Hon’ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed Community Leaders in Hubballi, Karnataka on Sunday. During the event, Union Minister and BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Hubballi Shri Pralhad Joshi, BJP MLA Shri Arvind Bellad, among other leaders were present. In his address, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda emphasized the transformation in politics under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, highlighting the focus on development and accountability over corruption and dynastic politics. He praised the BJP's initiatives for their impact on the lives of the poor. Shri Nadda criticized the INDI Alliance for sheltering corrupt leaders.

Shri Nadda expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to visit and meet with community leaders. Shri Nadda appreciated the large gathering and conveyed that it reflects the public's affection for the Bharatiya Janata Party. He thanked the community leaders for supporting the BJP in the upcoming elections. Shri Nadda praised Karnataka for its rich culture, heritage, and traditions, as well as its efforts for technological innovations. Shri Nadda expressed his appreciation to the organizers for gathering over 70 different community leaders together. Shri Nadda encouraged the community leaders to rally their organizations and families to support the BJP.

Hon’ble BJP President emphasized that this election is not only about electing Shri Pralhad Joshi as a Member of Parliament, but it is also about achieving the goal of building ‘Viksit Bharat’ under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership. Shri Nadda expressed that  how to see a developed India, and how to come into the developed category is the mission of the Lok Sabha election 2024. Shri Nadda conveyed that in the past ten years the political narrative and culture have changed.

Shri Nadda stated that they are fortunate that in the past ten years, there has been a significant shift in the political narrative and culture. Previously, the prevailing sentiment was that nothing would change, all politicians were corrupt, and it didn't matter who was elected. This negative narrative extended to political parties and their leaders as well. However, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the political narrative has transformed. Now, there is confidence in the belief that change is possible, change is happening, and change has indeed occurred.

Hon’ble BJP President highlighted that as the BJP moves forward with the commitment of "Viksit Bharat," people now have faith in it. The narrative has shifted to "Ye Modi Ki Guarantee Hai Ki Guarantee Poori Hone Ki Guarantee Hai". Previously, the narrative was centered around politicians giving speeches, making promises, forgetting them and coming up with new promises in the next elections. Earlier, the trend was to fuel conflicts based on caste, religion and community for vote bank politics. Once in power, the focus was primarily on serving one's own community, caste or society, while neglecting other issues. However, under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, there's a focus on development, accountability, proactive governance and a politics of transparency where the government presents its report card to the people, showcasing both fulfilled and unfulfilled promises.

Shri Nadda stated that today, there has been a change in politics, and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has changed the way politics is conducted, which is why the opposition has become restless and deviated from the main issues. Previously, it used to be about community-centric governance, but under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, the focus is on ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’. Shri Narendra Modi has worked to strengthen India by empowering the rural, poor, marginalized, oppressed, Dalits, women, youth and farmers. Shri Nadda highlighted that PM Shri Narendra Modi talked about ‘GYAN’, in which, G stands for ‘Gareeb’, Y for ‘Yuva’, A for ‘Annadatta’ and N for ‘Naarishakti’, if these are strengthened, India becomes strong.

Hon’ble BJP President criticized the Congress party's approach to poverty alleviation. He mentioned that when Pandit Nehru and Indira Gandhi spoke of eradicating poverty, 50% and 60% of the population, respectively, were living in poverty. Shri Nadda also pointed out that Rajiv Gandhi himself admitted that only 15 paise of every rupee sent by the government reached the people. Shri Nadda accused Congress of failing to eliminate poverty over 60 years and criticized Rahul Gandhi's claim that he can end poverty in one stroke. Shri Nadda blamed this type of drawing-room politics for causing numerous challenges for the country.

Shri Nadda emphasized that the Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana is the largest scheme in the world for the poor. Under this program, 80 crore people are being provided with 5 kg of wheat or 5 kg of rice and 1 kg of pulses. Out of these 80 crore beneficiaries, 4 crore are poor individuals from Karnataka, including 15 lakh people from Hubballi. Shri Nadda mentioned that the scheme has made a significant impact by lifting 25 crore people out of poverty, according to the IMF and NITI Aayog. Shri Nadda also noted that India's extreme poverty, according to the IMF, is now less than 1%.

Hon’ble BJP President stated that the Congress party repeatedly used to promise to waive farmers' loans. Their approach to loan waivers meant that those who were consistently repaying their loans were left out, while habitual defaulters benefited from the waivers. The Congress party would typically allocate ₹57,000 crore for loan waivers. In contrast, under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, 12 crore people, including 53 lakh from Karnataka and 1.5 lakh from Hubballi, receive ₹2,000 every fourth month. Shri Nadda highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has so far transferred ₹2.5 lakh crore into farmers' bank accounts through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. India has changed in such a way that now the funds from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi are digitally transferred directly into farmers' accounts by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Shri Nadda stated that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, ‘Nal se Jal’ has been provided directly to the homes of 11 crore people. This includes 51 lakh tap connections in Karnataka and 1.5 lakh in Hubballi. He noted that previously, only two Indira Awas Yojana houses were provided in a village each year, but now Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has facilitated the construction of 4 crore pucca houses. Of these, 9 lakh have been sanctioned for Karnataka and 21,000 for Hubballi. Through the Ujjwala Yojana, gas connections have also been provided. Additionally, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has provided an annual health coverage of ₹5 lakh to 55 crore people (10 crore 74 lakh families) under Ayushman Bharat. Among them, 62 lakh individuals from Karnataka have been included in the scheme. Shri Nadda highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has built 12 crore toilets to safeguard the dignity of women.

Hon’ble BJP National President Shri JP Nadda stated that today, when discussing the economy, they observe that the Congress party talks about the economy without fact-checking. While countries like America, Europe, Japan, Russia and Australia are facing economic challenges, reports from Stanley Morgan and the IMF indicate that India is currently a bright spot in the global economy. Shri JP Nadda mentioned that during the UPA government's tenure, India ranked 11th in the world economy. Since Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi assumed office, India has risen to the 5th position through diligent efforts. Shri JP Nadda expressed confidence that if the citizens of India choose PM Shri Narendra Modi for a third term, the economy will rise to the 3rd position by 2027.

Shri Nadda highlighted that in the pharmaceutical industry, India's exports have surged by 138%, making India the world's largest economy. India has taken on the responsibility of providing medicines to the world, producing the most affordable and effective medications. Surpassing Japan, India has become the 3rd largest automobile market. Additionally, there has been a 106% growth in the petrochemical sector and India has advanced from the 4th to the 2nd position in Steel manufacturing. Shri Nadda pointed out the transformation in the mobile industry, where now, 97% of mobile manufacturing is done in India, a stark contrast from earlier when phones were labeled as "Made in China", "Made in Korea" or "Made in Japan." Furthermore, toy exports have increased by 2.5 times, propelling India to the third position in the toy industry's export market. This illustrates the changing face of India.

Hon’ble BJP President highlighted that the funding allocation for Karnataka has increased fourfold, along with a threefold increase in grant-in-aid. Shri Nadda mentioned the ongoing development projects such as the PM Mitra Mega Textile Park and the inauguration of the IIT in Dharwad. The integration of Hubballi and Dharwad into the Smart City initiative has also been accomplished. Additionally, the inauguration of the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre in Bangalore, which is the largest establishment outside the USA, has taken place in Karnataka. The largest helicopter manufacturing facility has been established in Tumkur, and significant infrastructure projects like the Bangalore-Chennai expressways and the Bangalore ring road have been initiated.

Shri Nadda also noted that the rail budget has increased fourfold, with Karnataka being home to the longest railway platform. Furthermore, under the Udaan scheme, airports in Bangalore, Hubballi, Mysore, Vidyanagar and Kalaburagi have been connected. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's promotion of "HIRA" – Highways, Internetways, Railways and Airways – has been instrumental in advancing infrastructure development. Religious tourism has also been promoted, and three crore pucca houses will be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the next five years, ensuring that no one lives in a makeshift shelter. Free rations will be provided for the next five years under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will continue for the next five years. The Prime Minister has decided to empower three crore women through self-help groups, making them "Lakhpati Didis," with their income exceeding one lakh rupees.

Hon’ble BJP President also noted that under the Ayushman Yojana, transgender individuals aged 70 and above will be provided with health coverage of up to ₹5 lakh. Shri Nadda stated that India is now a member of every international platform, whether it be the G7, G20 or BRICS, showcasing proactive representation. Shri Nadda stated that whenever anyone internationally used to comment on India, it would often be in the context of India-Pakistan. Now, due to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, no one in the international community associates India with Pakistan in any language. Shri Nadda stated that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, it was ordered that any attack would be met with a response from the same location. Following the Uri attack, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi declared that India would retaliate within ten days, and a surgical strike was conducted inside Pakistan. After the Pulwama attack, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi stated that Pakistan had made a grave mistake and would have to pay the price for it, leading to an air strike within ten days. This has become the image of India.

Shri Nadda stated that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has said from the Red Fort that corruption is akin to robbing the pockets of the poor in the country. Corruption will not be tolerated in the country and swift action will be taken. However, members of the INDI Alliance seek to protect the corrupt. PM Shri Narendra Modi says ‘Bhrashtachar Hatao’, while the members of the INDI Alliance advocate ‘Bhrashtachari Bachao’. Shri Nadda emphasized that on one hand, there are the family-based parties of the INDI Alliance, while on the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party's dedicated karyakartas, who come from ordinary families, are advancing the country's politics. Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda mentioned that the leaders of these family-based parties include Farooq and Omar Abdullah, Mufti Mohammad and Mehbooba Mufti, Sukhbir Singh Badal and the Chautalas, Mulayam and Akhilesh-Dimple, Lalu-Rabri and Tejashwi-Tej Pratap, Mamata and Abhishek, KCR and KTR-Kavita, Karunanidhi, Stalin, Udhayanidhi, Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule, Uddhav and Aditya, and Sonia-Rahul-Priyanka.

Hon’ble President underscored that under the Congress government, there were various scams such as the coal, rice, sugar, submarine, Agustawestland, 2G-3G and Commonwealth Games scam. Under Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party government, there were the Gomti Riverfront, laptop and food grain scams. Lalu Prasad Yadav was involved in the fodder, the job-for-land and the Tar (Alkatra) scam. Mamata Banerjee was involved in the teacher recruitment scam, while KCR's daughter, Kavitha, was implicated in the liquor scam. Stalin and Udhayanidhi engaged in corruption, resulting in an income of ₹1.32 lakh crore. DMK leaders were involved in the sand scam, while TMC leaders and ministers were involved in the teacher recruitment scam.

Shri Nadda emphasized that Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, P. Chidambaram, Karti Chidambaram, Sanjay Singh, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, Azam Khan, TMC and DMK leaders are either in jail or out on bail. All of these are corrupt, family-based parties. Shri Nadda appealed to the public to elect BJP candidate Shri Pralhad Joshi with a large margin and to re-elect Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third term.
