Under the leadership of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the grand and historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party is certain in Gujarat assembly elections. Under the leadership and guidance of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji a new era of peace, prosperity, growth and development has begun in Gujarat. But unfortunately the Congress party is unable to digest the growth and progress of Gujarat and that the people have rejected it completely.

 

The foundation stone of the Narmada dam project was laid by the then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1961, but the Congress party persistently betrayed Gujarat and its people by putting barriers in the construction of this mega project which was very crucial for the progress and prosperity of the state. Four generations of the Congress ruled the nation but still the Kutch-Saurashtra region of Gujarat suffered due to extreme water crisis, but still the Congress party government did not show any mercy for the people of Gujarat. The successive Congress party governments made the people of Gujarat suffer.

 

When Honourable Shri Narendra Modi ji became the Chief Minister of Gujarat he sat on fast for the early completion of the Sardar Sarovar Dam project. It was then the Congress party government of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh relent, and agreed to raise the height of the dam and the work on the project started. In 2017 our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji dedicated this project to the nation.

 

This is the same Aam Aadmi Party which had made Medha Patkar contest Lok Sabha election from Gujarat. The people of Gujarat have not forgotten how Medha Patkar had vehemently opposed the Narmada project which is the lifeline of Gujarat, as a result the people of Kutch and Saurashtra had to wait for 20 long years to get the water of Maa Narmada.

 

I want to ask the Aam Aadmi Party leaders and party candidates, will you say sorry to the people of Gujarat for keeping them away from the water of Maa Narmada for so many years? How is the Aam Aadmi Party and its candidates going to face the people of Gujarat? The people of Gujarat will never ever accept the Aam Aadmi Party and its leaders.

 

The Congress party these days is saying in Gujarat that its works speak volumes. There has been a Bharatiya Janata Party government in Gujarat for the past 27 years, so what is the Congress party and its leaders talking about? About whose work are they talking about? It seems that by putting up the posters and banners of "Kaam Bolta Hai", the Congress party is praising the work done by the Bharatiya Janata Party government.

 

The Gandhi-Nehru family of the Congress party made all efforts to wipe out Honourable Sardar Patel ji, his works and achievements from our history. Till the time there was the Congress party government at the Centre, neither any national museum of Sardar Patel was made nor he was given Bharat Ratna. It is our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji who made the world's tallest memorial - Statue of Unity - in the honour and remembrance of Honourable Sardar Patel ji.

 

During the Congress party rule criminals and anti-social elements used to literally rule Saurashtra. It was the Bharatiya Janata Party government which ended the illegal activities and crime in Saurashtra by constituting "Goonda Virodhi Samiti''. During the Bharatiya Janata Party government such improvement was made in the crime and law and order situation in Saurashtra that the jails in Kutch and Porbandar shut down. This is the change which the Bharatiya Janata Party government has brought in Gujarat.

 

The double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party used bulldozers to remove all encroachments in Dwarka and all the mess was removed. This led to the end of all anti India activities and smuggling rackets in Dwarka.

 

During the Congress party government Gujarat used to see 250 curfew days every year as the law and order situation in the state was deplorable. But during the Bharatiya Janata Party government curfew became a thing of the past. The law and order situation in the state improved remarkably in Gujarat under the Bharatiya Janata Party government.

 

For the Congress party the base of fighting elections in Gujarat is casteism, vote bank politics and politics of appeasement. But for the Bharatiya Janata Party the elections are fought on the basis of development, industrialisation, growth and prosperity. The Bharatiya Janata Party fights elections on its report card, its development initiatives, its development of industry, its construction of roads in every village across the state, its project to give piped water supply to every household and its efforts to uplift and empower poorest of the poor.

 

Till the time there was the Congress party government in Gujarat, Kutch and Saurashtra had no water and groundwater level in this region also remained critical. Till the time there was the Congress party government in Gujarat the Sardar Sarovar Dam project remained in limbo. It was under the Bharatiya Janata Party government that all these crucial development projects of Gujarat got completed. This is the commitment of good and effective governance of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

 

Due to the politics of vote bank and appeasement of the Congress party, the centres of our spirituality and faith remained devoid of development and renovation during the Congress party rule. It is our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji who got all our major centres of faith and spirituality restored and renovated. While a grand Shri Ram Temple in coming up in Ayodhya due to efforts and vision of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, major renovation and transformation of Baba Vishwanath Dham in Kashi, Mahakal Mandir Parisar in Ujjain, Baba Kedarnath temple complex and Shri Badrinath Dham has been completed or is underway. In Gujarat also due to the vision and commitment of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the redevelopment and restoration of Ambaji temple, Pawagarh temple and Somnath temple complex has been done.
