A press conference was conducted at Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters, New Delhi, by BJP National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia. During the press conference, he criticized the INDI Alliance, calling it a "Deemak Alliance". Shri Gaurav Bhatia highlighted the corruption cases involving INC leaders and expressed concern over their silence on such matters. He took a dig at Arvind Kejriwal for his tweet supporting Hemant Soren and highlighted the corruption cases including Kejriwal's summons by the ED. He also reiterated the government's commitment to safeguard the law and order.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia stated that at the Parliament, respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi made it absolutely clear when he conveyed that the termite of corruption will be uprooted completely, and those political parties indulging in corrupt practices to advance their families will have to pay back every penny to the people and will have to go behind bars. This is a mindset, an ideology, with which 140 crore Indians stand, and they also want the termite of corruption to be completely eradicated from the nation. While pointing out a case involving INC MP Dhiraj Sahu case in which a cash-filled wardrobe worth 352 crores was seized by the IT department, but on this, the leaders of the INDI alliance remained silent.

Shri Bhatia emphasized that the concerning news has come in the media and it becomes the BJP's responsibility to bring it out to the public. He added that the INC has been  'the mother of corruption', 'crime master Gogo', 'sabse bada vasooli center', and the party plays a prominent role in the INDI alliance, but in Dhiraj Sahu's case, no leader of the party said anything. He referred to the INDI alliance as ‘Deemak Alliance’ and ‘Corrupt Alliance’. Further, it was highlighted by Shri Bhatia that former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren received 10 summons from the ED regarding land scams with the help of government officers close to him. A BMW car was seized from Hemant Soren's residence in Delhi. When the car was seized, Hemant Soren was not even available to answer the questions of the ED, then later he was arrested. Today, it has been reported in all the newspapers, and channels that the BMW car seized was registered in the name of INC MP Dhiraj Sahu. The black earnings of 352 crores were speculated to go into the Gandhi family's treasures, but as the BMW being used by Hemant Soren, turned out to be registered in the name of Dhiraj Sahu it indicates that all corrupt leaders are in collusion and support each other.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia stated that the opposition thinks that if all the corrupt individuals come together, then Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's strong and honest government, as well as the central investigative agencies, will be intimidated. However, this is not happening. Shri Gaurav highlighted a tweet by Arvind Kejriwal in support of Hemant Soren and questioned his empathy towards him, stating that this is not a blood relation but a connection to the black earnings soaked in blood. This is a relationship with the sinful black earnings. Corrupt and staunchly dishonest Arvind Kejriwal rushed to portray that it's his compulsion to stand with Hemant Soren because Arvind Kejriwal has been indulged in multiple corruption activities.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia criticized Arvind Kejriwal for a tweet where Kejriwal alleged that the BJP, after putting Hemant Soren in jail, attempted to break down the JMM for 48 hours. Shri Bhatia argued that the world knows Kejriwal is the biggest corrupt leader. He further mentioned Kejriwal's tweet praising the JMM for not splitting despite alleged efforts by the BJP. Shri Bhatia then accused Kejriwal of hypocrisy, citing the involvement of JMM in various scams, including a land scam, the use of a BMW purchased with allegedly black money amounting to 352 crores, and a mining scam. Shri Bhatia also pointed out that Kejriwal used to praise Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendar Jain for their honesty, but now they are allegedly in jail and have not been granted bail. He specifically highlighted Satyendar Jain's involvement in a massage scandal related to a POCSO act culprit. Shri Bhatia used these instances to question Kejriwal's credibility and consistency in his judgments.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia highlighted the case of Hemant Soren, who allegedly ignored 10 summons from the ED and did not appear before the probe agency. Shri Bhatia noted that Hemant Soren is now in jail and has not received any relief from the court. In contrast, Shri Bhatia pointed out that Arvind Kejriwal received 5 summons from the ED, and instead of presenting himself before the agency, he wrote what Shri Bhatia referred to as "Love Letters" to the ED, terming their notice ‘illegal and asking them to recall it. Shri Bhatia claimed that Kejriwal believes himself to be beyond the justice system.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia cited a verdict from the ED court, which, according to him, directed Arvind Kejriwal to appear before the court on February 17. He emphasized that this court decision demonstrated the power of law and order and a strong judicial system. Shri Bhatia described the court's statement as a "tight slap" for Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of disregarding law and order and attempting to mock democracy. Shri Bhatia referred to the court's statement, quoting it as saying, "by virtue of Section 53 of PMLA, the respondent of the summons and ‘the proposed accused’ was legally bound to attend in person, but purportedly he failed to do so." Shri Bhatia argued that Arvind Kejriwal, ‘the proposed accused’, who took an oath to safeguard democracy, was working against it, ignoring the law and order of the country, and failing in his responsibility to uphold it.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia highlighted another comment from the court, stating that Arvind Kejriwal was guilty under Section 174 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertains to not obeying the order of a public servant. He emphasized that it was Kejriwal's responsibility to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in cases of corruption. Shri Bhatia mentioned that the court instructed Kejriwal to appear before it on February 17. Additionally, the BJP Spokesperson brought up the alleged 352-crore scam by Dhiraj Sahu, asserting that there is no competition for Congress in terms of corruption.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia highlighted that the ED revealed an alleged link between Congress and JMM as the BMW owned by Congress MLA Dhiraj Sahu, used by Hemant Soren. According to the BJP spokesperson, the AAP attempted to defend and clear Hemant Soren's image while blaming the ED for allegedly torturing Soren. Shri Bhatia pointed out the irony that Arvind Kejriwal, who himself reportedly feared ED summons and attempted to avoid them, was now defending Hemant Soren. He emphasized the contrast between the situation of Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, who were in jail without bail, while the purported "kingpin" remained outside.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia highlighted that the Delhi High Court recently rejected the bail plea of Sanjay Singh, yet Arvind Kejriwal did not release any statement on the verdict. Shri Bhatia expressed that corrupt leaders, such as Sanjay Singh, Partha Chatterjee, and others, who engaged in corruption with confidence in not being caught, are now under the scrutiny of the ED and CBI. According to Shri Gaurav Bhatia, the courts are delivering unbiased verdicts, and the faces of corrupt leaders are being exposed. He criticized leaders holding constitutional posts who were involved in looting public money meant for the benefit of women, the poor, and deserving individuals. Shri Bhatia asserted that the country is in the hands of effective leadership under PM Shri Narendra Modi, and central agencies are working impartially against corrupt leaders. While concluding his remarks, Shri Gaurav Bhatia emphasized that corrupt leaders like Arvind Kejriwal, Hemant Soren, Dhiraj Sahu, and others have become "poisonous" for the country. He stressed the importance of removing this poison and highlighted the rapid development taking place under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bhatia advocated for ensuring that funds sent by the Centre directly reach the poor without interference from middlemen, corrupt leaders, or kingpins. Those engaging in such interference, according to Bhatia, should face legal consequences, including imprisonment.
