Salient Points of Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Prem Shukla’s Press Conference

**********************************

INDI Alliance governments have become protectors of corruption, immorality and rapists. Wherever Congress is present, it brings loot and poverty, as evidenced by the Congress administrations in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh

**********************************

Rahul Gandhi used to promise that money would be deposited into people's accounts quickly (khata-khat). While bankruptcy came about just as swiftly (phata-phat)

**********************************

In Karnataka, prices for milk, petrol, diesel and water have been raised, while the cost of premium liquor has been lowered. It seems Congress may be suggesting that people should opt for cheaper alcohol instead of more expensive water

**********************************

Karnataka Chief Minister of Siddaramaiah was implicated in the MUDA scam, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is facing prosecution in corruption cases and the family of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge is involved in a land scam under the Siddharth Vihar Trust name

**********************************

Karnataka government lacks funds to pay salaries to its people, but it has 15-20 crores to lavish on Congress’ national president

**********************************

Karnataka government has instructed the removal of symbols of Shri Hanuman and Bhagwan Ram from lamp posts in Gangavathi Nagar. Why does Congress have such a problem with Shri Ram, Hanuman Ji, the Gada and the bow? Why do those who promote ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’ harbor such animosity towards Hindu symbols?

**********************************

For Congress, the Haj House represents a pillar of secularism, but when it comes to the Ram Mandir, images of Bhagwan Ram, Shri Hanuman Ji's ‘Gada’, Congress yields to objections from the SDPI

**********************************

Congress frequently makes derogatory remarks about constitutional institutions such as Parliament and the Election Commission and is now also criticizing the Supreme Court. Despite Congress leaders waving copies of the Constitution, they show little respect for these constitutional institutions

**********************************

Rahul Gandhi became the first Congress President to file an affidavit in the Supreme Court as an apology and he is a Supreme Court ‘certified liar’.

**********************************

INDI alliance leaders frequently speak of setting the country on fire to protect the corrupt and criminals, clearly revealing the influence of the Tukde-Tukde gang among them

**********************************

Bharatiya Janata Party demands a CBI inquiry into Mallikarjun Kharge and a lie detector test for Mamata Banerjee to uncover the truth behind the Kolkata crime

Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Prem Shukla addressed a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Friday. During the conference, Shri Shukla remarked that Himachal Pradesh has become the second most indebted state in terms of per capita debt. Rahul Gandhi had promised that money would come quickly, but while the money did not arrive, bankruptcy did swiftly. Shri Shukla also pointed out that in Karnataka, the prices of milk, petrol, diesel and water have been raised, while the cost of premium liquor has been reduced. It appears Congress prefers that people opt for cheaper alcohol rather than expensive water.

Shri Prem Shukla remarked that the Congress and INDI Alliance governments have become strongholds of corruption, and rapists. Wherever Congress goes, it brings loot and poverty, as evidenced by the administrations in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh. Recently, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh acknowledged the state's severe economic distress. Rahul Gandhi had promised that money would be quickly (khata-khat) deposited into people's accounts, but instead of that, their financial troubles were exposed swiftly (phata-phat). It has become clear that Himachal Pradesh is in the worst economic condition among the nine hilly states of India, and it currently ranks as the second most indebted state in terms of per capita debt.

Shri Shukla noted that Himachal Pradesh currently has a debt of ₹87,000 crore, and this amount is expected to surpass ₹1 lakh crore by the start of the next financial year. The state's annual budget is ₹58,444 crore, out of which ₹42,079 crore are spent each year on salaries, pensions, and repaying old debts. Although Congress won the election by promising to reinstate the old pension scheme, to this day, they have not had the courage to enforce it. The central government has introduced the UPS for central employees and any interested states, but Congress has failed without implementing the OPS.

Shri Shukla pointed out that Congress has similarly mishandled Karnataka. Because transportation employees' salaries were not credited to their accounts, they went on strike. The Congress government in Karnataka raised the prices of milk, petrol, diesel, and water, but recently lowered the prices of premium alcohol. During the French Revolution, reportedly said, "If you don't have bread, then eat cake." Is Congress trying to convey a similar message: if you can't afford expensive water, then drink alcohol instead? There was one Marie Antoinette in France and now there is a Congress government. The entire family of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is involved in the MUDA scam, and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is already facing investigations and prosecutions for various scams. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge's family is accused of a land scam involving the Siddharth Vihar Trust.

Shri Prem Shukla emphasized that the BJP is calling for a CBI investigation into the alleged scam involving Kharge and his son Priyank Kharge. The Siddharth Vihar Trust includes Mallikarjun Kharge, his wife Radha Bai Kharge, his son-in-law and Kalburgi MP Radhakrishna Doddamani, his son and Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge, and his other son Rahul Kharge. Despite 71 groups waiting for the aerospace park land, a 5-acre plot was granted to Mallikarjun Kharge as if it were a special privilege, following a single-window recommendation. Major Manivannan P, Chief Secretary of Karnataka's Social Welfare Department, had requested the plot for the state government.

Shri Shukla pointed out that instead of focusing on social welfare, the Karnataka government prioritized family interests. An electronic auction of the land could have brought in 15 to 20 crores in revenue, but this was not allowed. While the government claims it doesn’t have funds to pay employees, it seems to have 15-20 crores to spend on its national president. This clearly shows that wherever Congress goes, it brings corruption and poverty. Additionally, in Karnataka, the government recently ordered the removal of images of Shri Hanuman and Bhagwan Ram from lamp posts in Gangavathi, a site believed to be Shri Hanuman's birthplace. Why does Congress have such a problem with Bhagwan Ram, Hanuman, and Hindu symbols? Why is there such animosity from those who preach love towards Hindu icons?

Shri Prem Shukla noted that a grand illustration of Shri Ram Darbar was displayed on the first page of the Constitution copy that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar dedicated to the nation. He questioned whether Dr. Ambedkar and the entire Constituent Assembly, including Rahul Gandhi’s ancestor, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, was considered communal. Congress treated Haj House as a symbol of secularism, yet yielded to the SDPI's objections to the Ram Mandir or images of Ram Ji and Hanuman Ji's Gada. This situation is deeply unfortunate.

Shri Shukla pointed out that the Supreme Court reprimanded Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Despite Congress leaders frequently waving the Constitution, they show no genuine respect for constitutional institutions. Revanth Reddy’s disrespect towards the Supreme Court, particularly by suggesting that a recent bail decision was influenced by an agreement between the BJP and BRS, exemplifies this issue. Additionally, Congress has been criticized for insulting Parliament, disparaging constitutional bodies such as the Election Commission, and now making condemnable comments about the Supreme Court.

Shri Prem Shukla emphasized that Rahul Gandhi had previously made disparaging remarks about the country's constitutional institutions while abroad. Rahul Gandhi became the first Congress President to file an affidavit in the Supreme Court as an apology, which has demonstrated his dishonesty as affirmed by the Court. Rahul Gandhi has been a Supreme Court ‘certified liar’. Similarly, Mamata Banerjee's actions in Bengal are evident to the nation. As a partner in the INDI alliance, Mamata Banerjee has provoked the public and students in Bengal, claiming that their protests would reach Delhi through Assam and Odisha, and threatening that their passports and visas would be withheld.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Prem Shukla pointed out the striking silence of Rahul Gandhi, who often upholds the Constitution, regarding the language used by a Chief Minister in a constitutional position. Akhilesh Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav have also supported Mamata Banerjee, who is making such anarchic threats. The INDI alliance appears intent on destabilizing the country, with Rahul Gandhi having previously threatened to set it on fire. Similarly, during the elections, Akhilesh Yadav had also made threats of causing widespread unrest. The repeated rhetoric from INDI alliance leaders about igniting turmoil to protect the corrupt and criminals indicates that the Tukde-Tukde gang’s influence is deeply entrenched within them.

Shri Shukla stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party is calling for a CBI inquiry into Mallikarjun Kharge and for Mamata Banerjee to undergo a lie detector test to investigate the Kolkata case. The recently released audio tapes have demonstrated that the family of the rape victim was misled. An assistant superintendent at the hospital must have made these calls under the direction of a senior official or an influential person in the government.

Shri Prem Shukla pointed out that Mamata Banerjee holds the dual roles of Chief Minister and Health Minister in West Bengal. Mamata Banerjee promoting the principal of RG Kar Medical College further fuels suspicions of her involvement in the matter. Given Revanth Reddy’s contempt for the Supreme Court, it is incumbent upon the entire Congress party to issue an apology to the constitutional institutions of the country.
