Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed public meetings in Rewa and Stana constituency, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. In his address, Shri Singh said that whether BJP remains in power or not, it will not allow “Nari Shakti” to be humiliated on the soil of India. To continue the public welfare and development work done during the last 10 years of BJP rule, the people of the country will once again make Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister with 400 seats. During the event, Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Incumbent Rewa MP and BJP Lok Sabha candidate Shri Janardan Mishra, Incumbent Satna MP and BJP Lok Sabha candidate Shri Ganesh Singh, BJP MLA Shri Girish Gautam, and BJP Madhya Pradesh election Incharge Shri Ramlal Rautel, among other leaders were present.

Referring to the last Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Shri Rajnath Singh said that

the people across the nation were saying that the BJP government has been in power in the state since 2003, but this time the BJP government will not be formed. However, due to immense public support, the party regained confidence, ultimately leading to the formation of a BJP government in Madhya Pradesh with a majority. He also emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to both national development and the preservation of our heritage.

Shri Singh stated that prior 2003, people used to call MP a BIMARU Rajya’. They continued to say so even for some time after 2003. However, economic analysts now say that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’'s leadership, Madhya Pradesh is playing a role as a growth engine in the development of the country.

Shri Singh emphasized Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's concerted efforts for the welfare of farmers, noting that the Modi government has allocated nearly ₹1.5 lakh crore to establish storage facilities across nearly 700 warehouses for grains, enabling farmers to safeguard their produce for extended periods. He highlighted that many of the central government's schemes are significantly benefiting the public, despite questions raised by the Congress regarding the assistance provided to farmers.  Shri Singh highlighted that the perception of other countries towards India has changed, and in next 2-3 decades, India will become a superpower in the world.

Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted an enlightening statement by US Ambassador Mr. Eric Garcetti in an international forum, emphasizing India's prominence: "If you want to see the future, come to India. If you want to feel the future, come to India. If you want to work on the future, come to India." He mentioned that the statement reflects the significant respect India has garnered globally. He added that serving as the head of the manifesto committee in 2019 and 2024, he ensured that promises were included meticulously and thoughtfully.

Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh reflected on the Bharatiya Janata Party's pledge in their 1984 manifesto to build a magnificent Ram Mandir in Ayodhya upon securing a parliamentary majority. Despite opposition from parties, who dismissed it as mere election rhetoric, the BJP remained resolute in its promise through subsequent elections. During the BJP government's tenure, Ram Lalla came out of his small hut and entered a grand palace, fulfilling the cherished aspirations of millions. This is the beginning of Ram Rajya.

Shri Singh underscored that, as pledged in the manifesto, the BJP has fulfilled its commitment to revoking Article 370 and normalizing the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the BJP's dedication to non-discrimination based on religion, exemplified by the abolition of triple talaq, a reform that advances Muslim women's empowerment. Additionally, Shri Singh emphasized that women from all religions are revered as mothers and sisters by the Bharatiya Janata Party, and respecting women is an age-old tradition deeply ingrained in Indian culture, where they are worshipped as ‘Shakti Swaroopa’.

Shri Singh highlighted the historical poverty challenges faced by Madhya Pradesh. He noted that according to reports from NITI Ayog and other institutions, over the past decade, under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, more than 25 crore people across India have risen above the poverty line. Shri Singh emphasized the government's commitment to social welfare by initiating programs such as providing 5 kilograms of free rations to impoverished individuals, with plans for the scheme to continue until 2029. Shri Singh emphasized that the central government, under the BJP's governance, has prioritized the welfare of citizens by ensuring LPG gas connections to every household. Additionally, the government has implemented a scheme providing free medical treatment of up to ₹5 lakh rupees.

Union Defence Minister lauded the track record of the Modi government and mentioned that undoubtedly Shri Narendra Modi has enhanced India's prestige in the world. In terms of the economy, India was ranked 11th globally, but now it stands at the 5th position. All the financial firms around the world say that India is progressing rapidly and by 2026, it will be among the top 3 countries. By 2047, the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’ will be achieved, and by 2070-72, it will be the world's largest economic power.

Shri Rajnath Singh emphasized a significant incident where retired Indian Navy personnel were sentenced to death in Qatar's court. Shri Singh highlighted that it was due to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's intervention with the President of Qatar, that all 8 former servicemen returned safely to India. This incident underscores India's prowess and effectiveness in diplomacy on the international platform.

Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted the transformation of the Defence Ministry under the previous government, noting that defence items were previously imported from other countries. However, over the last decade, there has been a significant shift, with tanks, missiles, and fighter planes now being manufactured in India. Moreover, India has progressed to the extent of exporting defence items to other countries, showcasing the nation's growing self-reliance and prowess in defence manufacturing.
