Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia addressed a press conference on Tuesday, at the part head office. During the conference, Shri Bhatia strongly criticized the autocratic attitude of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee against the Nabanna peaceful protests of doctors, students and youth. He also condemned the land allotment scam of High Tech Defense Aerospace Park in Karnataka.

 

Shri Bhatia demanded that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee immediately resign from her position and suspend the Police Commissioner to ensure a fair investigation into the rape and brutal murder of a female doctor from RG Kar Medical College. He also called for a polygraph test for both Mamata Banerjee and the Police Commissioner. Additionally, Shri Bhatia demanded a CBI inquiry into the land allotment scam in the High Tech Defense Aerospace Park and urged Congress Party President Mallikarjun Kharge to resign, along with his son Priyank Kharge from his ministerial position in the Karnataka Government.

 

Amidst the protest of doctors, students and youth in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee's dictatorship is at its peak.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia expressed deep concern over the events unfolding at Nabanna in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. The incident at Nabanna is a violation of the Constitution and if there is a dictator anywhere in the country, it is Mamata Banerjee. He stated that a heinous crime occurred at RG Kar Medical College, where a female doctor was raped and brutally murdered. TMC President and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has taken a stance to protect the criminals involved. Dictator Mamata Banerjee, more fittingly called "Nir-Mamata Banerjee," has failed to maintain law and order in West Bengal and to ensure the safety of women.

 

Shri Bhatia mentioned that today, doctors, students and youth have peacefully taken to the streets to protest against the rape and brutal murder of a female doctor. Even in the past, when these groups held peaceful demonstrations, the "Lungi Vahini," or infiltrators, attacked and vandalized the protest stages while Mamata Banerjee's police remained silent spectators. This is because the "Lungi Vahini," or infiltrators, are believed to be members of the TMC.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that today when students peacefully protested to Gherao Nabanna, Mamata Banerjee's police were fully alert and prepared. Water cannons, large containers and batons were used to stop the demonstrators, as if doctors, students and youth were the criminals as if they had committed the rape! This shows the mindset of Dictator Mamata Banerjee, who shows compassion for criminals but deploys the police force to take strict action against students and doctors, which is deeply concerning.

 

Shri Gaurav Bhatia claimed that the rape and brutal murder of a female doctor from RG Kar Medical College was initially reported as a suicide, but it was later confirmed to be a case of rape and murder. Both the Calcutta High Court and the Supreme Court reprimanded those involved in shielding the accused. This incident reveals the true character of the RG Kar Medical College administration, the Mamata Banerjee government and the West Bengal police.

 

Bharatiya Janata Party demands—

·      Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should resign immediately and the Police Commissioner should be removed without delay to ensure a fair investigation into the rape and brutal murder of the female doctor from RG Kar Medical College.

·      To bring the truth to light, the CBI is investigating this case. The CBI should conduct a polygraph test on Mamata Banerjee and the Police Commissioner in this matter.

 

Shri Bhatia stated that as long as these individuals remain in their positions and continue to oppress students and youth, the Bharatiya Janata Party will not stand for it. The BJP will vigorously oppose them. Until the victim’s family receives justice and every woman in West Bengal is safe, the BJP will persist in challenging the autocratic Mamata Banerjee at both the national and state levels and will stand firmly with doctors, students and youth.

 

Mallikarjun Kharge and his family are implicated in a scandal involving the allocation of land for the High-Tech Defense Aerospace Park in Karnataka.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia remarked that it is not inaccurate to equate Congress with corruption. In Karnataka, scandals like the MUDA scam and the Valmiki Development scam took place right under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's watch. Siddaramaiah was expected to ensure that MUDA benefited the public, but instead, he exploited it to benefit his own family. Now, a land allocation scandal involving the Hi-Tech Defense Aerospace Park has come to light under the Congress government.

 

Shri Bhatia highlighted that land was meant to be allocated to entrepreneurs for the High-Tech Defense Aerospace Park. Instead, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and his family received five acres from the Scheduled Caste quota, which exemplifies extreme corruption. This shows that the Congress party remains deeply entrenched in corrupt practices. Their new slogan seems to be: “Jaha Jaaunga Bhrashtachar Laaunga. Aaya Hoon Toh Kuch Toh Lunga” Whenever Congress forms a government, corruption swiftly follows. The Congress state government failed to curb corruption and instead allocates state resources to its own families.

 

Shri Bhatia noted that five acres of land in the park were allocated to the Siddharth Vihar Trust. This trust includes Mallikarjun Kharge as a member, with the second member being Radhakrishnan, who is Kharge's son-in-law. The situation can be summarized as: “Damad Rahe Aabad, Bhale Hi Karnataka Hojaaye Barbaad” (the son-in-law prospers, even if Karnataka suffers). It seems that prominent Congress leaders prioritize the interests of their son-in-laws. Previously, Robert Vadra received numerous allocations under Congress governments. In the trust, the third member is Mallikarjun Kharge's wife, the fourth is Priyank Kharge, a minister in the Karnataka Congress government and Kharge's son and the fifth is Rahul Kharge, another son of Mallikarjun Kharge.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia conveyed that Mallikarjun Kharge is the President of the Congress Party and that the Congress government is in power in Karnataka. Shouldn't Mallikarjun Kharge have advised his family against indulging in corruption? The land should have been allocated to those from the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who genuinely need it. Shri Bhatia questioned whether Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi would hold Kharge accountable for the alleged scam? In response, Mallikarjun Kharge might say that those questioning him are themselves out on bail for corruption charges. When asked about the issue of his son-in-law, Kharge could counter by reminding them that they also allocated land to Robert Vadra, so why are they questioning him?

 

Bharatiya Janata Party demands-

·      Mallikarjun Kharge should immediately resign from his position as Congress Party President, and Priyank Kharge should promptly step down from his role as Minister in the Karnataka government.

·      Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should immediately resign due to his alleged involvement in the MUDA Scam and the Valmiki Development Scam.

·      As long as the Congress government remains in power in Karnataka, a fair investigation into the land allotment scam in the Hi-Tech Defense Aerospace Park may not be possible. Therefore, a CBI investigation is necessary to ensure impartiality and transparency.

 

Bharatiya Janata Party asked Siddaramaiah whether he allocated land to the family members of Mallikarjun Kharge so that Siddaramaiah can continue being in power in the State of Karnataka. If this is true, it is deeply concerning. The BJP has called for a CBI investigation, suggesting that if Kharge denies any wrongdoing, there should be no objection to such an inquiry. According to reports, land was allegedly allotted to Mallikarjun Kharge's family by bypassing the rules.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that while the constitution is being undermined, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is directing her anger at doctors, students and youth instead of the accused. Shri Bhatia criticized the INDI Alliance for remaining silent on this issue and questioned why there is confusion about corruption within the alliance. Only the Bharatiya Janata Party speaks out against corruption and works to address it, while Congress and the INDI Alliance seem to elevate those involved in corruption. Mallikarjun Kharge has become the President of the Congress Party and Rahul Gandhi is the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, and both of them are accused of corruption.
