Salient Points of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah’s address at a public meeting in North Goa, Goa

***************************************

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in North Goa on Friday. Shri Shah highlighted PM Shri Narendra Modi’s developmental work while criticizing the corruption and appeasement prevailing in the INDI Alliance. During the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Pramod Sawant, state BJP President Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade, North Goa Lok Sabha candidate Shri Shripad Naik, South Goa Lok Sabha candidate Smt Pallavi Shrinivas Dempo among other leaders were present.

Upcoming voting day in Goa, people must remember that they are not merely selecting two MPs from Goa but also choosing the party that will lead the nation for the next five years. Each vote for Smt. Pallavi Demo and Shri Shripad Naik will bolster Shri Narendra Modi and ensure the achievement of '400 Paar' seats, securing his position as Prime Minister for the third term.

When the public votes for Shri Shripad Naik and Smt. Pallavi Shrinivas Dempo, their vote will directly go to Shri Narendra Modi and make him Prime Minister for the third term.

The election is a choice between the INDI alliance, entangled in scams worth ₹12 lakh crore, and Shri Narendra Modi, who has served the people for 23 years without facing any corruption charges.

On one side, there is a patriot like Shri Narendra Modi, who has dedicated every moment to 'Bharat Mata' and served as Prime Minister and Chief Minister for 23 years without taking a single holiday. On the other hand, there are leaders like Rahul Gandhi, often seen vacationing in Thailand.

On one side, the NDA, led by PM Shri Narendra Modi, tirelessly works for the betterment of the nation. On the contrary, the INDI Alliance lacks both a leader and a coherent policy agenda.

By any chance, if the INDI Alliance wins the election, who will be the Prime Minister? Can Sharad Pawar, Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee or MK Stalin handle the country?

When asked about the prime ministerial candidate, an INDI alliance leader stated that everyone within the alliance would take turns serving as the Prime Minister.

For three decades, the nation endured significant losses due to unstable governance, but over the past decade, PM Shri Narendra Modi has led the country with strength and capability.

INDI Alliance will struggle to address critical issues such as national security, managing emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic, or propelling the country to become the world's third-largest economy. Their focus may remain limited to serving their own family and relatives rather than the broader interests of the nation.

Sharad Pawar, Sonia Gandhi, and other leaders of the INDI Alliance prioritize the interests of their son, daughter and relatives over the development of marginalized communities like Dalits, youth, Adivasis, and the backward sections of Goa. Only PM Shri Narendra Modi has shown the dedication and capability to truly work for their development.

During the governance of Sonia-Manmohan, bomb attacks allegedly occurred frequently across the nation. However, no action was taken against the terrorist.

In 2014, the public elected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Following this, Pakistan carried out attacks on Uri and Pulwama. However, they overlooked the change in government. Now, it's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, known for his strong leadership. Within ten days, he conducted surgical and air strikes to eliminate terrorists from Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has liberated India from terrorism.

Kashmir is an integral part of India, and Mallikarjun Kharge questions what Rajasthan and Goa have to do with Kashmir. Despite crossing 80, Kharge couldn't understand that every child in Goa could relate to Kashmir.

For 70 years, the INDI alliance neglected Article 370 like an orphan child. On August 5, 2019, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi abolished Article 370.

At Lal Chowk, where Shri Murli Manohar Joshi and Shri Narendra Modi once hoisted the tricolor alongside security forces, today our flag flies with immense pride.

Congress kept the issue of the Ram Mandir unresolved for 70 years. However, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also conducted the Bhoomi Poojan of the Ram Mandir and Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in his Grand Mandir.

Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi, and Sharad Pawar were all invited to participate in the "Pran Pratishtha" ceremony, but they did not attend because they fear losing their vote bank, unlike the BJP, which does not fear its vote bank.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi revitalized pilgrimage centers like Kedarnath and Badrinath, constructed the Ram Mandir and created a corridor for the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir which Aurangzeb had destroyed. He's also working to make the Somnath Mandir golden.

Congress initiated the "Bharat Jodo Yatra" but didn't visit Goa. Mallikarjun Kharge doesn't prioritize small states like Goa because they often have BJP governments. However, regardless of size, every state is an integral part of the country. After June 4, Mallikarjun Kharge should start the ‘Congress Dhoondo Yatra’ because the party won't be visible anywhere.

AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge believes that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will be blamed for the loss in the election. He should remember that he might be made the scapegoat for the results.

Shri Narendra Modi's third term as Prime Minister signifies elevating the country's economy to the third position globally, which is BJP's belief. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has undertaken numerous initiatives for the development of 80 crore poor people.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ensured free distribution of 5 kg of ration per person per month to 80 crore poor, constructed over 12 crore toilets, provided homes to more than 4 crore people, gave gas connections to 10 crore households, provided 'Nal Se Jal' to 14 crore people, and offered free healthcare expenses up to ₹5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat to 50 crore people.

A sum of 1600 crore rupees has been designated for the development of four-lane highways connecting Goa and Kundapur. Another 1500 crore rupees were spent on inaugurating a new cable bridge over the Zuari River. Furthermore, 800 crore rupees were utilized for constructing a four-lane flyover from MES College to Bogmalo Junction.

International airport was constructed at a cost of 3000 crore rupees, while 50 crore rupees were allocated for fisheries development and 40 crore rupees for the construction of NIT. Over 1000 crore rupees were utilized to initiate more than 47 beneficiary schemes.

Both Congress and BJP have 10 years of governance. During the UPA government, only ₹6300 crore was allocated for Goa, however, PM Shri Narendra Modi has allocated ₹35,027 crore and an additional ₹11,000 crore for infrastructure development.

Central schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Har Ghar Jal Mission, Swacch Bharat Yojana, Anna Yojana, Awas Yojana, DBT schemes, etc have been implemented in the state under the leadership of CM Shri Pramod Sawant, who ensured every needy should take benefit from it.

INDI Alliance should inform the people of Goa about their plan for the state's development. In the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra', PM Shri Narendra Modi pledged to enhance India's security and prosperity. The vision entails attracting investments from various countries to India, making it a global manufacturing hub.

The people of Goa should vote for Shri Shripad Naik and Smt. Pallavi Shrinivas Dempo. By casting their votes for the 'Lotus' symbol, the public will ensure the third term of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and fulfill the dream of ‘400 Paar’.
