SALIENT POINTS OF THE PRESS CONFERENCE OF THE SENIOR BJP LEADER SHRI RAVI SHANKAR PRASAD

 

Today the Supreme Court gave a historic verdict in a petition by Zakia Jafri which has once again exposed the conspiracies hatched against Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

Today the verdict of the Supreme Court is historic in many ways. The apex court ruled that there is no merit in the appeal therefore the appeal is rejected.

The Supreme Court further said -- "the proceedings have been pursued for last 16 years to keep the pot boiling, obviously for ulterior design".

The apex court also said -- “it appears to us that a coalesced effort of the disgruntled officials of the State of Gujarat along with others was to create sensation by making revelations which were false to their own knowledge."

The Supreme Court verdict is a clear proof that how the Congress and its ecosystem conspired through various commissions, so called tribunals, media trials and biased national and international NGOs by ordering and commissioning more than 60 investigations in the past 20 years.

The so called "cottage industry" which were highly prejudiced against the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has persistently conspired against him for the past 20 years, but every time they have failed miserably in their conspiracies.

Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, who was then the Chief Minister, has harassed through over a dozen investigating agencies. But every time Modi ji faced these investigations and every time he was given clean chit by investigation agencies.

The only motive of the Congress party and the UPA government through these conspiracies and biased investigations was to stop Shri Narendra Modi ji and to unnecessarily blame and defame him. But all these conspiracies against Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji failed.

The "cottage industry" also ran a highly malicious campaign that Shri Narendra Modi ji should not get the US visa. Today we are seeing that how relations between India and the US has reached a new heights under the dynamic leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

Today I want to ask the Congress party, the Left parties, so called liberal gangs and 'the Gujarat riot cottage industry' that for the past 20 years you have been running your campaign and agenda against Honourable Shri Narendra Modi ji, and every time you have failed miserably. For how long will you run your fake and bogus propaganda and peddle falsehood?

Today we need to tell the country about the historic verdict of the Honourable Supreme Court. Since 2001-02 a highly malicious and fake campaign has been running against Honourable Shri Narendra Modi ji which needs to end now. These prejudiced and biased people have lost on every front against Shri Narendra Modi ji -- from High Court to Supreme Court to the people's court.

In Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi ji has always been successful and emerged victorious. We won the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2019 under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi ji, and we will again win in 2024. We also won the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in 2017 and 2022 under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, and we will again win in 2022 and other elections to come.

During the past 20 years the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji never lost his calm and composure. In the 20 years his only mission has been first to ensure speedy development of Gujarat as it's Chief Minister and now as Prime Minister holistic development and growth of the country. He has worked persistently for the development and growth of the country and has also emerged unblemished from all investigations.

The SIT on the directions of Supreme Court carried out investigations in all cases. When Shri Narendra Modi ji was Chief Minister the SIT questioned him for 9 hours. But not a single Bharatiya Janata Party worker protested against this. The SIT after its marathon questioning and investigation gave clean chit to Honourable Shri Narendra Modi ji.

After Honourable Shri Narendra Modi ji got the clean chit, the Congress party, the Left parties and the so called liberal gang gave statements against it and also protested, which was also rejected by the court of Metropolitan Magistrate. After this the same gang approached the High Cour. The Gujarat High Court also rejected their statements and the case. Then they approached the Honourable Supreme Court which has now shown them the mirror by rejecting all their fake claims and malicious campaign against our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

The "cottage industry" ran a sponsored and fake campaign against the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for the past 20 years. It is to be noted that all the investigations against the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi ji, were ordered during the Congress led UPA government at the Centre.
