●       Earlier in India politics was purely based on vote bank, but today under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the country now believes and supports the politics of growth and development. The politics of our country has changed from vote bank culture to report card culture. The Narendra Modi Government runs on the P2G2 concept, which means "Pro Poor and Good Governance".

 

●       Under the dynamic and decisive leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji India has taken a big leap in all aspects of growth and development. The Narendra Modi Government has ensured that the benefits of all its schemes and programmes reach the poorest of the poor. For the development, growth and progress of Andhra Pradesh it is very important that the "Lotus" should once again bloom in the nation and in the state.

 

●       Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has laid the foundation stone of various development and infrastructure projects worth over 10,500 crores in Visakhapatnam. AIIMS has come up in Mangalagiri in Andhra Pradesh with an expenditure of over Rs 1600 crores, while IIM is also coming up in the state with an investment of around Rs 800 crores.

 

●       The transformation and upgradation of Tirupati railway station is currently going on with an expenditure of over Rs 300 crores. IIT is coming up in Tirupati, while the prestigious Indian Institute of Science Education is also coming up with an investment of Rs 1491 crores in Andhra Pradesh. This is the commitment and dedication of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji towards the people of Andhra Pradesh.

 

●       The Bharatiya Janata Party believes in playing the role of constructive opposition in Andhra Pradesh. The YSR government is the most corrupt government which is involved in several big scams which include mines scam, liquor scam, and education scam. While the state government is busy in doing massive corruption and is usurping the rights and privileges of the people of the state, our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is persistently trying for the development, growth, progress and prosperity of Andhra Pradesh and its people.

 

●       Unfortunately, till date Amravati has not been developed as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh has become a state without any capital, which is a matter of great shame. The state has no law and order as crime is rampant. The law enforcement agencies in the state are nowhere to be seen. All this reflects the sorry state of affairs in Andhra Pradesh.

 

●       The Narendra Modi Government is regularly paying its contribution required for the development and progress of the state, but the Andhra Pradesh government is not ready to invest its share needed for the growth and progress of the state. While the Narendra Modi Government is working with full commitment and transparency, the YSR government is deeply involved in corruption and mis-governance.

 

●       It is due to the planning, execution and foresight of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji that India has been successful in reducing its poverty line and as a result the number of people living under the poverty line has reduced from 10 per cent to 22 percent while the extreme poverty line has remained below 1 per cent. This is the big achievement of the Narendra Modi Government which has been acknowledged by top international bodies.

 

●       Under various DBT schemes the Narendra Modi Government has also successfully transferred over Rs 27 lakh crores directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of various government schemes and programmes. This has not only eliminated middlemen and commission agents from the government schemes but has also wiped out 2.73 crore fake beneficiaries registered under various government schemes and programmes.

 

●       Today India is the fastest growing economy in the world. In 2014 before the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, India's economy was at 10th position, but in the past nine years it has jumped to 5th position. Our exports are at an all-time high level. This has all been achieved under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi ji.

 

●       Earlier India used to import 92 per cent of its mobile phones and we were highly dependent on imports, but today under the Narendra Modi Government we are producing mobile phones in the country and meeting around 97 percent of our requirements due to high levels of domestic production. Now even Apple stores have started opening in India. Today India is the second largest producer of steel in the world, while in automobile manufacturing our country stands at third position globally. India is a fast emerging global economic superpower and all this has been made possible due to the foresight, planning and hard work of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.
