Addressing the press conference at the BJP headquarters in Delhi the Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia lambasted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his politics of falsehood and absurd statements.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia said Aam Aadmi Party has become 'Arvind Asatya Party' and Arvind Kejriwal has become factory of falsehood. Arvind Kejriwal does nothing, he just misleads and fools people by making false claims and giving absurd statements.

Arvind Kejriwal has created new record in speaking lies. Kejriwal model has completely failed. The Delhi Chief Minister never fulfills his promises. Arvind Kejriwal's politics is totally hollow and without any substance or depth, and his press conferences also does not have any significance or reliability.

Kejriwal ji, do you believe that no one will catch your lies. From politics of freebies to lies, it has become a trademark, a character of Arvind Kejriwal. It does not behove of a person who is occupying a Constitutional position. It is not Aam Aadmi Party but 'Arvind Asatya Party'. Arvind Kejriwal first speaks lies and make false statements and then apologises when he is exposed. It has become the habit of the Delhi Chief Minister.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has been regularly exposing Arvind Kejriwal's bogus and baseless press conferences based on facts and figures.

The Bharatiya Janata Party challenges Arvind Kejriwal to answer the questions raised by the BJP regarding three big lies which Arvind Kejriwal has spoken.

Arvind Kejriwal has said that the Central Government has cut the MGNREGA budget by 25%, the scheme which gaurantees 100 days of work every year to poor labourers and farmers. The truth is that the Bharatiya Janata Party government under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has made MGNREGA more effective. Also, the Narendra Modi Government has not only increased the budget of MGNREGA but has also ensured that every penny of the money earned by labourers and farmers through this scheme directly goes into their bank accounts with getting in the trap of middlemen or corrupt people.

In 2021-22 the budget of MGNREGA was Rs 73,000 crores, which was revised to Rs 98,000 crores thus increasing the allocation by around Rs 25,000 crores. When the MGNREGA budget in 2021-22 was Rs 73,000 crores and in 2022-23 also Rs 73,000 crores were allocated then why these false accusations of cut in budget?

Honourable Union Finance Minister has assured in Parliament that more funds will be allocated if there is any requirement. Arvind Kejriwal has no knowledge about financial terms and it would be better that he should have asked some learned person how Budget is allocated.

Arvind Kejriwal has spoken yet another lie and levelled false allegations by saying that the Central Government earlier used to give 42% share of the total tax collected which has now been reduced to 29%.

Arvind Kejriwal why have you become a serial liar and a habitual offender? Whatever you have said is nothing but white lies. There has been a fall of just 1% due to increase in fund allocation to newly created union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladhak from the Centre. Today the fund allocation stands at 41% , but in holistic terms it is still 42%.

Arvind Kejriwal's third blatant lie is that the Central Government has refused to set up 8th Pay Commission. Arvind Kejriwal has made false accusations that the current government at the Centre does not care for its employees.

Kejriwal ji it would be wise of you to first read and get some knowledge before making false statements in the public.

Is it not true that every time Pay Commission is constituted, it gives its recommendations and then the process of it's implementation is started by the Centre. The entire process takes a lot of time. It causes inconvenience to employees. That is the reason that the Narendra Modi Government wants to implement a model so that the government employees do not have to wait for long and they should get benefits immediately without any undue wait.

Arvind Kejriwal also asked where does the money which comes to the Centre goes? Arvind Kejriwal ji, you should know that the money that comes to the government does not go in the homes of any Satender Jain and Manish Sisodiya.

The Centre's money goes to feeding and welfare of the poor and needy. It goes in giving free rations to over 80 crore citizens, it goes in giving 200 crore free vaccination doses, it goes in the construction of over 10 crore toilets, it goes in the construction of houses for over 2.5 crore people, it goes in giving free cooking gas cylinders to 9 crore poor families,  it goes in giving over Rs 2 lakh crores to over 10 crore farmers enrolled under the Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna, and it goes in providing financial help to citizens under various government schemes by ensuring DBT to beneficiaries bank accounts.

Arvind Kejriwal has the long history of speaking white lies. He makes promises, but does not fulfil even one-tenth of these promises.

In 2015 Arvind Kejriwal promised to open 500 new schools in Delhi. But the fact is that no new schools were opened, and on the contrary 16 schools were shut down. Today over 700 schools of Delhinare working without principals, while posts of 16000 teachers are lying vacant. Arvind Kejriwal does not care about schools in Delhi, he is more worried and concerned about liquor stores in Delhi.

In 2015 Arvind Kejriwal had promised to give jobs to 8 lakh youth. Between 2015 and 2020 Arvind Kejriwal gave jobs to just 440 youths -- 176 in 2015, 102 in 2016, 66 in 2017, 68 in 2018, zero in 2019 and 28 in 2020. In last 6 years Arvind Kejriwal government gave jobs to just 440 youths. This is the truth and model of Asatya Arvind Party.

Arvind Kejriwal had also promised to make hospitals, but did construct a single hospital. This truth has been exposed through an RTI. Similarly the truth of so called Mohalla Clinics of Arvind Kejriwal has also been exposed by the Honourable Delhi High Court. These Mohalla Clinics turned out to be utter failure during the Corona pandemic. When the people of Delhi were struggling to get medical oxygen, Arvind Kejriwal had gone underground. It is the Narendra Modi Government which has been constantly working for the welfare and wellbeing of the people of Delhi.

The Bharatiya Janata Party sincerely hopes that Arvind Kejriwal will answer the questions raised today and will not run away from the hard truths raised by the BJP. Whenever there is a crisis in Delhi Arvind Kejriwal just disappears and goes in hiding, and later comes out just to make false promises to the people of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal just makes false promises, as he never fulfills them.

When a Chief Minister who takes oath of our Constitution and then he lies and misleads the people, he has no right to remain in office for even one minute.
