Today, Union Home and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah, while addressing the public meeting at Balurghat in Balurghat (South Dinajpur), West Bengal, said that the goons of the Trinamool government kept torturing women and when the ED team arrived to arrest them, they were pelted with stones. Despite being a woman Chief minister, Mamata Banerjee supported the criminals of Sandeshkhali for appeasement politics. Promising prosperity under BJP rule, Shri Shah urged voters to support PM Shri Narendra Modi for a third term and emphasized the importance of BJP's victory in the upcoming elections. During the event, West Bengal BJP President and the party’s Lok Sabha candidate from Balurghat, Shri Sukanta Majumdar, BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Maldaha Uttar Shri Khagen Murmu, among other leaders were present.

Shri Amit Shah commenced his speech by seeking the blessings of Devi Bolla Kali Mandir, Narvariya Shiva Mandir and Devi Durga. He then paid homage to Shaheed Churka Murmu, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. Shri Shah stated that on April 19th, the public must press the button on the ‘lotus’ symbol with great enthusiasm. Union Home Minister emphasized that the responsibility for the widespread poverty in the entire region lies entirely with the Communists and the Trinamool Congress. Establishing the BJP government in Bengal is crucial to showcasing the region's specialities like yogurt, Tant saree, and Mukhra silk on a global scale.

Union Home and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah noted that in the 2014 elections, the public of Bengal granted 2 seats to the Bharatiya Janata Party. By the 2019 elections, the party received a blessing of 18 seats, contributing to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's attainment of over 300 seats. Shri Amit Shah emphasized that in 2024, the BJP aims for '370 Paar', which will be achieved by securing 30 seats in Bengal.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah noted that Mamata Banerjee has turned Sonar Bangla into a land of bomb blasts and has troubled the people with cut money and corruption. It is extremely necessary to strengthen West Bengal, which will never be possible with the presence of infiltrators. Shri Shah highlighted that Mamata Banerjee will never stop infiltrators because they form her vote bank. Only PM Shri Narendra Modi and the BJP government in Bengal can stop infiltrators. Shri Shah underscored that the problem of infiltration in Assam was similar, but the BJP government was formed in the state, and now not a single person can infiltrate Assam. Shri Shah stated that it is Modi ki guarantee that if the BJP government is formed in Bengal, nobody will face any harm, and infiltration will not be tolerated in the state.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah highlighted that Mamata Banerjee-led TMC, along with the Congress party and the communist party delayed the construction of the Ram Mandir for years. However, under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's tenure, the verdict on Ram Janmabhoomi was delivered, Hon'ble Prime Minister did 'Bhoomi Poojan', and on January 22, 2024, he conducted the 'Pran Pratishtha' of Ram Lalla and after 500 years Ram Navami would be celebrated in Bhavya Ram Mandir.

Senior BJP Leader and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah emphasized Jan Sangh Founder Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee's sacrifice for the abolishment of Article 370. Despite opposition from the TMC and the Congress, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi abolished Article 370 on August 5, 2019, integrating Kashmir permanently with India. Shri Shah highlighted Shri Narendra Modi's efforts for poverty alleviation, uplifting 25 crore people above the poverty line. The BJP government led by Shri Narendra Modi has provided free rice to 80 crore individuals, constructed 12 crore toilets, offered housing to 4 crore people, distributed Ujjwala connections to 10 crore households, and ensured piped water access to 14 crore people. Shri Amit Shah also mentioned that Mamata Banerjee's failure to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Bengal has negatively impacted the poor. Shri Amit Shah asserted his assurance, known as Modi ki Guarantee, that if the BJP secures over 30 seats and forms a government in Bengal, every impoverished individual will receive free healthcare up to 5 lakhs under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Shri Amit Shah assured that under the BJP government, there will be no reduction in people's ration, no incidence of cut money, no illegal coal mining, no cow smuggling, and no infiltration. These commitments are for the welfare of the people of West Bengal, with no compromises. Shri Amit Shah highlighted that under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, the BJP has delivered justice to Muslim women by abolishing triple talaq.

Shri Amit Shah stated that even today, the Congress insists on having Muslim personal law and opposes the Uniform Civil Code. Shri Shah stated that the Congress party released their manifesto with pictures of Thailand because Rahul Gandhi frequently goes there for vacations. Shri Shah stated that the Congress party has no responsibility towards the country, its poor, or its entire population.

Shri Shah accused Mamata Banerjee of deceiving the people of West Bengal regarding the CAA, alleging that she suggested their citizenship would be revoked through the application process. He advocated for all refugees to apply under the CAA, assuring them that there would be no legal repercussions. Shri Amit Shah emphasized that the Modi government's law remains unchanged. Furthermore, Shri Shah stated that Mamata Banerjee can oppose as much as she can but the BJP government is committed to granting citizenship to Hindu, Buddhist, and Sikh refugees. Shri Amit Shah questioned Mamata Banerjee as to what problem she holds with the granting of citizenship to the refugees. On one hand, Mamata Banerjee welcomes infiltrators and Rohingyas, while on the other hand, she misleads refugees.

Shri Amit Shah mentioned the bomb blast happened in Bhupati Nagar in 2022, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. He noted that when the High Court assigned the investigation of this case to the NIA, Mamata Banerjee sought to file a case against the NIA to protect the perpetrators of the blast. Shri Shah assured the public that the culprits would be punished. Shri Amit Shah remarked that whereas Rabindra Sangeet once resonated in Bengal, today the sound of bomb blasts prevails. Shri Shah observed that there is no industry or development in Bengal. He pointed out that while the rest of the country is advancing towards development, Bengal is regressing under Mamata Banerjee's governance.

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah stated that Mamata Banerjee, despite being a female Chief Minister, is politicising the shameful incident of Sandeshkhali. Women faced atrocities under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, with TMC goons committing violence for years. When the culprits were apprehended, stones were hurled at the Enforcement Directorate, and after the directives from the High Court, they surrendered. Mamata Banerjee is protecting the culprits of Sandeshkhali. Shri Amit Shah remarked that if TMC wins the elections, it would signify condoning atrocities akin to those in Sandeshkhali, whereas victory for Shri Narendra Modi would signify the establishment of a prosperous Sonar Bangla. Shri Amit Shah appealed to the people, especially women, to vote in large numbers and ensure the BJP's victory and urged to elect Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third time and secure a majority of 400 Paar.
