Salient Points of BJP National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia’s Press Conference

The Congress, JMM, and Maha Vikas Aghadi are employing vote jihad and appeasement politics to fuel polarization in Jharkhand and Maharashtra.

******************

To advance their agenda of appeasement politics, the INDI Alliance is turning a blind eye to infiltrators, treating them as their vote bank.

******************

In contrast, the BJP, Mahayuti, and NDA remains committed to development and the empowerment of citizens, while the (MVA)"Maha Vasooli Aghadi," Hemant Soren, and Congress are openly siding with infiltrators.

******************

The Jharkhand High Court recently directed an investigation into the demographic changes, affecting primarily the tribal community in the state. However, under pressure from Hemant Soren, the State Government has not taken any effective steps to take actions against the infiltrators.

******************

Despite these demographic changes, leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sharad Pawar, and Uddhav Thackeray have chosen to remain silent, while Hemant Soren openly refers to the infiltrators as his "brothers and sisters."

******************

The task of dividing society (baatna) is being orchestrated by Rahul Gandhi Congress, Uddhav Thakrey, Sharad Pawar’s party and JMM. After the division, the infiltrators will carry out the task of targetting the citizens of the country particularly the members of the Schedule Tribe and Schedule Caste and the national security of the country. (kaatna).

******************

Congress and JMM are depriving citizens of their rightful entitlements and handing them over to the infiltrators.

******************

Height of communal appeasement is when public appeals by the Ulema Board, All India Muslim Personal Law Board, and several maulanas urging Muslims to unite and vote for Congress, Udhav Thakrey, Sharad Pawar and the JMM.

******************

Ghulam Mir, the Congress party’s in-charge for Jharkhand, BLATANTLY announced that starting December 1, gas cylinders will be given for just ₹450 to the infiltrators.

******************

While the people of Jharkhand regard the BJP and NDA as their own, the JMM and Congress seem to treat infiltrators as their priority.

******************

The Supreme Court has observed that due to the lack of effective border management during Congress’s 55-year rule at the Centre, 2 to 3 crore infiltrators entered the country.

******************

The JMM and Congress, lacking the moral high ground, are unable to voice even a single word against these infiltrators.

Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia addressed a press conference at the party's central office on Saturday. During the conference, Shri Bhatia condemned the leaders of Muslim organizations in Maharashtra and Jharkhand for promoting ‘vote jihad’ against the BJP and openly supporting Congress, JMM, and the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Shri Bhatia emphasized that while the BJP and NDA are focused on development and empowerment, the INDI Alliance and Maha Vikas Aghadi are engaged in appeasement politics. He also pointed out that the JMM, Congress, and the INDI Alliance have lost their moral authority to speak on issues of infiltration and appeasement.

Shri Bhatia stated that the BJP-led Mahayuti in Maharashtra is committed to the upliftment of its citizens. As the first phase of elections concluded in Jharkhand, it is clear that the BJP is poised to form the government there, with a similar wave of support for the BJP-led Mahayuti in Maharashtra. While the BJP-led Mahayuti presents its report card and focuses on the welfare of citizens in Maharashtra, the Maha Vasooli Aghadi, the Congress party, and Hemant Soren continue to engage in appeasement and favor infiltrators.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia criticized their actions, stating that if they are unable to secure votes, they should exit politics rather than resort to "vote jihad" by seeking support from infiltrators. He emphasized the positive slogan by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, "Ek Rahoge to Safe Rahoge," which encapsulates the key to national unity and development. However, members of the Maha Vasooli Aghadi and other INDI Alliance parties have raised objections to this slogan, exposing their appeasement agenda. It is now time for the public to put an end to such divisive politics.

Shri Bhatia also addressed the remarks made by AIMPLB and Maulana Sajjad Noumani, who stated, "The impact of the Maharashtra Assembly election in 2024 will be felt across the entire country. This is why we have decided to support Maha Vikas Aghadi’s candidates in 279 constituencies. Apart from MVA, we are supporting candidates from other parties." When AIMPLB and Maulana Sajjad Noumani appeal to Muslims to vote in the name of religion, it is a clear case of ‘Vote Jihad.’ This is the tactic employed by the INDI Alliance, which follows the mantra of “Pehle Baaton, Phir Kaaton.” The task of dividing people is being carried out by Congress, JMM, Uddhav Thackeray, and Sharad Pawar’s party. After division, it is the infiltrators who will cause harm to the people. This is not an isolated appeal; in Jharkhand, Jamiat-e-Ulema Lohardaga also urged Muslims to vote for the INDI Alliance. From Maharashtra to Jharkhand, similar appeals have been made to support the INDI Alliance.

The Bharatiya Janata Party raised several questions to Congress, JMM, and Maha Vikas Aghadi, seeking answers:

·      From Maharashtra to Jharkhand, Muslims are being urged to vote for the INDI Alliance. If this is not vote jihad, then what is it?

·      Is this not a violation of the Constitution?

·      If this is not a violation of the Model Code of Conduct, then what is?

·      What is the compulsion for JMM, Congress, and Maha Vikas Aghadi to seek the support of infiltrators?

Shri Bhatia stated that yesterday, the country celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The lesson we learn from Birsa Munda is the spirit of sacrifice to protect the land of our nation. However, the JMM and Congress are inviting infiltrators into the state, allowing them to take control of the land. Recently, Ghulam Mir, the Congress party’s in-charge for Jharkhand, announced that starting December 1, gas cylinders will be given for just ₹450, with no discrimination based on religion or citizenship status, including infiltrators. Shri Bhatia questioned the compulsions of the JMM-Congress and the ‘Maha Vasooli Aghadi,’ asking why infiltrators are so crucial to them.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia further drew parallels to Maharashtra, alleging that the alliance there is encouraging a ‘vote jihad’ and pushing a divisive agenda. Properties belonging to Hindus are being handed over to the Waqf Board in Maharashtra, while in Jharkhand, benefits are being extended to infiltrators. The BJP is responsibly and strongly raising these concerns.

Shri Bhatia asserted that the BJP in Jharkhand has clearly prioritized Roti, Beti, Maati’ (food, safety, and land) as its core issues. While the people of Jharkhand see the BJP and NDA as their own, the JMM and Congress appear to consider infiltrators as their priority. The BJP is prepared to fight this ideological battle and stands firmly with the people of Jharkhand, especially the scheduled tribes and backward classes, in stark contrast to the JMM and Congress, who side with infiltrators.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia remarked that the Supreme Court had observed that during the Congress party's 55 years in power at the Centre, 2 to 3 crore infiltrators entered the country due to the lack of effective border management. Shri Bhatia then referred to a significant judgment by the Jharkhand High Court on September 20, 2024, which remains unchallenged. The court clearly stated that the tribal community in the state is experiencing substantial demographic changes, which pose a threat to their identity. To address this issue, the court recommended the establishment of a fact-finding committee.

Shri Bhatia further stated that when government and district officials were asked to address the issue, the district officials, under pressure, denied any infiltration or demographic changes. However, the state government itself acknowledged the problem, admitting that infiltrators were entering from neighboring states and that consultations with the central government were necessary to implement remedial measures. Despite having ample time for such consultations, the Jharkhand government failed to take action, instead prioritizing corruption. The recent High Court directive underscores the appeasement politics of parties that treat infiltrators as their own.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that when Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath says, "Batoge toh katoge," it discomforts the Congress and JMM. Their politics seeks to divide and weaken the public, particularly the Hindu community, diminishing their rights and power. Congress and JMM strip citizens of their rights and hand them over to infiltrators. This is evident when various Ulemas, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, and maulanas publicly urge Muslims to unite. Shri Bhatia made a strong appeal to the Election Commission of India and the Hon'ble Supreme Court to ensure that no political party exploits religion during elections. Religious appeals in elections are corrupt practices and must not be tolerated in a democracy like India, where elections should remain as pure as the Ganges. Therefore, it is deeply concerning that Congress, Sharad Pawar, and Uddhav Thackeray, driven by their lust for power, are willing to appease and express love for infiltrators, showing little regard for the national security threat posed by these illegal immigrants. These infiltrators claim resources meant for Indian citizens, particularly in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, and cause demographic changes that threaten the culture of both the states and the nation. Despite this, leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sharad Pawar, and Uddhav Thackeray remain silent, while Hemant Soren openly refers to infiltrators as his "brothers and sisters."

Shri Bhatia also noted that a reputable newspaper recently reported that infiltrators, who are Muslims, have had their names changed to Hindu names by the local administration. These Muslim infiltrators, under the guise of being Hindus, are engaging in illegal activities. This is a serious issue, and action should be taken by the Hemant Soren government. To highlight the demographic change, Shri Bhatia cited Sahibganj, where in 1961, the population was 4.14 lakh, with Muslims constituting 20% of the population. Today, the population of Sahibganj exceeds 11 lakh, with more than 4 lakh Muslims, nearly 35%, reflecting a 15% increase. Similar demographic shifts have occurred in Pakur, Santhal, and Pargana regions. The invasion by infiltrators poses a direct threat to the nation and the tribal communities of the state. The JMM and Congress have lost all moral ground to address issues of infiltration. The second phase of elections in Jharkhand is still to come, and Congress-JMM will be wiped out. This election is a contest between the people of Jharkhand and the supporters of infiltrators. The people of Jharkhand have decided to vote for the BJP-led NDA, securing over a two-thirds majority. Similarly, the Mahayuti government will be formed in Maharashtra with a decisive majority.
