Hon’ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda held three grand road shows in Ramanathapuram, Tenkasi, and Perambalur in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. Shri Nadda campaigned for BJP Lok Sabha candidates Shri O Panneerselvam in Ramanathapuram, Shri John Pandyan in Tenkasi, and Dr. TR Parivendhar in Perambalur. A huge crowd gathered during these road shows and while addressing the gathering, Shri Nadda called upon the public to ensure a landslide victory for the NDA in Tamil Nadu this time.

 

Shri Nadda expressed that the energetic response from the crowd signifies their decision to elect Shri O. Panneerselvam as Member of Parliament. Shri JP Nadda praised Shri Panneerselvam as a mature and experienced leader dedicated to Tamil Nadu's welfare, qualities that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi seeks in parliament. He emphasized that the election is not merely about electing Shri O Panneerselvam, but it's also about propelling India towards becoming a developed nation. He underscored the NDA's ambition to secure over 400 seats to realize this vision.

 

Referring to the work of the BJP government in the last 10 years, Hon’ble National President said that the empowerment and strengthening of rural areas to the dynamic leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Nadda highlighted various initiatives like the construction of toilets under the Swachh Bharat Mission, distribution of gas connections through the Ujjwala Yojana, and access to healthcare through Ayushman Bharat, which have empowered women and uplifted the poor. Under the Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana, free ration is provided to the needy. Shri Nadda underscored that under PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty. Shri JP Nadda stated that ‘Modi ki guarantee’ ensures the fulfillment of every guarantee. Shri JP Nadda emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi guaranteed the abrogation of Article 370 and the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Shri Modi reiterated that PM Shri Modi has fulfilled both guarantees, and now Ram Lalla resides in his grand temple. PM Shri Narendra Modi fulfilled his promise to abolish Triple Talaq, thereby providing dignity to Muslim women. Shri Nadda stated that the policies of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the condition of rural roads has significantly improved. Furthermore, in line with the Digital India initiative, over 2 lakh villages are now connected with optical fiber, enhancing connectivity and access to digital services in rural areas.

Shri Nadda affirmed that PM Shri Narendra Modi has always spoken about 'One Nation, One Election', 'One Nation, One Ration Card', and 'One Nation, One Health Card'. PM Shri Narendra Modi has consistently highlighted the rich Tamil culture and language and has showcased them on the international stage.

 

Hon’ble National President emphasized Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's recognition of Tamil Nadu's rich culture and language globally, citing his recitation of verses by renowned poet Kaniyan at the United Nations General Assembly. He praised PM Shri Narendra Modi's symbolic gesture of installing the 'Holy Sengol' in the New Parliament building, reflecting reverence for Tamil culture. Additionally, Shri Nadda lauded PM Shri Narendra Modi's initiatives like 'Kashi Tamil Sangamam' to foster cultural exchange between Kashi and Tamil Nadu. He criticized INC MP Rahul Gandhi for his inaction against DK Suresh's advocacy for a North-South divide, highlighting Rahul Gandhi's double standards. Shri Nadda condemned Rahul Gandhi's alignment with the Tukde Tukde gang while blaming PM Shri Narendra Modi, stating that such narrow-mindedness would not be tolerated by the people of Tamil Nadu.
