Hon’ble Union Defence Minister and Senior BJP leader Shri Rajnath Singh addressed public meetings in Khandwa and Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. During the event, Khandwa Candidate Shri Gyaneshwar Patil,  Khargone Lok Sabha candidate Shri Gajendra Singh Patel, MLA Shri Narayan Patel, District In-Charge Shri Iqbal Singh Gandhi, Khandawa In-Charge Shri  Kalyan Agrawal, Shri Harish Kotwale, Shri Ujjwal Joshi, Smt Chaya More, Shri Arun Singh, Shri Digvijay Singh and others were present there. Shri Singh criticized Congress for corruption and scandals. He urged for a resounding victory for the BJP in the forthcoming elections.

Shri Singh highlighted that Shri Gyaneshwar Patil is a familiar figure to the public, having represented them in parliament for a brief period. Now, once again, the BJP has nominated him as a candidate for this parliamentary constituency, recognizing his capability and talent. BJP stands as the world's largest party. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the BJP formed the government in 2014 and again in 2019. The work accomplished by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's government over the past ten years is evident to every Indian. Previously, when India spoke on international platforms, its words weren't taken seriously, but today, the world listens attentively to what India has to say. India's stature has grown rapidly worldwide.

Union Minister Shri Singh stated the scenario of Ukraine and Russia's ongoing conflict, highlighting India's swift response in evacuating its citizens from the war-torn regions. When the conflict between Russia and Ukraine erupted, parents of Indian students studying in Ukraine approached Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, fearing for their children's safety. Following his intervention, India facilitated the safe return of 22,000 students from Ukraine, showcasing India's growing global influence. In the recent state assembly elections, the BJP secured a clear majority, establishing a double-engine government in Madhya Pradesh. Shri Singh advocated for simultaneous elections to the state assemblies and Lok Sabha every five years, a resolution upheld by the BJP. In the past, the Congress had betrayed India's cultural heritage, but Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is undertaking initiatives similar to those championed by Ahilya Bai Holkar to preserve our cultural legacy.

Senior BJP leader Shri Singh stated that the construction of grand Corridors like the Mahakal Temple Corridor in Ujjain and the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi exemplifies the government's commitment to cultural revival. For decades, the BJP has campaigned for the construction of the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, and now, with the establishment of the Ram Mandir, the era of Ram Rajya is set to begin in India.

Shri Singh said that in the Lok Sabha elections, our BJP candidate from Surat in Gujarat won unopposed. The Lok Sabha candidate of Congress in Indore has resigned from Congress and is ready to support BJP, this shows the immense affection of the people towards BJP.  Whenever our candidate wins unopposed, Congress people say that it is a big threat to democracy and in independent India, when Congress Lok Sabha candidates are elected unopposed 20 times, then there is no threat to democracy. Shri Singh dismissed the Congress' claims of a threat to democracy, citing recent electoral victories as evidence of the BJP's growing popularity. Congress is a sinking ship, and the people have resolved to dismantle it, echoing Mahatma Gandhi's call to dissolve the Congress party. After getting independence, Gandhi ji had said that the Congress Party should now be abolished, but the Congress leaders did not accept this statement of Gandhi ji, but I think that the people of the country have decided that what Mahatma Gandhi had said should be done and ready to complete it.

Hon’ble Shri Singh pointed out that from Jawaharlal Nehru to Indira Gandhi, and then to Rajiv Gandhi, the Congress party has consistently promised to eradicate poverty, the narrative now echoed by Rahul Gandhi. However, Shri Narendra Modi's government has lifted 25 crore people out of poverty in the last decade, contrary to Congress's empty promises over 60 years. BJP government has provided essential aid to 80 crore individuals through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, facilitated permanent housing for 4 crore people under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, granted Rs 6,000 per year to 11 crore farmers through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, and ensured access to tap water in every household.

Respected Shri Singh furthermore added that the Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to extending these benefits to those who have not yet received them in the upcoming term, demonstrating their track record of fulfilling promises. Despite these achievements, Congress continues to level baseless accusations against the BJP for allegedly causing inflation. The reality, however, is that inflation rates have been highest during Congress rule, while under the BJP's tenure, they have remained at their lowest levels. Congress's attempts to mislead the public are evident in their unfounded claims.

Shri Singh took a swipe at the Congress, highlighting that during their tenure, films often portrayed the pain of India's high inflation rate. However, he noted that no such films are being made today because the BJP has successfully controlled inflation. He praised Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for elevating the practice of Yoga, an ancient Indian tradition, onto the global stage. Shri Narendra Modi's proposal to promote Yoga globally received support from 172 countries. Underlining the economic progress under BJP's governance, Shri Rajnath Singh mentioned that while India ranked 11th in the world economy during the UPA regime in 2014, it has now advanced to the 5th position. He cited assessments from leading financial institutions predicting India's rapid economic growth, projecting it to become the third-largest economic power by 2027.

Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Singh criticized Congress's proposal to survey people's property and impose a 55% inheritance tax, emphasizing that such measures are not acceptable to the public. He contrasted BJP's record of no corruption allegations in the past decade with the numerous scams, including those related to Jeep, Coal, and Urea, during Congress's rule. Referring to Rajiv Gandhi's acknowledgment of widespread corruption, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to fight against corruption by directly delivering government benefits to beneficiaries' bank accounts through Jan Dhan accounts, Aadhaar, and mobile banking. He emphasized that ending corruption requires systemic changes, not just speeches. Shri Singh expressed concern over Congress's diminishing presence across the country and appealed to the crowd to ensure the victory of Khandwa Candidate Shri Gyaneshwar Patil and Khargone Lok Sabha candidate Shri Gajendra Singh Patel and to re-elect the Modi government with a resounding majority.
