Salient points of the speech of Hon’ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda while addressing State BJP Executive Meeting in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh

Hon’ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash addressed the Arunachal Pradesh State BJP Executive Meeting at State Banquet Hall in Itanagar on Thursday and called the office bearers to bloom lotus on all the Lok Sabha seats with the cooperation of the people in Arunachal Pradesh under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu, State Party President Shri Biyuram Wahge, Union Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju were present during the program. Let it be known that Shri Nadda is on a two-day visit to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh to take stock of pre-poll preparations. The visit of National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda to Arunachal Pradesh focused on preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Earlier today, Shri Nadda received a warm welcome at Donyi Polo Airport in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh after he landed in Arunachal Pradesh.

Key points of speech:

Arunachal Pradesh thrives in a 3D framework - Decisive Leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Implementation by our Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu, and Doorstep Delivery of all the government schemes.

Congress and the UPA did nothing except playing political games with you. Congress means 'Division'. Congress means 'Divide and Rule'. Congress means 'Vote-Bank Politics'.

Congress does 'Rajneeti', but under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi Ji, we do 'Rashtraneeti'! Our vision is to leave no one behind; our ultimate motto is 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas'.

From the ULFA to Bodo Accord issue, all big disputes have been settled under the strong leadership of PM Modi Ji. Notably, the militants' havens in Northeast India have now chosen the path of peace; they have joined the mainstream.

I urge you all to 'recognise' and 'understand' the Congress Party well. It's not the 'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra', but the 'Bharat Todo Anyaya Yatra' that this so called I.N.DI Alliance is on. Congress has always worked to break India and to destroy India. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra seems divisive.

I.N.D.I. Alliance is not a genuine coalition but only a pact based on two aspects, i.e., Parivar and Property, whose leaders have no other significant purpose rather than safeguarding family and wealth.

The previous governments badly ignored Northeast India. The development that was supposed to happen here did not happen for a long time. So, it becomes our duty to do what they did not do, and to do what we are ourselves supposed to do. We have, thus, got the double-responsibility!

Under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, BJP prioritises national welfare with the slogan 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabha Prayaas,' emphasising unity and development for all, regardless of caste or religion. Under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's governance, the North East has witnessed substantial development in roadways, highways, and infrastructure, with an allocation of ₹8,139.50 crore.

In the past, India was viewed with pity by people abroad; however, today, the country commands respect due to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's global leadership image. The UPA government consistently engaged in public politics solely for political gains.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 4 crore houses have been built nationwide, including 45,000 in Arunachal Pradesh. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi initiated the construction of 12 crore toilets nationwide, including 1.48 lakh toilets in Arunachal Pradesh, leading to 123 villages achieving ODF status.

Today, I am glad to be present in the 'Land of the Rising Sun'. First of all, I thank you all for this warm and wonderful welcome. I must say that Arunachal Pradesh is a 'Land of Discipline'.

Farooq Abdullah runs 'Parivar Ki Party'... Jagan Mohan Reddy runs 'Parivar ki Party'... TDP is 'Parivar Ki Party'... And leaders who are running away from ED investigations are finding their way in the INDI Alliance. What does this all signify? INDI Alliance is nothing but an alliance formed for 'Property' and 'Parivar'.

Our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in his Independence Day speech from the Red Fort, emphasized the importance of cleanliness. He recalled that when the Congress party laughed at the idea of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi talking about cleanliness from the Red Fort, it revealed their lack of understanding about India. Unlike the Congress, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi recognized the challenges faced by village women and children who had to go to fields for daily routine activities. Approximately 12 crore toilets including 1.48 lakh toilets in Arunachal Pradesh were built in 9 years.

No one held concern for the people of Arunachal Pradesh but the acknowledgement was solely directed by Shri Narendra Modi and his government. Approximately ₹4800 crores were allocated under the Vibrant Village Programme. During the UPA governance, the perspective on Arunachal Pradesh was that it represented the last village of the country. However, Modi has redefined it, referring to it as the first village of the country.

There has been significant development in progress to enhance sectors such as highways, internet, railways, airports, and telecom. In the context of the double-engine government, efforts are being made to further enhance doorstep delivery, all of which is accompanied by decisive leadership and drastic development.

The first batch of MBBS students had successfully passed from the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences. The Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana has extended coverage to 1.3 lakh individuals, with 90 thousand beneficiaries supported by the central government, while the state government assumes responsibility for the remaining recipients.

Notably, the region has secured Geographical Indication (GI) tags for seven distinct products, encompassing handmade carpets, Adi Kekir (ginger), Wancho wooden craft, Khamti Rice, Yak Churpi, and Arunachal Orange. Arunachal Pradesh has achieved significant milestones in its development, contributing to a visible transformation in the region. Today, the landscape reflects the positive and substantial changes taking place.

We are members and karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party, our commitment is guided by the principle that is 'Nation First, Party Next, Self Last.' Our focus is on working with the country in mind, recognizing that the party exists to serve the nation.

After the abrogation of Article 370, India became stronger and more united, but the Congress party opposed that move. Congress should explain about the secret agreement between the Congress and the Communist Party of China. Congress is more inclined towards maintaining secrecy and keeping India in the dark and dividing it rather than uniting it.

Slogans raised in JNU, such as 'Afzal hum sharminda hain, Tere qatil zinda hain' and 'Bharat tere tukde honge...Inshaallah Inshaallah,' and very next day, Rahul Gandhi was observed joining hands and supporting the individuals associated with those slogans. The Congress party's involvement in the illegal settlement of Rohingya amounts to treason. Congress leaders demanded proof of surgical strikes & air strikes.

In 1984, during the leadership of the Congress party, riots occurred where Sikhs were burnt alive. The Prime Minister of that time also remarked that when a big tree falls, the earth shakes. The Congress party has treated the people unfairly, undermined governments, and engaged in harmful actions. The insurgency during the Congress governance ceased upon the arrival of the BJP government, ushering in a period of peace in Arunachal Pradesh.
