress to the entire nation. BJP will show that the Congress party, the INDI alliance, and Hindenburg are all collaborating in a well-orchestrated scheme. Once Rahul Gandhi had claimed that his phone was tapped by Pegasus, but he did not submit his phone for the Supreme Court's investigation. Rahul Gandhi merely makes accusations and then avoids participating in the inquiry.

This is happening because TMC supporters have been placed on the committee inquiring about the case. Doctors nationwide are protesting and female doctors in Kolkata have taken to the streets. The situation in Bengal is a horrifying instance of government terror. The West Bengal government is not conducting post-mortems properly while some doctors made inappropriate statements. The Bharatiya Janata Party demands a CBI investigation into the matter and Mamata Banerjee, who typically avoids CBI inquiries, should prioritize justice for the deceased doctor.
