Salient points of speech of Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and Senior BJP Leader Shri Amit Shah ji while addressing a massive public rally in Mandya, Karnataka

 

●       Today is a very sad day for us as our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has lost his beloved mother. Hon'ble Hira Ba ji is no longer with us. In this moment of sorrow the entire country is mourning with our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. We all offer our rich tributes to Hon'ble Hira Ba ji.

 

●       Enough is enough as there is always repetition between JDS-Congress and Congress -JDS. This time we all have to ensure a clean sweep for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Mandya district. JDS and Congress are dynastic parties, they are highly corrupt parties. Congress and JDS are promoters of casteism. Apart from being corrupt, the two parties are also a safe haven for criminals and antisocial elements.

 

●       When the Congress party government was formed in Karnataka, the state became an ATM for Congress' Delhi leadership. And when JDS comes to power in Karnataka, the state becomes an ATM for one family.

 

●       The Siddaramaiah government of the Congress party in the state withdrew cases against 1,700 PFI cadres. But it was the Bharatiya Janata Party government under the leadership of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji which banner the PFI and put all the anti national elements in jails.

 

●       Both the parties and their governments were highly corrupt who worked to stop development works in Karnataka. Now the time has come to once again stop the Congress and JDS and give the Bharatiya Janata Party full majority to run the government in the state.

 

●       The Congress under its rule committed the sin of torturing and ignoring Tribals and Dalits, whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party government ensured their empowerment and upliftment. Recently the Narendra Modi Government included the Betta Kuruba Community under ST thus giving thousands of them the benefits of ST. 

 

●       Our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji by working on mission mode has ensured total transformation of all major centres of our faith and culture and gave them a totally new look. He has taken our religion and culture to newer heights.

 

●       In Karnataka Hon'ble Shri Yeddyurappa ji gave additional Rs 4000 per annum to our farmers which was additional to what is being provided by our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna. The farmers of Karnataka are getting Rs 10,000 every year as financial aid. So far over Rs 18000 crores have been disbursed to lakhs of farmers of Karnataka.

 

●       The Congress party never did anything for Mysore and Mandya regions of Karnataka. The Bharatiya Janata Party government constructed Mysore - Bangalore expressway. Our government also re-started the closed sugar factory. I thank the Bharatiya Janata Party government for all these development works.

 

●       The Narendra Modi Government gave Rs 1100 crores to Karnataka for micro irrigation scheme. Similarly, a massive increase of 58% has also been done in the state budget for small irrigation projects. Also around 3 lakh hectares of additional land has been provided with irrigation facilities in the state.

 

●       Hon'ble Shri Yeddyurappa ji and Shri Bommai ji have allocated over Rs 13000 crores in three years to win the honour of running the government for our farmers. The two Chief Ministers have also attracted investments worth over Rs 2.80 lakh crores for the state to make Karnataka a fast developing state in the country.

 

●       Under Shri Bommai ji Karnataka has been adjudged by the Niti Ayog as the most innovative state under the India Innovative ecosystem. The railway budget for the state has also seen a massive increase of 629 %. Karnataka is on a fast track of growth and development under the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership and guidance of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

 

●       On the occasion of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has taken the pledge that when India celebrates its Anniversary of Independence, we should be first in every field. We all have to fulfill this pledge which is our responsibility.
