Under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to write a new chapter of victory in the assembly elections in Gujarat. The Bharatiya Janata Party government will once again be formed in the state with a historic mandate.

The Congress party has always ignored the great contributions of our Tribal icons in freedom struggle and nation building. The Congress party and its Government has done great injustice with our Tribal freedom fighters by ignoring their history.

To inspire our generations to come, our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has started construction of 10 Swatantrata Senani Museum across the country to highlight the contributions of our great Tribal freedom fighters. The Narendra Modi Government has also started celebrations of the anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda ji as Adivasi Gaurav Diwas on November 15.

Post Independence the Congress party ruled the country for over six decades but it never considered any Adivasi community leader worthy of being the President of our country. It is our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji who ensured that Smt Droupadi Murmu who comes from a very poor and Tribal family is made the Constitutional Head of our country.

The Congress party government in Gujarat used to spend just Rs 900 crores for the welfare and empowerment of Tribal communities, whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party government led by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has allocated Rs 1 lakh crores for the development and welfare of our Tribal society in the state. This is the difference in approach in governance between the Congress party government and the Bharatiya Janata Party government.

As the Chief Minister of Gujarat our leader Honourable Shri Narendra Modi ji started the 10 point programme called Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojna which led to complete transformation of our Tribal areas and villages in the state. It showed new ways of growth and development of Tribal communities in Gujarat. Similarly through the Sujlam Suflam Yojna the Bharatiya Janata Party government ensured water supply to every corner, every region of the state. It was a highly successful scheme.

The Congress party did nothing except for pitting one community against another, one caste against another. During the Congress party government the state used to in curfew for over 200 days, but under the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the past 20 years there has been no curfew in Gujarat. Today Gujarat has become synonymous with peace, development, growth and prosperity.

In every election the Bharatiya Janata Party gives to the people its report card about the work done and promises which it has fulfilled, and we go out to the people and seek their votes based on our performance. This is the reason why people give their blessings to the Bharatiya Janata Party again and again.

During the Congress party government our centres of faith and spirituality used to be insulted and ignored and no one talked about their redevelopment and transformation. It is our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji who transformed and redeveloped our centres of spirituality and faith and gave them a new outlook. It all started with start of construction of grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya and today work has been completed in many hoky places while work is going on in other places.

It is our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji who is instrumental in solving our old and complex issues like the construction of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, scrapping of Article 370 from our Constitution to enable unification of Jammu and Kashmir with our country in its true sense. He also carried out surgical strikes and air strikes against terrorists and forces conspiring against India. He completed several development projects which were stalled by the Congress party government which include the Sardar Sarovar Dam project which is key for the development and growth of Gujarat.
