Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia addressed a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday. During the press conference, Shri Gaurav Bhatia strongly criticized the communal statements made by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and SP leader Maria Alam Khan, strongly condemning the politics of appeasement and communalism perpetuated by the INDI alliance.

Shri Bhatia pointed out that in the last 24 hours, two communal statements were made by leaders of the INDI alliance, violating both national laws and the Model Code of Conduct. The statements were made by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and Samajwadi Party leader Maria Alam Khan, who is also the niece of Salman Khurshid. It is now clear that the INDI alliance is fostering hatred and discord in the midst of the country's democratic process.

National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia remarked that Maria Alam Khan has suggested that 'vote jihad' should be carried out with great intelligence and stealth. The NDA, BJP, and the people of India view voting as an expression of democracy and enthusiasm. However, Rahul Gandhi's ‘Nafrat Ki Dukan’ is also being promoted by the Samajwadi Party and Trinamool Congress, which now encourage 'vote jihad.' The Congress manifesto explicitly states that majoritarianism will not be tolerated in this country.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia highlighted that while Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership focuses on development and strengthening national unity through the 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' model, others are promoting 'vote jihad.' This is a warning against those seeking to oust the BJP through 'vote jihad.' The BJP embodies the concept of “Mohabbat Ka Jod Hai, Tootega Nahi”. It stands for hard work, integrity, and patriotism, making it indestructible.

Shri Bhatia highlighted that Akhilesh Yadav's endorsement of PDA truly stands for 'Prahaar: Dharm aur Aastha Pe', which signifies an attack on religion and faith while advocating 'vote jihad' fueled by animosity towards the majority. After Maria Alam Khan's remarks, swift action was taken with the filing of an FIR under Sections 295 A and 188A of the Indian Penal Code. However, Akhilesh Yadav did not denounce 'vote jihad', underscoring the essence of the INDI alliance's politics.

Shri Bhatia noted that AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, referring to a Congress candidate, remarked, "His name is Shiv, and he can compete with Ram equally because he's Shiv. My name is Mallikarjun, which means I'm Shiv too." Shri Bhatia accused Congress of seeking to unite Muslims, promote 'vote jihad', and divide Hindus. He further criticized Kharge for creating a conflict between Bhagwan Shiv and Shri Ram. Additionally, Mallikarjun Kharge mentioned that if Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi stays in power, there will be a Sanatan rule in the country. Congress's consistent rhetoric against Sanatan, its labeling of Hindus as terrorists, and the depiction of Congress as a party for a specific class reflect the mental bankruptcy of the INDI alliance.

BJP National Spokesperson emphasized that while Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is focused on development for all sections of society, Congress, TMC, and SP are only bringing up communal issues during the elections. Rahul Gandhi talks about opposing the 'Shakti' of Hinduism, while Remote Control President Mallikarjun Kharge pits Bhagwan Shiv against Shri Ram. Their ideology, rooted in communalism, is fundamentally anti-constitutional, reminiscent of Taliban-like tactics. Both Kharge and Rahul Gandhi seem to misunderstand the Constitution, as their party's manifesto contains provisions for Sharia law, aims to strengthen personal laws, and promotes appeasement politics.

Shri Bhatia highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi abolished the malpractice of Triple Talaq, declaring it sinful, yet Congress and SP are now advocating for its return, which underscores the toxic ideology of both parties. Congress is offering religion-based reservations and has circulated a deepfake video of Shri Amit Shah to suggest that reservation policies will be reversed, contradicting the Prime Minister's and Union Home Minister's commitment to constitutional provisions. They advocate for the rights of the SC, ST and OBC, which is the basic spirit of the Constitution. However, the Congress party by sharing a deepfake video of the speech is misleading people into believing that reservation will be abolished by BJP.

Shri Bhatia emphasized that in this ideological battle, one side represents the strong principles of the BJP and NDA, promoting equal rights for every citizen in accordance with the Constitution. On the other side, there's the biased ideology of Congress, which denigrates Hindus and appeases a specific group, in violation of the Constitution's spirit.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia noted that Mamata Banerjee has also made statements aimed at vote banks. Exposing these ideologies is part of the BJP's commitment, trusting that the law will take its course. Such PDA, meaning "Pakhandi, Dhongi aur Arajak Tatva", must be held accountable. No one should be allowed to tarnish the nation's festivals or sow seeds of hatred. Every citizen has complete faith in Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership.
