SALIENT POINTS OF THE SPEECH OF THE BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI GIVEN TODAY WHILE ADDRESSING A MASSIVE PUBLIC RALLY AT RAJA MAHENDRAVARAM IN ANDHRA PRADESH

 

If we recall the last 70 years of history of our country, we will find that power situation was pathetic, our villages had no proper education and healthcare facilities, there was no proper connectivity, poor had no medical insurance coverage, governments were mired in corruption and nepotism, there was no focus on growth and development. Corruption had become way of life and people used to think nothing was possible.

 

But since our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji formed government in 2014 India has seen the journey of transformation and today people of the country has so much trust and faith on Modi ji that they say 'Modi hai to mumkin hai' (everything is possible under Modi ji). Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has changed the political culture of the country. Under his leadership people have shunned politics of casteism, communalism, appeasement, dynasty and nepotism. Modi ji has established the politics of development, growth, progress and prosperity. He has empowered all sections of our society -- villagers and farmers, poor and weaker sections, backward classes and Dalits, women and youth, workers and labourers.

 

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has challenged terrorism by adopting zero tolerance policy against terrorism. He has resolved old and perennial problems which include Ram Temple dispute, scrapping of Article 370 , tripple talaq for Muslim women among others.

 

Earlier programmes and policies used to be formulated on papers and used to remain on papers. But in the Narendra Modi Government projects are sanctioned and implemented strictly in time bound manner.

 

Before our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji took over the charge at the Centre there were only 65-70 start-up, but today India has over 70,000 start-ups. Out of these over 100 have already become Unicorns . India today is the Start-up Capital of the world. Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji wants to create our youth job creators and not job seekers. In Exports also we have created record by clocking $ 418 billion which is a record since our Independence.

 

 Under the dynamic leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji that in the last 8 years we have been able to bring 12 per cent people out of the poverty line. Today just less than 10 per cent of Indians are living below poverty line. Despite the Corona pandemic our extreme poverty level has been below 0.8 per cent. This is the real face of changing India.

 

Under the leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji India developed two Made In India vaccines leaving everyone across the world surprised. India also created record by carrying out the world's largest and fastest vaccination programme . Till today over 194 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country. India has helped several countries by providing them Made In India vaccines and also other necessary medical aid during the Corona pandemic. Honourable Prime Minister provided free corona vaccines to 48 countries including our neighbours under 'Vaccine Maitri' initiative.

 

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government is doing politics of vendetta and has totally ignored the people of the state.

 

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government is trying to oppress the Opposition parties, particularly the Bharatiya Janata Party. But I want to tell Jagan Mohan Reddy that no one stop the 'lotus' to blossom in the state. The Bharatiya Janata Party will emerge victorious and the 'lotus' will bloom in Andhra Pradesh.

 

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh has failed miserably on all fronts -- governance, law and order, employment generation, development, social welfare. It is deeply engaged in appeasement, corruption, nepotism and mafia raj. Industrial and economic development has collapsed. The state is buried under the debt of Rs 8 lakh crores and it is the people of the state who are suffering.

 

The Andhra Pradesh government failed to promote Telugu language. It also did not take care of the aspirations of Dalits, backward and oppressed classes, poor, women and youth of the state.

 

The Narendra Modi Government has always taken care of the needs and aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh. In 2014-15 the Narendra Modi Government gave Andhra Pradesh Rs 27194 crore which has been increased to  Rs 77538 crore in 2021-22.

 

The NHAI last year allocated Rs 1 lakh crore out of which Rs 25973 crore was given to Andhra Pradesh, which means 28 per cent of the total allocation. In Andhra Pradesh 20.72 lakh homes for poor have been sanctioned under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana. The Narendra Modi Government has also given prestigious institutions to Andhra Pradesh which include AIIMS, IIT, NIT, Indian Institute of Science and Education, Information Institute of Technology, Design and Manufacturing; Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy.

 

Due to the Narendra Modi Government foreign and domestic investments to the tune of Rs 8.17 lakh crores is in the pipeline.

 

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has taken special care of Andhra Pradesh which is incomparable to previous governments. But the Andhra Pradesh government under Jagan Mohan Reddy is incompetent and indecisive while the law and order situation in the state has collapses. As a result all the money and aid sent to Andhra Pradesh by the Narendra Modi Government is being misused and diverted and is being used in unproductive ways. Now the time has come where the Jagan Mohan Reddy government will be uprooted from the state in a democratic manner and the Bharatiya Janata Party government will be formed under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

 

On one hand we have the highly corrupt state government in Andhra Pradesh led by Jagan Mohan Reddy. Today Andhra Pradesh is known for land mafia, liquor mafia, sand and mining mafia.

 

Time has come to form the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. The Narendra Modi Government at the Centre will fulfill wishes and aspirations of the people of the state.
