Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. During the event, RLD President Shri Jayant Chaudhary, BJP Lok Sabha Candidate Smt Hema Malini, Senior leader Shri Chaudhary Laxmi Narayan Singh and other leaders were present. During his address, Shri Amit Shah emphasized the developmental initiatives spearheaded by UP CM Shri Yogi Adityanath under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, particularly for the advancement of Mathura. Shri Shah also highlighted the unwavering dedication of Smt. Hema Malini as the region's Member of Parliament and her significant contributions to its development.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah commenced his address by seeking the blessings of Prabhu Banke Bihari Ji. Shri Shah stated that he is a Vaishnav by birth and faith, and according to his tradition, it is believed that ‘Brij Ki Bhumi Pe Pair Rakh Diya To Saton Janm Ke Papon Ka Naash Ho Jata Hai'. Shri Shah stated that the Congress and Samajwadi Party have achieved a clean sweep in the first phase of the elections. Addressing the public, he emphasized continuing this journey in the second phase, aiming to lead the BJP to victory from Vrindavan to Kashi by ensuring the blooming of the lotus symbol.

Shri Amit Shah stated that the Lok Sabha elections are divided between two parties, on one side stands parties like Congress party and Samajwadi party, embroiled in allegations of scams amounting to ₹12 lakh crore, while on the opposing side stands Shri Narendra Modi, who, despite serving as Chief Minister and Prime Minister for 23 years, has not faced even a 25-paise corruption charge. On one hand, Shri Narendra Modi was born in a poor household, while on the other hand, Rahul Gandhi was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Shri Amit Shah pointed out that while the scorching heat arrives, Rahul Gandhi is off vacationing on a private beach in Thailand, whereas Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, on the other hand, refrains from taking leave even on Diwali.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah emphasized that Shri Narendra Modi has worked tirelessly for ten years to propel the nation forward. Shri Amit Shah stated that Congress party, Samajwadi party kept dragging and stalling the Ram Mandir issue for 70 years, but in just five years, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who also won the court case, performed Bhoomi Pooja in Ayodhya, and performed Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla. During the Pran Pratishtha, the trust even extended invitations to Congress and SP leaders but to safeguard their vote bank politics, they didn't even bother to visit Ram Mandir. Shri Amit Shah remarked that leaders like INC National President Mallikarjun Kharge and SP leader Akhilesh Yadav  questioned the relevance of Kashmir issue in Uttar Pradesh. Shri Shah highlighted that Shri Narendra Modi abrogated Article 370 on August 5th, 2019, a development people had been waiting for 70 years, thereby permanently integrating Kashmir with India.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah highlighted that during Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh’s led UPA tenure, for ten years, infiltrators from Pakistan (Aaliya, Maaliya, Jamaaliya) would enter India every day, conduct bomb blasts, and retreat. In 2014, the people of Western Uttar Pradesh elected Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, but this was not known to Pakistan. Subsequently, attacks like Uri and Pulwama took place. The perpetrators thought they could evade consequences, unaware that it was no longer a Congress government but a BJP-led government under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who authorized surgical strikes and air strikes. Shri Amit Shah underscored that Shri Narendra Modi has ensured the safety and prosperity of the nation. While Manmohan Singh left our economy at 11th place, PM Shri Narendra Modi has worked to elevate it from 11th to 5th position. Shri Shah provided assurance to the residents of Mathura, promising them under Shri Narendra Modi's leadership that the economy would secure the third position globally for the third consecutive term as Prime Minister.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah highlighted that on this very soil, Chaudhary Charan Singh worked tirelessly to unite Uttar Pradesh and uplift farmers. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi honored his legacy by bestowing upon him the Bharat Ratna, showcasing reverence for Uttar Pradesh and Mathura. Shri Shah emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has significantly transformed Uttar Pradesh by providing thousands of kilometers of national highways, ensuring electricity in every household, facilitating access to tap water, constructing toilets, distributing 5kg of free ration, extending health coverage up to 5 lakh, and ensuring the distribution of Covid vaccines during the pandemic. Rahul Gandhi initially opposed and misled against the vaccine, labeling it as "Modi Vaccine." However, despite his stance, the entire country got vaccinated, including him, albeit secretly.

Shri Amit Shah underscored the significant developmental strides undertaken by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Shri Yogi Adityanath's government for Mathura. Notable achievements include the construction of 570 kilometers of roads under the Gram Sadak Yojna, establishment of an ISBT with international-level facilities, modernization of Mathura Junction, and plans for a theme park spread across 600 acres of land. Moreover, initiatives such as the "84 Kosh Yatra '' and the recognition of Mathura's tap under the One District One Product scheme showcase the government's commitment to the region's progress. Shri Shah highlighted the elevation of Govardhan to Tehsil status, the establishment of Agrasen Chouraha, and the granting of widow pensions to 42,000 women.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah emphasized Smt. Hema Malini's significant contributions as the representative of Mathura for two consecutive terms. Initially elected in 2014 due to her esteemed status as a global artist, she earned a second ticket in 2019 based on her exemplary performance as one of the best MPs. In 2024, she secured another ticket for her remarkable efforts in elevating the worship of Shri Krishna to unprecedented levels nationwide. Shri Shah highlighted her proactive approach in advocating for Mathura's development, as evidenced by her monthly correspondence on the region's progress. Smt. Hema Malini's relentless dedication has played a pivotal role in transforming Mathura into a world-renowned tourist destination and effectively implementing both central and Uttar Pradesh government schemes on the ground.

Shri Shah emphasized the dire situation in western Uttar Pradesh in 2014, marked by migration due to harassment by Samajwadi Party goons, which compelled many good people to leave the state. However, after the formation of the BJP government in 2017 under Shri Yogi Adityanath's leadership, stringent measures were implemented to strengthen law and order. Consequently, the robust enforcement led to a reversal of fortunes, with the goons themselves fleeing from Uttar Pradesh under the BJP's governance.

Union Home Minister Shri Amirt Shah underscored the significance of the 2017 elections when two 'Shehzade' - Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav - joined forces, resulting in the BJP government's resounding victory. Now, as they have aligned once more, Shri Shah expressed confidence that BJP will secure the majority of seats in Uttar Pradesh in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Shri Amit Shah urged voters to support Smt. Hema Malini cast their votes for the 'Lotus' symbol, stressing that her triumph would be instrumental in securing Shri Narendra Modi's third term as Prime Minister.
