SALIENT POINTS OF THE PRESS CONFERENCE OF THE BJP NATIONAL SPOKESPERSON SHRI GAURAV BHATIA

 

The kind of things that have been written in the book by senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Salman Khurshid and whatever had been said in the book release function is an attempt not just to hurt the feelings of the Hindus but to hurt India's soul. These preposterous acts of the senior Congress leader is highly condemnable and deplorable.

In India the Congress party and its leaders get so much of respect and love , despite this why they doing such things is beyond comprehension . Such derogatory words and reprehensible thoughts is not just of one single Congress party leader ,  in fact it has become the ideology of the entire Congress party.

The Congress party is persistently conspiring against the Hindu community. Why does the Congress party treats and considers the Hindu community as the second class citizens of India?  The Congress party's ideology and principle is to spread hatred against the Hindu community and to ill-treat the Hindus.

The Congress party should tell the country what is its ideology and its principles? Does the Congress party believes that the tolerant Hindu community should be equated with terrorist organisations like Boko Haram and ISIS?

Sonia Gandhi should tell the nation that the Congress party leaders are repeatedly giving derogatory and venomous statements against the Hindu community and Hinduism, does Sonia Gandhi agrees to their statements, does these Congress party leaders enjoy her patronage? Why does Sonia Gandhi remains mum on such issues? Why does the Congress party leaders do politics of convenience and hatred and pretend to be pro Hindu?

Whenever an election approaches, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra starts visiting temples and Hindu shrines, so is it not the responsibility of all the Congress party leaders that they should not hurt the feelings of the Hindu community and show some respect towards Hinduism? The Congress party leaders should not disrespect and demean the Hindu community and Hinduism.

If Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra believe that derogatory utterances of Salman Khurshid are correct, then I challenge Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra that in their political rallies and meetings they should repeatedly equate Hindus and Hindu community with terrorist organisations like Boko Haram and ISIS.

The Congress party run governments have done just the politics of appeasement and communal hatred. The Congress party has always tried to break the society, tried to create communal tensions and have always done the politics of creating division between the Hindus and Muslims.

I want to ask Sonia Gandhi that why such leaders are never penalised and thrown out of the Congress party? It will give a message to the entire country that in politics you can be our competitors, our opposers but you cannot be the enemy of the country.

One of the greatest contributions of the Hindu community has been its sacrifices for the country and in the freedom movement of the country. Hindu community has always worked to promote religious harmony and to keep nation intact and to promote social harmony. But it is very unfortunate that the Congress party leaders on behest of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra have always tried to hurt feelings of the Hindu community and tried to suppress and demean Hindus.

Is it not true that the phrase of Hindu Terrorism was coined at the Congress party headquarters? Is it not true that the Congress party leaders in order to defame and insult the Hindu community created words like Hindu Taliban , saffron terrorism and have repeatedly said India has threat from the Hindu community?

Will 'wishful Hindus' Rahul Gandhi and 'political tourist' Priyanka Vadra dare to say that the ideology of Hinduism is similar to the ideologies of Boko Haram and ISIS? Why don't these two Congress party leaders deny that it is not the ideology of the Congress, and that the Congress party leaders who say defamatory and derogatory words against the Hindu community and Hinduism are wrong.

The Hindu community is very tolerant and sensitive which believes in taking all communities together. No political party has any right to hurt the feelings and sentiments of the Hindu community and demean Hinduism.

I want to tell Sonia Gandhi ji that the kind of dirty and derogatory politics you are doing against the Hindu community, it is an insult of India's secularism and a direct attack on India's soul. Therefore, it is very  necessary that you should wake up and break your silence and take to task all those leaders of the Congress party who are demeaning and defaming the Hindu community and Hinduism.

During the Congress party government Salman Khurshid, while reacting on the mass exodus of the Kashmir Pandits and atrocities against the Hindu community in Jammu and Kashmir, had said that 'what can the Congress party and its government do for the migration'. Similarly, on the 1984 anti Sikh riots Sam Pitroda, one of the favourites of Rahul Gandhi, had said 'hua to hua' (it happened, so what). All this reflects the true character and the real face of the Congress party.

Under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji India has been successfully able to end the politics of appeasement, casteism and family politics, and a new era of growth, development, progress and prosperity has started. Today the Opposition parties are forced to talk about development and growth.

The Congress party knows that its politics of hate and falsehood has been outrightly rejected by the people of the country time and again. The electorate have shown the Congress party the mirror. Today there is peace and harmony in the country and in Uttar Pradesh. But when there was the Congress government at the Centre riots in Muzaffarnagar had taken place. And that is the reason that the Congress party is giving inflammatory and baseless statements just to do it politics of appeasement and to fan communal passions and to create division in the society.
