The people of Himachal Pradesh have already decided to change the electoral tradition of the elections in the state and once again form the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. The Congress party always makes false promises, but it is the Bharatiya Janata Party which fulfils all its promises.

The Bharatiya Janata Party works for the empowerment and upliftment of all sections of our society -- villagers, farmers, poor and weaker sections, women and youth, Dalits and Adivasis. But the Congress party believes in the welfare of just one family. The basic ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party is "Sabka Saath - Sabka Vikas - Sabka Vishwas and Sabha Prayas ". Whereas the basis ideology is corruption and commission.

The people of Himachal Pradesh say in the past 8 years the number of times our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has come to the state, during the Congress rule of 60 years Prime Ministers failed to make so many visits to the state. Whenever Himachal Pradesh and its people have felt need of anything, our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has always fulfilled their demands and stood with them. There is a special bond between our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and the people of Himachal Pradesh.

The Congress party has always fooled and cheated the people of Himachal Pradesh. The Congress party government not only withdrew special category status given to Himachal Pradesh but also ended industrial package given by our beloved Prime Minister late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji . This clearly tell us how much the Congress party cares for Himachal Pradesh and its people?

The Congress party government under Chief Minister Veerbhadra Singh did not provide land for railway line till Leh which is very crucial for the security of our nation. It is the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh under Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur which has already provided land for this highly important and ambitious project and the work on this strategically important rail project has already begun.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has once again given special category status to Himachal Pradesh and has also announced various projects which has given a new dimension to the growth and development of the state. This reflects the vision and mission of the Bharatiya Janata Party government.

The Congress party and its leaders have always built castles in the air for the people of Himachal Pradesh, the Congress party government has never fulfilled any aspiration and demand of the people of the state. The Bharatiya Janata Party government has always lived up to the expectations of the people of Himachal Pradesh. The amount of work done by the Congress party government in the past 60 years is far less than what the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party has done under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

There are numerous important development projects that have come up during the Bharatiya Janata Party government which include a state of the art AIIMS that has come up in Bilaspur on which Rs 1500 crores were spent, 6 new medical colleges and Hydro Engineering College, while Una will soon have Bulk Drug Park and Nalagarh will have Medical Device Park. Similarly the Vande Bharat Express train has given superfast connectivity to Himachal Pradesh.

In the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the speed of development and growth has also doubled. Women have been empowered through the Ujjwala Yojna by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji while the Jai Ram Thakur government has given Mukhyamantri Grahni Suraksha Yojna to the women of Himachal Pradesh. Almost 90% households in the state have been connected with piped water connection.

During the Congress party government common man used to be cheated in the name of subsidy and were shown fake dreams of growth and development. For the first time the people of country and Himachal Pradesh have experienced and seen there is a government which is working for the people of the country specially for poor and weaker sections of our society.

When a gardener is honest and hardworking, his garden blossoms, but when a gardener is corrupt and incompetent, his garden is ruined. This is the basic difference between the Bharatiya Janata Party and other parties. That is why my appeal to the people of Himachal Pradesh is that make the right decision and once again form the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party government. When a wrong button is pressed on EVMs, it leads to stalling of development and growth. That is why people of Himachal Pradesh will press the right button to ensure that the progress, development and growth of the state continue unhindered.
