Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and Senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah addressed public meetings in Jhanjharpur and Begusarai, Bihar on Monday. During the event, JD(U) MP Shri Sanjay Jha, Bihar Cabinet Ministers Shri Nitish Mishra, Union Minister and Begusarai Lok Sabha candidate Shri Giriraj Singh, Jhanjharpur Candidate Shri Rampreet Mandal, Smt Sheela Mandal were also present on the stage.

Shri Shah emphasized that the Congress and RJD failed to acknowledge Karpoori Thakur's contributions, whereas PM Shri Narendra Modi honored him with the Bharat Ratna, recognizing his significance and advocating for the backward class. Karpoori Thakur, hailing from a backward class, earned widespread acclaim, which stirred jealousy among the opposition. Despite his humble beginnings, he dedicated himself to uplifting the poor, Dalits, and marginalized communities. Similarly, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, hailing from a family of tea sellers, has tirelessly worked towards the empowerment of the underprivileged across the nation. Making Shri Narendra Modi the Prime Minister signifies eliminating casteism from Bihar, eradicating corruption, and ensuring that the hard-earned money of the people is used for their welfare.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's victory is undeniable. However, hypothetically considering the INDI alliance, there's a dearth of suitable leaders for the Prime Ministerial position. Lalu Yadav, MK Stalin, Mamata Banerjee, and even Rahul Gandhi are not seen as viable candidates to lead the country as Prime Minister. The INDI alliance's proposition of rotating leadership among its leaders is impractical for effective governance. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as combating terrorism and Naxalism, India was steered by strong leadership under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.  Under his leadership, India also hosted the G20 summit, elevating the nation's pride on the global stage. India requires not just a 'Majboor' leadership, but a 'Majboot' leadership.  Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ensured the distribution of 130 crore free COVID-19 vaccines to every citizen, safeguarding the nation from the pandemic. Despite Rahul Gandhi's mockery and attempts to discourage vaccination by labeling it 'Modi Teeka', people still chose to get vaccinated. Even he quietly received the vaccine himself.

Shri Shah highlighted AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge's statement suggesting that Bihar and Rajasthan have no connection with Kashmir, overlooking the willingness of every individual in Jhanjharpur to sacrifice for Kashmir. Congress has considered Article 370 illegitimate for over 70 years. However, after Shri Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, he revoked Article 370 on August 5, 2019, integrating Kashmir into the mainstream. During the 10 years of the UPA regime, frequent terror incidents occurred in the country, and no one dared to speak against it, instead engaging in appeasement politics. However, under PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, within 10 days of the Uri and Pulwama attacks, the Indian army conducted airstrikes and surgical strikes in Pakistan, giving them a fitting response. PM Shri Narendra Modi has eradicated terrorism and naxalism from the country. The INDI Alliance cannot efficiently govern the country, whereas PM Shri Narendra Modi can combat terrorism, establish law and order in Kashmir, and improve healthcare facilities. The opposition obstructed the construction of the Ram Mandir for 70 years, but PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership facilitated the Bhoomi Poojan and Pran Pratistha of Shri Ram within five years. Leaders like Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Yadav, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge were invited to the Pran Pratistha but declined due to appeasement politics.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah highlighted the significant improvements in Mithila under the leadership of Shri Nitish Kumar, contrasting it with the deteriorated condition during Lalu Yadav's tenure. Efforts were initiated to protect ponds, fish, and Makhana. The BJP government played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Maithili language by including it in the Eighth Schedule. When India's Chandrayan 3 successfully landed on the moon's south pole, PM Shri Narendra Modi named the landing site "Shiv Shakti" in tribute to Uchchaith Bhagwati and Bhagwati Ugratara. The BJP government has taken several initiatives for the upliftment of the Makhana industry. Madhubani Makhana was granted a GI tag under the Modi government, elevating its global recognition. Additionally, six districts, including Madhubani, have been designated for Makhana production under the "One District One Product" scheme. Under the Atmanirbhar Yojana, schemes worth over ₹10,000 crore were launched for the Makhana industry. Furthermore, Makhana processing and value-addition centers were established under the Sakhi aur SFRUTI Yojana.

Shri Shah highlighted that the Congress is an anti-backward class, aligning with Lalu Yadav, who is backing the Congress to position his son as the Chief Minister. He pointed out that the current reservation system, initiated by the Mandal Commission, could have been implemented much earlier if Congress had not suppressed Kaka Kalelkar's report and opposed the Mandal Commission. The BJP, on the other hand, has seen significant representation from the backward class, with 27% of NDA MPs and 27% of ministers in PM Shri Narendra Modi's cabinet coming from the backward class. PM Shri Narendra Modi's government has also ensured 27% reservation in central government educational institutions.  Regarding development in Jhanjharpur, significant infrastructure projects like the Bharatmala project have been undertaken, including the construction of a 26 KM road from Madhepura to Videshwar and a 10 KM road bridge in Bakaul and Madhumati districts, with an investment of ₹1000 crore. This bridge is set to become the country's longest road bridge. Additionally, over 1 Lakh 82 thousand houses have been provided, 3 Lakh people have received an annual healthcare cover of ₹5 Lakh, and 5 Lakh 12 thousand women have received LPG connections. Moreover, over 8 Lakh 70 thousand people have received 5 KG food grains, more than 7 Lakh households have been provided with water connections, and 3 Lakh farmers have received ₹6000 per year under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi aims to modernize Bihar and the Mithilanchal region, contrasting with Lalu Yadav's outdated approach symbolized by the "Lalten" era. Shri Amit Shah emphasized that only a determined leader like Shri Narendra Modi can lead the nation from the era of lanterns to the era of LEDs.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation highlighted Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's achievement of providing homes to 4 crore people, with a resolution to build 3 crore more houses in the next 5 years. He contrasted this with Rahul Gandhi's prediction of violence if Article 370 was removed, which proved unfounded. Under the Modi government, significant infrastructure projects have been completed, including the Munger Rail Bridge, Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation construction, a four-lane bridge on the Ganga River, the Haldia-Bokaro pipeline, the North Koel Reservoir Project, and the Greenfield Expressway. Under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, significant infrastructure developments have taken place, spearheaded by Shri Giriraj Singh. These developments include the construction of a 6-lane bridge connecting Aunta-Begusarai and ongoing work on constructing an overbridge on the railway line. Moreover, 1 Lakh 22 thousand underprivileged individuals have been provided with housing, while 3 Lakh 75 thousand people have received an annual health cover of 5 lakhs under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Furthermore, 5 Lakh 75 thousand individuals are benefiting from the distribution of 5 KG of free foodgrains per month. Additionally, 4 Lakh 20 thousand women have received LPG connections under the Ujjwala Yojana, 4 Lakh 75 thousand households have obtained water connections, and 1 Lakh 20 thousand farmers have received an annual grant of 6000 under the Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Shri Shah asserted that Lalu Yadav has been implicated in several scandals, including the Fodder scam, Cobalt scam, pesticide scam, Education scam, Medha scam, Nun Banking Fraud, Alaktara Scam, medicine scams, as well as railway jobs and land scam. His sole objective appears to be securing the Chief Minister position for his son, while Sonia Gandhi aims to make her son the Prime Minister. The opposition parties have been involved in scams amounting to 12 lakh crore, and PM Narendra Modi has taken strict measures against corruption. Dynastic parties lack leadership and coherent policies, highlighting the necessity of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the nation's development. Shri Shah urged the people of Jhanjharpur and Begusarai to vote for Shri Rampreet Mandal and Shri Giriraj Singh to ensure a resounding victory for PM Narendra Modi.
