Brutal Physical abuse of a woman in Chopra, Dinajpur, shows that West Bengal has become synonymous with 'Jungle Raj'

*****************

In North Dinajpur, TMC leader Tajmul does not believe in the Constitution of India but in delivering instant justice in a Talibani style at the behest of Mamata Banerjee
*****************

*****************

The spirit of the Constitution are being  shredded to pieces in West Bengal, and the Indi Alliance, carrying the Constitution in hand, remains silent on these atrocities

Mamata Banerjee's faith is no longer in the constitution and she has openly allowed her party's goons to enforce ‘Sharia law’, establishing the Taliban's rule. “Khaata na bahi jo Mamta ke gunde kahe wahi sahi”

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee must take responsibility for the incidents in Sandeshkhali, election violence, murder, rape, and incidents in North Dinajpur, and the BJP is calling for her resignation

Bhartiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia convened a press conference at the party's central office on Monday. During the press conference, Shri Gaurav Bhatia condemned the incident of physical abuse against a woman in North Dinajpur, West Bengal, by a TMC leader named Tajmul. Shri Bhatia criticized the law and order situation under Mamata Banerjee and called for her immediate resignation.

Shri Bhatia stated that the recent horrific incident of a woman being assaulted in Dinajpur highlights the ‘Jungle Raj’ in West Bengal. A woman in Chopra, North Dinajpur, was brutally beaten up by a TMC leader in a public place. The video and photographs of the incident gained widespread attention on social media platforms. Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda condemned the incident and expressed his views on 'X'.

National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia mentioned that TMC leader Tajmul, alias JCB, does not believe in the Indian Constitution and instead adheres to a Talibani style of justice under Mamata Banerjee’s protection. Mamata Banerjee has no faith in the Constitution; rather, she has given a free hand to the goons of TMC and is keen to implement Sharia law in the state. The people of Bengal are fed up with Mamata Banerjee Raj akin to 'Jungle Raj.' As a female Chief Minister who also oversees the state's Home Ministry, Mamata Banerjee has given a free hand to TMC goons, which is worrying to the public. Instead of ensuring public safety, she ensures the security of TMC goons.

Shri Bhatia asserted that TMC leader Tajmul aka JCB parks at Mamata Banerjee’s residence and is directly linked with TMC MLA Hamidur Rahaman. Recently, when a journalist asked MLA Hamidur Rahaman about the incident, he publicly announced that few laws of Muslim countries are similar to that and this is the way to bring justice by beating up a woman in public.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that the questions must be asked: Is the Tajmul Haque alias JCB parked at Mamata Banerjee’s place? Is the TMC MLA Hamidur Rahman taking forward Mamata Banerjee's thinking that any woman should be beaten publicly because this is happening according to the rules of Muslim countries? Shri Bhatia pointed out that Mamata Banerjee herself is a woman CM and holds the Home Ministry. She stayed silent on Sheikh Shahjahan in the Sandeshkhali incident and on Aurangzeb Tajmul in the North Dinajpur incident. Are those from the opposition and the Indi Alliance, who wave copies of the Constitution, agreeing to this Taliban-style justice?

Shri Bhatia stated that this issue concerns the identity and rights of women, human rights, and the appeasement politics in which Mamata Banerjee is so entangled that she no longer cares about the Constitution and human rights. The issue also highlights the weakened law and order situation in West Bengal. Shri Bhatia pointed out that each leader from the Indi Alliance is silent on the matter. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Akhilesh Yadav have not made a single statement. Arvind Kejriwal remains silent, and we have seen how he treated his own MP, Swati Maliwal. The Indi Alliance, which often speaks about upholding the constitution, is now undermining its spirit in West Bengal. Only the Bharatiya Janata Party stands firm in support of the victims.

National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia expressed concern that figures like Tajmul Haque and TMC MLA Hamidur Rahman do not condemn such incidents; instead, they claim these actions are justified. They compare it to the justice in Muslim countries and suggest that West Bengal is now Taliban-ruled. Shri Bhatia emphasized that the state won’t be governed by laws; instead, people will decide for themselves who has done wrong and punish them accordingly. He remarked that Mamata Banerjee must take responsibility for incidents such as those in Sandeshkhali, the violence and rapes before and after elections, and now the incident in North Dinajpur.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party demands the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who also holds the Home Ministry in the state, due to the deteriorating law and order situation. He asserted that she cannot handle the state, and the people of West Bengal are raising various questions about her leadership.
