●     The previous Congress governments just gave the slogan of 'Garibi Hatao' during its 70 years of rule. On the other hand, under the Bharatiya Janata Party government led by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has worked for the welfare and empowerment of all sections of the society - poor and backward classes, villagers and workers, Dalits and oppressed classes, youth and women : Giriraj Singh

 

●     Under the “social justice fortnight”, today is dedicated to Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana. It is the dream of every person to have a pucca house . Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is committed and has taken the pledge to fulfill the dream of every poor across the country : Dr K K Sharma

 

●     In the past 8 years our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has taken several initiatives and launched various programmes which are all directed towards welfare and wellbeing of poor : Dr K K Sharma

 

●     For years fake slogans were shouted in the name of social harmony, 'garibi hatao' and housing to all by the previous Congress governments. It is Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji who has fulfilled all dreams and aspirations of the poor and needy people, paving way for real empowerment of poor and backward classes : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     Under the Narendra Modi Government houses are being made for poor, tapped water is being provided under Jal Jeevan Mission,  has connectivity under Ujjwala Yojna, free toilets under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, electricity under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Gram Vidhyut Yojna, Rs 5 lakh free medical insurance to all under Aayushman Bharat Yojna : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     The importance of a pucca house can only be understood by those who don't have one. A poor man's entire life is spent on building his own house : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     In the last 70 years post -Independence the Congress governments constructed just 3.26 crore houses under various schemes like Indira Awas Yojana. On the other hand, the Narendra Modi Government has already constructed over 2.5 crore houses for the poor and needy people : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     The previous Congress governments constructed just 11.21 lakh homes per year, whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party government under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has constructed 35 lakh homes per year. Which also means that the Narendra Modi government has constructed houses with an average of 3073 houses per day : Giriraj Singh

 

●     Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has given rights of the houses being constructed under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana to women. We have also connected beneficiaries of various government schemes with self-help groups so that it could increase their income : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     Under the Pradhan Mantri Urban Housing Scheme over 58 lakh houses have been constructed with an expenditure of over Rs 1.18 lakh crore : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     Under the Narendra Modi Government over 8.20 crore women have been made members of self-help groups and are earning livelihood . We have set the target of connecting over 10 crore women with self- help groups in the next two years by 2024 : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     When the Narendra Modi Government came to power the financial support to various self help groups was to the tune of  Rs 80,000 crores, and under our government it has gone up to Rs 5 lakh crores. Most important thing is that under the UPA government the NPA regarding financial assistance to self help groups was 9.58 per cent , but under the Bharatiya Janata Party led NDA the NPA is just 2.3 per cent : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     The Narendra Modi Government is persistently working to improve the income of poor women. And for this we have started a new mission where we have set the target of increasing women's income from Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,000 : Shri Giriraj Singh

 

●     Under the leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and our party president Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji, the Bharatiya Janata Party is celebrating its 42nd Foundation Day and has decided to observe next 15 days starting April 7 as "Social Justice Fortnight" : K K Sharma

 

●     Through the Social Justice Fortnight, the Bharatiya Janata Party workers are taking to the doorsteps of all Indians the pro poor and social development schemes being implemented by the Narendra Modi Government. To create awareness about these schemes and programmes the Bharatiya Janata Party is organizing programmes at the booth, mandal and district level and are making people aware about it: K K Sharma
