Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed public meetings in Jamtara and Madhupur, Jharkhand on Friday. Shri Shah condemned the corruption within the JMM government and the INDI alliance while underscoring the developmental efforts undertaken by the BJP. During the event, Jharkhand BJP state president Shri Babulal Marandi, Dumka Lok Sabha candidate Smt Sita Soren, Godda BJP Lok Sabha candidate Shri Nishikant Dubey and other leaders were present.
Shri Shah noted that five phases of elections have concluded, with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji emerging victorious on 310 seats and forming the government. In the sixth and seventh phases, the goal should be to surpass the milestone of '400 Paar' seats. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji embarked on a journey of development with the poor, tribals, Dalits and backward communities. After 70 years of Independence, he became the first Prime Minister to visit the birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. He has launched several significant schemes from Jharkhand, including the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which provides health coverage of up to ₹5 lakh for the poor, the Mudra Yojana, offering loans to underprivileged children, and the PM Jan Dhan Yojana, empowering the tribal community. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji believes that without the development of Jharkhand, the country cannot progress.
Union Home Minister stated that Jharkhand movement fighter Durga Soren's wife, Smt. Sita Soren has not received justice, but the people of Dumka must ensure that she gets justice in this election. Smt. Sita Soren has upheld Durga Soren's legacy. Despite Hemant Soren not doing justice to her, the BJP will respect her and ensure she receives justice. The Bharatiya Janata Party realized the dream of Jharkhand statehood, shaping India in line with the aspirations of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee played a crucial role in establishing Jharkhand as a separate state. However, Jharkhand has become nothing more than a mere vote bank, property, land bank and ATM for Hemant Soren and the Congress party. The Congress party, which hindered Jharkhand's progress for years, is now being supported by Hemant Soren solely to secure the Chief Minister position, neglecting the welfare of the people of Jharkhand. It is only the BJP that is truly committed to the welfare of tribals and the Santhal community. Until Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee became Prime Minister, there was no separate ministry dedicated to tribal welfare. However, under his leadership, a separate ministry for tribal welfare was established. He also played a key role in the formation of Jharkhand as a separate state, with Shri Babulal Marandi becoming the first Chief Minister from the Santhal community.
Shri Shah has pointed out that in this election, on one side there is the INDI alliance, involved in a scandal amounting to ₹12 lakh crore, while on the other side is led by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who, despite his 23-year tenure in a constitutional post, hasn't faced any allegations. Following the defeat on June 4th, Rahul Gandhi intends to take an overseas holiday. Contrasting this,there's the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who has tirelessly served the nation for 23 years without a single day break. Those who prioritize personal matters over national interests cannot effectively lead. The Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji stands as the sole beacon for the country's progress and development, considering all 140 crore countrymen as his family.
Union Home Minister highlighted that Atal Bihari Vajpayee included the Santali language in the Eighth Schedule, and November 15 was decided to be celebrated as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas and announcements will be made in the Santali language at all railway stations. In 2025, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has declared it as Tribal Pride Year, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, focusing on the development of tribal communities. During the Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh led government, the budget for tribal welfare was 25 thousand crores for 10 years. However, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has increased it to 1 lakh 25 thousand crores in 10 years. Under the BJP government, 740 Eklavya Model Residential Schools were established, a mission was created with a budget of ₹500 crore to eliminate sleeper cells, the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana was initiated with a budget of ₹7000 crore, and the Bharatiya Janata Party also initiated the Mineral Development Fund.
Shri Shah stated that Congress leaders talk about keeping Pakistan occupied Kashmir at bay by showing the fear of Pakistan's nuclear bomb, but BJP is not going to be afraid of Pakistan's nuclear bomb. Pakistan occupied Kashmir was, is and will always remain a part of India. Congress kept Article 370 for years. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji did the work of making Jammu and Kashmir an integral part of India by abolishing Article 370 on 5 August 2019. Rahul Gandhi said that if Article 370 is abolished then rivers of blood will flow in the country, but under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, forget about rivers of blood, no one has the courage to even throw a stone. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has eliminated terrorism from the country and has attacked terrorism by entering Pakistan's home by conducting surgical and air strikes. PFI had made Jharkhand its base, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji worked to send 1000 PFI members behind the bars of the jail. Hemant Soren and Congress want to loot the reservation of backward, Dalit and tribal people and give it to their vote bank. Congress gave 5% reservation to Muslims in Karnataka and 4% in Hyderabad. Mamta Banerjee tried to include 180 castes in the backward class in Bengal in an unauthorized manner. As long as Bharatiya Janata Party is in power, no one can touch the reservation of Dalits, backward and tribal people. BJP will cancel the reservation given to special classes.
Union Home Minister pointed out that the Congress party kept the Ram Mandir issue unresolved for 70 years. Following Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s second term, the case was successfully resolved within five years, with the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony conducted, and the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Lalla in Ayodhya in January. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has eliminated Naxalism from the country. The Modi government has initiated various schemes for the welfare of the poor. Over the past 10 years, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has provided more than 80 crore people in the country with 5 kilograms of grains free of cost every month, more than 12 crore toilets have been constructed, provided homes to over 4 crore people, given Ujjwala gas connections to 10 crore women, and provided Nal se Jal to 14 crore poor people. These schemes have benefitted the backward society and tribal people the most.
Shri Shah stated that the matter of infiltration poses a significant concern for the tribal communities. Congress, Hemant Soren, and their recently arrested ministers have engaged in infiltration in Jharkhand, promoting Love Jihad, Land Jihad, and Forest Jihad against the tribals. He appealed to the tribal brothers and sisters of this area to vote for a government that will effectively combat infiltration. If infiltration is not stopped, both the land and forests of the tribals will be in danger. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has also worked to curb religious conversions.
Union Home Minister highlighted that ₹350 crore in cash were discovered at the residence of a Congress MP, while ₹35 crore were seized from the home of a helper of Jharkhand cabinet minister’ PS. There's been a ₹1,000 crore MNREGA scam, a ₹300 crore land scam, a ₹1,000 crore mining scam, and a ₹40 crore liquor scam reported. There is a corruption battle going on between Hemant Soren and the Congress. Opposition people allege that they have been forcibly put in jail but the court has also rejected their plea.
Shri Shah stated that Jharkhand is a state rich in mineral wealth and Shri Nishikant Dubey has worked very hard to open coal mines and power plants. Additionally, a cement plant is also going to start, providing local employment and benefits. Connectivity is crucial for industrial, educational, and health sector development. To support this, an airport was built in Deoghar, railways were developed, and the Deoghar-Godda and Sahibganj-Ranchi highways were constructed. When Hemant Soren's government stopped the BJP's Dakia Yojana, it led to the deaths of tribal children in remote areas from preventable diseases, with no ministers willing to listen. Tenders for the recruitment examination of Public Service Commission in Jharkhand were given to blacklisted companies and the JMM government did the work of corruption of crores.
Union Home Minister pointed out that cattle smuggling is happening on a large scale in Jharkhand. He assured that once the Bharatiya Janata Party government comes to power in Jharkhand, cattle smuggling will be completely eradicated, as it was in Assam. The BJP government has built AIIMS and Medical College in Dumka, constructed 1700 km of road under the Pradhanamantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, provided housing up to 2,76,000 people in the Dumka, provided free treatment to 11,56,000 people under Ayushman Bharat, provided gas connections to 4,60,000 people under the Ujjwala Scheme and provided 'Nal se Jal' to 3,23,000 houses.
Shri Shah stated that the Modi government started a fertilizer plant in Jharkhand in 2024, started a super thermal power plant at a cost of ₹7500 crore, started HPCL in Godda-Dumka area at a cost of ₹1750 crore, which will benefit more than 14 lakh households. A Tirtha Mandali Hall with a capacity of 2000 pilgrims was built, Birsa Munda Park was built, 3 new Vande Bharat trains are being run and road construction work is going on at a cost of ₹10 thousand crore. A medical college was started, a ring road was constructed in Deoghar at a cost of ₹2000 crore, a four-lane road was approved at a cost of ₹1000 crore. Along with this, 13 lakh 50 thousand Ayushman cards were made, 5 lakh LPG gas connections were given to mothers, Nal se Jal was supplied to the homes of 3 lakh 50 thousand poor people, electricity was supplied to 1 lakh 75 thousand houses and the Modi government has done the work of giving houses to 2 lakh people.
Union Home Minister highlighted that Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has saved everyone from the Corona epidemic by providing free vaccination. During the epidemic, Rahul Gandhi misled the public on vaccines and engaged in cheap politics. The INDI alliance lacks a leader, intention, and policy. When a journalist asked the leader of the INDI alliance about their candidate for Prime Minister, he replied that everyone would take turns being Prime Minister each year. Shri Shah appealed to form the Modi Government for the third time in the country by making the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Dumka Lok Sabha seat, Smt. Sita Soren and Godda BJP Lok Sabha candidate Shri Nishikant Dubey victorious with a huge margin by pressing the 'Lotus' symbol to elect Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji as Prime Minister for the third term and secure '400 Paar.'
