Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed a public meeting in Bokaro, Jharkhand on Tuesday. Shri Singh highlighted the developmental works and welfare policies under the BJP government led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.He criticized the Congress and the INDI alliance for indulging in corruption and engaging in appeasement politics. During the event, BJP Senior Leader Shri Amar Kumar Baori, Bokaro Lok Sabha Candidate Shri Dhulu Mahto and others were present.

Respected Shri Singh stated that Bokaro is known not only in India but worldwide for its steel production, and Dhanbad is famous for its coal. Jharkhand is the richest state in India in terms of mineral resources. However, corruption has significantly increased since the arrival of JMM, hindering the development that Jharkhand should have achieved. Shri Singh questioned the JMM, wondering if Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee had envisioned such governance when creating Jharkhand. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee's vision was that the large population of tribals and poor people in the region would develop rapidly if they had a separate state.BJP leaders such as Shri Babulal Marandi and Shri Arjun Munda have also served as Chief Ministers, but no one can accuse them of corruption. The cycle of corruption began with the JMM government, which was not the dream of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Union Minister Shri Singh pointed out that bundles of cash are being found with the CM's PS and associates, implying that such activities cannot occur without the Chief Minister's knowledge. When the ED arrested these individuals, they claimed that BJP was persecuting all its opponents. However, under Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership, anyone, even within BJP, found guilty of corruption would end up in jail. Despite engaging in corruption, these individuals continue to accuse the BJP government.

Hon’ble Shri Singh highlighted an unprecedented incident where a Chief Minister disappeared for 24 hours without anyone knowing his whereabouts, and now that person is behind bars, accusing the BJP government of misusing the ED and CBI. During Congress rule, corrupt individuals were often protected to avoid impacting their votes and political strategy. ED and CBI, under Congress rule, had only confiscated assets worth 32 lakh rupees. Shri Singh questioned if only ₹32 lakh worth of corruption had occurred before 2014. Under Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership, the ED and CBI have seized over ₹1 lakh crore in assets and confiscated properties worth ₹22,000 crore. Such effective action against corruption has taken place in the last ten years, which never happened during Congress' 50-52 years of rule. Shri Rajnath Singh criticized Congress leaders for making baseless statements and failing to take action against corruption during their tenure.

Respected Shri Singh emphasized that during the Congress regime, the condition of banks deteriorated to such an extent that all of India's banks were operating at a loss. However, today marks the first time in independent India's history that banks are generating a profit of ₹3 lakh crore. India's standing has risen globally and its stature has grown. A decade ago, India was perceived as a weak nation and its words were not taken seriously. But under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the world now listens to India's words with seriousness and acts upon them. Today, India is respected worldwide.

Union Minister Shri Singh remarked that there are corruption allegations against several ministers of the Congress party. In the past, a minister from their alliance had even faced imprisonment in a corruption case. Nonetheless, despite such instances, the Congress continues its alliance. The Congress is spreading misinformation among the public. They claim that if the Modi government comes to power for the third time, reservations will be terminated. However, no authority can abolish reservations. The Congress party is attempting to misguide the country's minorities by offering reservations based on religion. Nevertheless, the BJP government will not permit this as it contradicts the Indian Constitution. The BJP does not engage in discrimination based on religion or caste.

Respected Shri Singh emphasized that the BJP has always practiced transparent politics, facing the public rather than resorting to deceit. No one can question the credibility of the BJP. Originating as the Jan Sangh in 1951, the BJP has diligently fulfilled its pledges after securing substantial parliamentary representation. Following its parliamentary majority, it decisively revoked Article 370, which granted special status to Kashmir and oversaw the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Despite earlier skepticism from Congress members about the Ram Mandir's construction, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji performed the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla on January 22nd. Ram Lalla has now transitioned from a tent to his Mandir, symbolizing the inevitable advent of Ram Rajya in India. Shri Singh envisions a future where the people embrace their responsibilities, paving the way for the realization of Ram Rajya.

Hon’ble Shri Singh emphasized India's global influence through the widespread adoption of yoga, an ancient practice born in India that has now gained popularity worldwide. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji called for international recognition of yoga at the UN, advocating for a globally observed International Day of Yoga, which received support from 172 nations. India's trajectory continues to surpass expectations, particularly in alleviating poverty. While past leaders like Pt. Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Manmohan Singh aimed to address poverty, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji achieved significant success in lifting 25 crore people out of poverty line in just nine years.

Respected Shri Singh highlighted that nobody had foreseen a crisis like COVID-19. It was during this period that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji announced the unprecedented provision of 5 kilograms of free ration to every family, a historic step never before taken in India's history. The Ayushman Bharat card has been distributed to the majority of individuals. Regardless of age, caste, income level, or religion, everyone will receive free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh. This commitment is also outlined in the BJP's manifesto.

Union Minister Shri Singh said that India is now a nation that does not intimidate others, but if provoked, it will not hesitate to respond. Neighboring Pakistan continues its troublesome behavior, but it will have to change its stance. Pakistan-occupied Kashmir has always been and will always be, a part of India. The people there also express a desire to be integrated in India. Since the removal of Article 370, the rapid development in Kashmir has inspired those in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to seek integration with India. Pakistan MP Fazlur Rahman has remarked that India is emerging as a global superpower while Pakistan is resorting to seeking aid from the world to prevent its own downfall. Pakistan's Minister, Fawad Hussain, has attributed the terrorist attacks in Uri and Pulwama to Pakistani terrorists. Fawad Hussain is now praising Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Corruption in governments tarnishes India's reputation globally, but during Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee's tenure, there were no corruption allegations and in the past decade of Modi's government, no minister has been accused of corruption.

Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Singh criticized the Congress-JMM, and emphasized that politics in the country should not merely focus on seizing power but also on nation-building and societal development. He pointed out that opposition parties often engage in politics to establish their own dynasties, but their efforts often falter. As evidenced by Smt Sita Soren aligning with the Bharatiya Janata Party, the BJP government's goal is to make India robust, aspiring to elevate it to the status of a global powerhouse for the betterment of the world.
