PRESS STATEMENT BY THE BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI GIVEN TODAY ON THE HISTORIC VICTORY OF THE PARTY IN THE LOK SABHA BYELECTIONS IN UTTAR PRADESH AND VIDHAN SABHA BYELECTIONS IN TRIPURA

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party has secured historic wins in the Lok Sabha byelections in Azamgarh and Rampur. It is the victory of the pro-poor policies and programmes and the trust of the people in the Bharatiya Janata Party government being run under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and the Chief Minister Honourable Yogi Adityanath ji. This is yet another victory of the BJP’s policy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’.

 

I thank and congratulate the great electorate of Uttar Pradesh for this grand victory. I also congratulate Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Honourable Yogi Adityanath ji, BJP state president Shri Swatantrata Dev Singh and their entire team.

 

The byelections in Rampur and Azamgarh Lok Sabha hold great significance and are special for the BJP because in the last Lok Sabha elections these seats were won by the Samajwadi Party but now the BJP has wrested these seats from the Samajwadi Party by huge margins.

 

Before 2017 it was the rule of ‘gunda raj’, ‘mafia raj’, corruption, nepotism and terrorism in Uttar Pradesh. But now under the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party the people of Uttar Pradesh have got relief from all these evils. Today Uttar Pradesh is the fastest growing state in the country, while women feel secure, there is excellent law and order situation, goonda elements are in jail and today once again rule of law has been established in the state.

 

The double engine government of the BJP under Honourable Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji has made Uttar Pradesh free of all fears and lawlessness. Today all the mafias and goonda elements who used to roam around freely are now lodged in jails. Those who used to create fear and harass people are now scared and fear the rule of law. Under the double engine government of the BJP the people of Uttar Pradesh are experiencing peace, security, safety , development, growth and prosperity. Benefits of development programmes and policies of the double engine BJP government have reached the doorsteps of every citizen. Poor are getting free homes which are equipped with free gas connection, piped water , toilets and electricity connection while citizens are getting free medical insurance worth Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat Yojna. This is the change the BJP government has brought under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. This is the reason the ‘lotus’ is blooming all over .

 

Apart from the fabulous victory in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party has also secured a grand victory in 3 of the 4 assembly seats in Tripura assembly byelection. The BJP Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has also secured victory with a huge margin. I extend my thanks and congratulations to the great people of Tripura.

 

Before this the BJP has secured historic victories in the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur. Apart from this the BJP has also secured emphatic wins in the local body elections in various states.

 

 

 

The manner in which the people of the country are unitedly giving their blessings and support to our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and giving the BJP massive victories to the BJP under his leadership, this shows the massive trust Shri Modi ji enjoys of the people across the country. They also have great trust and support for the pro poor programmes and policies of the BJP government led by our Honourable Prime Minister.

 

The massive victories in Uttar Pradesh and Tripura is yet another stamp of approval of the pro poor policies and programmes and public welfare schemes of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. I once again thank and congratulate the electorate. I also thank and congratulate our Honourable Prime Minister for these emphatic victories.

 

The historic and massive victories of the BJP also signifies the massive political reforms in the country by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji who has demolished the politics of casteism, dynasty, corruption, nepotism, appeasement and communalism. Shri Modi ji has established the politics of growth, development, progress and prosperity in the country. I assure the people of Uttar Pradesh, Tripura and also people across the country that the BJP will always strive for the upliftment and betterment of lives of people across all sections of our society, the BJP will persistently work for the development and growth of the country and the BJP will always stand with the people of the country under all circumstances.
