Salient points of the speech given by Hon’ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda while addressing Gram Panchayat Presidents and Vice Presidents Samavesh in Chitradurga, Karnataka

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today exhorted the power of rural leaders of Karnataka to dedicate themselves and play a big role in creation of 'New India' and the development and growth of Karnataka in Chitradurga. Shri Nadda also addressed the meeting of BJP OBC Morcha. Those present at the meeting included Karnataka Chief Minister Shri B Bommai, BJP state President Shri N Katil, Union Minister Shri A Narayan Swamy and BJP General Secretary and state incharge Shri Arun Singh.

 

Key points:

 

●       This is the golden period of development of our panchayat. Today under the leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji panchayats are today getting maximum financial aid. It is the responsibility of our panchayat leaders to ensure that all this money is properly utilized and the poor should get benefitted from it.

 

●       Agnipath is a revolutionary scheme which will give more strength to our armed forces. It will not only help our youth to serve the army but also give them better job and growth opportunities in their lives.

 

●       There are some negative and disruptive forces in our country which do not want reforms in our armed forces and that is why they are misleading and misleading our youth. But we want our youth to serve the nation and have the best in their lives. The Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to welfare and empowerment of our youth.

 

●       I appeal to the youth that they should shun the path of agitation and violence. They should first study and understand the scheme and see for themselves how good and beneficial it is for them and their growth. The scheme is giving them so many opportunities. Our youth should trust and have faith in our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji that whatever he is doing is good for our youth and our country.

 

●       Our Chief Minister in Karnataka has already announced that the BJP  government will give preference to Agniveers in state level jobs. Agnipath scheme is a game changer for our youth which will give them tremendous opportunities and  make their future bright.

 

●       We have seen misrule of the Congress government. The Congress government did not provide any financial aid to panchayats and rural development. But under the Narendra Modi Government each panchayat is getting aid worth crores which has changed the rural landscape.

 

●       Earlier the money sent from the Centre and meant for panchayats were used somehow else by the Congress government . But today there is no diversion of panchayat funds and all money sent from Delhi to Karnataka is all utilized for the growth and development of our panchayats. Earlier the average per person expenditure on development of panchayats was Rs.54 which under the Narendra Modi Government has gone up to Rs.674 which clearly shows the commitment of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji towards rural development.

 

●       Today Karnataka is free from open defecation. Total 3,585 villages have been connected with solid waste management. Karnataka is the first state to have its rural sanitation policy.

 

●       The Bharatiya Janata Party believes that every person particularly those living in rural areas should get social security. The Narendra Modi Government is working in this direction and its proof is all its important schemes like Atal Pension Yojna, Pradhanmantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojna, Pradhanmantri Jeevan Suraksha Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Yojna. It is the responsibility of our panchayat leaders that all people living in villages and rural areas should get enrolled in these schemes so that they could get its benefits and their lives could improve, which is envisaged by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji through these schemes. It is our duty that the poorest of the poor should get benefitted from all our schemes.

 

●       Today over 4 crore people of Karnataka are benefiting from the Pradhanmantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojna. Over 4 crore people have got ration cards in the state .  For the development of the fisheries sector in the state a special scheme is being run in the state with an expenditure of Rs 250 crores.

 

●       Today Karnataka is No. 1 in FDI . Karnataka is today exporting spices worth $4 billion and coffee worth $1billion. All these are records which showcase the growth and development story of Karnataka under the Bharatiya Janata Party government being run under the leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

 

●       Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in his 7 years has done so much work which was unimaginable under the previous regimes. He has given a clear message to the world that no one can play with the security and safety of our country. He has brought revolution in each and every sector of governance.
