Salient Points of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji address at a public meeting in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh

The people of Purvanchal, who were neglected by the SP-Congress alliance for decades, are now eagerly seeking each vote. The enthusiasm of the people in Ghazipur (Uttar Pradesh) signifies the resounding victory of the BJP-NDA

*************

INDI Alliance betrayed Ghazipur. After independence, Congress vowed not to develop this area, leaving its people to suffocate in poverty

*************

The issue of Ghazipur was first highlighted by Gahmari Babu, who informed Nehru Ji about the dire conditions, explaining how people had to collect wheat from cow dung to eat. However, even in this, the Congress party saw political opportunities. Political dramas ensued, the Patel Commission was formed, a report was produced, but the file was left to gather dust

*************

Congress has mastered the art of delaying work and denying rights, including not allowing our soldiers to receive One Rank, One Pension, it was only implemented when Modi came into power

*************

Whether in Ghazipur (UP) or across the entire country, the leaders of dynastic parties-built palace after palace while villagers, the poor, farmers, laborers, Dalits, and the underprivileged continued to struggle for life's basic necessities

*************

During the Samajwadi Party era, UP was plagued by mafia openly roaming with red lights, issuing threats to the law from open jeeps, and opponents being gunned down in broad daylight. Riots had become synonymous with the state

*************

The Shehzade of SP once vowed to bar the mafia's influence, but instead, he capitulated to their power. SP actively supported and endorsed mafia elements, even offering them political tickets

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed public meetings in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Hon’ble Shri Modi Ji condemned the Congress, INDI Alliance and the Samajwadi Party for their inability to uphold law and order in Uttar Pradesh and their engagement in corrupt practices. During the event, Uttar Pradesh CM Shri Yogi Adityanath, Ghazipur Lok Sabha Candidate Shri Parasnath Rai and others were present.

Shri Modi paid reverence to Mata Kamakhya and sought blessings from the mothers, sisters, and people of Ghazipur. The overwhelming support from Ghazipur and all of Uttar Pradesh, with the crowd enthusiastically chanting "Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar." Ghazipur's historical significance and valour, mentioning renowned figures like Dr Shiv Pujan Rai, Shri Bhagwat Mishra, Veer Abdul Hameed, and Brigadier Usman. The bravery emanated from Gahmar village, noting that every household produces heroes, a pride unique to Ghazipur. A significant incident that demonstrates the betrayal by the INDI Alliance. After independence, Congress neglected the region's development, leaving its people to struggle in poverty. Recounting how Gahamari Babu, with tears in his eyes, informed Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru about the dire conditions in Ghazipur, where people sifted through animal dung for wheat. Congress, instead of addressing the issues, used them for political drama, forming the Patel Commission whose recommendations were never implemented.

Hon'ble Prime Minister expressed satisfaction that the Modi government is now providing free rations to every poor person, ensuring no one went hungry during the severe COVID-19 crisis. The government spent lakhs of crores of rupees on this initiative to prevent the hardships faced during Congress and SP rule. The INDI Alliance never truly cared about the people. The public must remember how Congress governed. The Tarighat bridge, initiated by Gahamari Babu, remained incomplete for six decades under various INDI Alliance governments. The bridge was finally completed only when the people entrusted Modi with the responsibility of serving them. He expressed his privilege in fulfilling Gahamari Babu's dream by inaugurating the bridge.

Shri Modi stated that Congress excels in delaying work and denying rights. Congress has prevented the nation's brave soldiers from receiving One Rank One Pension. OROP was only implemented when Modi came into power. Congress made a mockery of the soldiers' sacrifices, deceiving them by falsely promising OROP in 2013. When BJP announced Modi as the prime ministerial candidate, the first rally was in Rewari, Haryana, with former servicemen, where it was pledged to implement OROP. Congress, in panic, allocated a mere ₹500 crore in the budget as tokenism, which was an insult to the Ex-servicemen. Upon becoming the Prime Minister, it was ensured that OROP was implemented, disbursing ₹1.25 lakh crore fairly among soldiers. Congress' tokenism of ₹500 crore against the actual requirement of ₹1.25 lakh crore was a betrayal to the people and an insult to ex-servicemen.

Hon’ble Prime Minister pointing out that whether in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, or across the country, leaders of dynastic parties-built palaces for their families while the poor, marginalized, Dalits, and labourers struggled for necessities. Modi's work in ten years has changed the lives of the poor, lifting 25 crore people out of poverty. This transformation was possible due to the power of people's votes, which strengthened Modi and empowered the poor through his schemes. The strength of people's votes for enabling him to implement policies that uplifted the poor. BJP's government provided 4 crore people with PM Awas Yojana, opened bank accounts for over 50 crore poor individuals, brought electricity to every village, and ensured water reached every household. This monumental change in the lives of the underprivileged was made possible by the people's votes, which empowered Modi and allowed his government to implement these transformative policies. He said that the impact of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the underprivileged no longer need to resort to selling their land for medical treatment. With the Ayushman card, they have access to free treatment. Modi has decided to take the responsibility of treating the poor. Every citizen of the country above 70 years of age will be provided free treatment up to ₹5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Shri Modi highlighted the contrast between the governance under the Samajwadi Party (SP) regime in Uttar Pradesh and the current administration led by Shri Yogi Adityanath. During the SP era, the mafia roamed freely in red-beaconed vehicles. Uttar Pradesh was plagued by frequent incidents of violence and riots, causing significant harm to local businesses. However, under Shri Yogi Adityanath's leadership, the state has witnessed a halt in riots, with stringent action taken against rioters.

Hon’ble PM Shri Modi emphasized that SP and Congress leaders can do anything for power. The Shehzade of SP talked about stopping the entry of the mafia, but later he aligned with the mafia. The SP nurtured the mafia and gave them tickets. Those who fail to honour their commitments are incapable of serving the nation effectively. All parties within the INDI alliance share common traits. All the parties associated with the INDI alliance are deeply communal, deeply casteist and deeply nepotistic. They have collectively hindered the progress of Dalits and backward communities in the country. Congress party conspired to defeat Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar in the elections and withheld the Bharat Ratna from him. Congress party humiliated Shri Ramnath Kovind, a Dalit's son. The entire INDI alliance had come together to defeat a tribal woman in the presidential election.

Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that Congress party did not respect a brave man like Raja Suheldev. The BJP has honoured Raja Suheldev by issuing a postage stamp and dedicating a train in his name. However, parties within the INDI alliance are allegedly attempting to undermine the reservation rights of Dalits, backward classes, and tribals. They are talking about snatching the reservation of Dalits and backward classes and giving it on a religious basis. They are planning to snatch the reservation of many castes like Parsi, Jatav, Nunia, Kurmi, Yadav, Bind, Nishad, and Patel. The Congress government in Karnataka swiftly classified Muslims in the state as OBCs. Similarly, in Bengal, a significant portion of OBC reservations was allegedly allocated to Muslims and infiltrators, which was cancelled by the Calcutta High Court just two days ago. All the allies of the alliance of Congress, SP and TMC are involved in the loot of SC, ST and OBC reservations. But as long as Modi is alive, no one will be able to snatch the reservation of SC, ST and OBC. “Vanchiton Ka Jo Adhikar Hai, Modi Uska Chowkidar Hai.”

Shri Modi pointed out that the INDI alliance is excessively focused on appeasement, crossing all the limits. SP leaders have labelled the Ram Mandir as pointless and hypocritical, while Congress Shehzade is planning to lock the Ram Mandir. Moreover, the INDI alliance has announced intentions to bring back Article 370 in Kashmir, a move that could reignite terrorism and boost the morale of Pakistan. The people of Ghazipur are determined to prevent such actions. The people of Ghazipur are proud of the fact that a son of Ghazipur is today in charge of Jammu and Kashmir and is changing Jammu and Kashmir. The people of Ghazipur have seen how the fragrance of development spreads when the 'Lotus' flower blooms. The achievements like the Purvanchal Expressway, Ghazipur-Manjhi Ghat Expressway, the development of railway stations, roads, highways, bridges, agricultural infrastructure, and the establishment of facilities such as the Maharishi Vishwamitra Medical College, which were neglected for 60 years, have been realized under the BJP government's tenure of 10 years. Hon'ble Shri Modi ji has appealed to the public to press the 'Lotus' symbol to re-elect the BJP government by ensuring the victory of Shri Parasnath Rai, the candidate from Ghazipur Lok Sabha, and to aim for a majority with '400 Paar.'
