Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda performed puja at the Maya Devi Mandir in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, on Friday. Following this, Shri Nadda met sadhus and saints, sought their blessings, and addressed the Saint Ashirvad Samaroh. In his address, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has eradicated the symbols of slavery in the country and has initiated cultural revival and restoration of religious sites. Shri Nadda criticized opposition parties for weakening the country's spiritual power and not supporting virtuous forces.

During the event, BJP National General Secretary Shri Dushyant Gautam, BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Haridwar Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat were also present.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda stated that visiting Uttarakhand, known as Devbhoomi, is a privilege. Shri Nadda pointed out that the current era signaled a time of spiritual awakening and encountering esteemed sadhus during the auspicious period is also fortunate. Shri Nadda further noted that there has been abundant support and blessings for the ongoing political efforts led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the nation's progress and development.

Shri Nadda stated that Shri Narendra Modi has clearly conveyed that this era belongs to India. In the last 10 years, whether in the spiritual world or the worldly realm, the country has witnessed a period of transformation. A decade ago, everyone was somehow engulfed in negative sentiments, and the leadership of the country lacked direction and vision. Therefore, there was a time when India was seen lagging behind, and the previous leadership could not harness the strength of positive energies. However, under Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, the country has witnessed a changing phase.

Shri Nadda asserted that from domestic politics to foreign policy, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has unfurled India's flag to greater heights and propelled Indian ideologies forward.  Under Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, the 21st century marks the awakening era of India. Therefore, it has only been possible now that after 500 years of struggle, the foundation of the battle, which was laid in the soil of Haridwar, has been realized, and the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla has been witnessed in Ayodhya.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda stated that it is a matter of joy that there was a time when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi used to keep himself away from temples and rituals, but during the time of Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla, they have witnessed after a rigorous, pure 11-day fasting he did  the Pran Pratishtha. This is a changing era, so it can be said that this era is the awakening phase of 21st century India. Shri Nadda mentioned observing the Kashi-Tamil sangam, highlighting the broad-minded perspective. Citizens are aware of millions of people coming from the south since ancient times for the darshan of Baba Kashi Vishwanath, but India has also seen attempts to create a divide between the North and the South due to political and narrow-minded thinking. However, India's successful Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has given a permanent form to the Kashi-Tamil Sangam, showing that the North and the South are one, and India is one motherland.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda mentioned that it is said that India's awakened state can be attributed to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who has also seen an empowered India, recalling an incident, Shri Nadda referred to Mountbatten's remark during the transfer of power from Jawaharlal Nehru, questioning the process of power transition. At that time, India’s Prime Minister Nehru, who distanced himself from the spiritual and cultural aspects, remarked that there was no system in place. However, C. Rajagopalachari intervened, asserting that there indeed was a system, and he brought the saints from the Chola dynasty to Delhi, symbolizing the tradition of Sengol, where the king was reminded that he should not only be a ruler but also a protector of dharma, and he must lead the dharma forward. Unfortunately, Nehru initially kept the sengol artifact in his house, later transferring it to the sengol Museum, known as "Nehru's walking stick." Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi brought it back and performed a ceremony in Delhi with the saints from the Chola dynasty. Now, the Sengol, which symbolizes the protection of dharma, is displayed in the new Parliament of India, alongside the Lok Sabha Speaker. This exemplifies the awakened India.

BjP National President Shri Nadda highlighted that earlier when one used to visit Kashi Vishwanath, the narrow lanes posed difficulties, but Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi revitalized Kashi Vishwanath Temple by constructing the Kashi corridor, rejuvenating the temple. He also reinstated Kedarnath Dham and Mahakal in Ujjain, preserving their essence. Additionally, efforts were made to safeguard cultural heritage and remove symbols of servitude, advancing India's pride and culture. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's endeavors require the support of the people's positive energies.

Shri Nadda stated that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, neglected religious sites have been brought back into the mainstream, such as the reconstruction of Kedarnath Dham, Badrinath, and the reinstallation of Adi Shankaracharya's statue. Additionally, in Uttarakhand, efforts led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi are underway for the renovation and reconstruction of sacred sites likeJageshwar Dham in Almora, Haat Kalika in Pithoragarh, and Naina Devi in Nainital. Furthermore, the people of India have initiated the reconstruction of temples in Jammu and Kashmir that were destroyed by invaders.

Shri Nadda highlighted that it was under Shri Narendra Modi's leadership that the locks of the Shital Nath Temple were opened after 31 years. Shri Narendra Modi has undertaken the task of advancing new dimensions for development from every perspective. Shri Nadda emphasized that in Saudi Arabia, a magnificent BAPS Mandir has been built, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Nadda conveyed that PMShri Narendra Modi also undertook the granting of Indian citizenship to Hindu, Christian, Jain, and Sikh refugees who were displaced from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan due to religious reasons.

Shri Nadda stated that under Shri Narendra Modi's governance, efforts have been made to empower villages, the poor, marginalized, oppressed, deprived, Dalits, women, and Dalit communities for the country's development. Shri Nadda pointed out that opposition parties have attempted to divide the public in castes through various means, but Shri Narendra Modi has emphasized on GYAN (Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata, Naari Shakti) and has shown that progress of these sectors will lead the country forward. Shri Nadda conveyed to the saints that their continuous devotion and contemplation day and night continuously empower Shri Narendra Modi, and the power is dedicated for the welfare of society, which will lead the country forward.

Shri Nadda claimed that Shri Narendra Modi invokes the blessings of the saints in every moment for the nation, while some individuals choose to exploit religion during election time. They never visit temples but during elections, they go to temples wearing ‘Janeu’, even though they may not know how to wear them in the correct way. The blessing of the public should always be towards righteousness, where the upliftment of the nation occurs in a positive environment while wishing for societal welfare.

Shri Nadda, highlighting the achievements of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership over the past decade under the Bharatiya Janata Party, stated that the Modi-led government has ushered in an era of integrity in India. Shri Nadda appealed to the public to extend their blessings and support to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Additionally, Shri Nadda urged the public to contribute in the fulfillment of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Sabka Saath,Sabkavikas,Sabka Vishwas , Sabka prayas’.
