BJP's membership drive is a national organizational event for the party, directly connecting the BJP with the public and making it a party of the people. This is why the BJP, with 18 crore members, is now the largest political party in the world

Under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the BJP and NDA have propelled the country forward, whereas the Congress and all parties in the INDI alliance have fostered corruption and empowered anti-national elements

This time, the BJP's membership drive aims to connect 10 crore people with the party. So far, over 1.25 crore people have joined the BJP. All party karyakartas are fully supporting and advancing this campaign
********************
BJP is the only party in the country where all its karyakartas, from the Prime Minister to the National President, State Presidents, District Presidents, Mandal Presidents, and Booth Presidents, are required to renew their party membership every six years
********************
In other political parties, the party President is often chosen from a specific family or caste. In contrast, the Bharatiya Janata Party allows even an ordinary person from a poor background to rise to the position of Prime Minister or National President of the party

Congress twice tried to prevent Baba Saheb Ambedkar from being elected to the Lok Sabha. However, Baba Saheb was later honored with the Bharat Ratna when the BJP-supported government was in power at the center

Before 2014, Samvidhan Diwas was not celebrated. Congress neither acknowledged Baba Saheb's contributions nor recognized the struggles of Dalits. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji announced that Samvidhan Diwas would be celebrated on November 26, dedicating it to Baba Saheb

Under Atal Bihari Vajpayee's BJP government, the first Dalit Speaker of the Lok Sabha was appointed. Today, out of 71 BJP ministers, 10 are from the Dalit community, 27 are from backward classes, and 5 are from tribal communities

Hon’ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed the Rashtriya Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024 on Saturday, in Patna, Bihar. Shri Nadda stated that under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the BJP and NDA have worked for the betterment of the country, whereas the constituent parties of the INDI Alliance have increased corruption and empowered anti-national elements. During the event, Bihar BJP State President Shri Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Samrat Chaudhary and Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, Patna Sahib MP and senior leader Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Shri Nand Kishore Yadav, along with state BJP officials and karyakartas were present.
Shri Nadda began his address by paying tribute to Guru Gobind Singh, acknowledging his contributions in fighting against the Mughals. He mentioned that on September 2nd, the BJP’s "Sadasyata Abhiyan" membership drive was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Shri Nadda emphasized that BJP is the only party where the 'Pradhan Sevak,' along with party karyakartas from the National President to District and Booth level karyakartas, renews their membership every six years. Such a membership renewal process is unique to the BJP, as no other party could replicate it. While other parties are divided along lines of caste, region, and specific communities, or are centered around a single family, the BJP is a party that represents every section of society, working inclusively for the nation's welfare. The BJP is a party of 18 crore members and in this renewal drive the BJP aims for 10 crore members and till now more than 1.25 crore members have joined BJP.
Hon’blel BJP National President emphasized the BJP's commitment to equality, rights, and opportunities for all, contrasting it with other parties that prioritize specific castes or families for leadership roles. He highlighted the BJP's dedication to uplifting marginalized communities, including villages, the poor, oppressed, Dalits, farmers, youth, and women. While other parties, especially Congress, have historically ignored Dalit rights, the BJP has actively worked for their betterment. Congress had twice tried to prevent Dr. B.R. Ambedkar from being elected to the Lok Sabha, whereas the BJP-backed government under Shri V.P. Singh honored Ambedkar with the Bharat Ratna.
Shri Nadda mentioned that Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji's government declared November 26th as ‘Samvidhan Diwas’ in tribute to Dr. Ambedkar, a day that wasn't celebrated before 2014 because Dalits were treated as a vote bank by other parties. A grand memorial has been built in Mhow, where Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was born. In London, "Shiksha Bhoomi" marks the place where he studied, while "Diksha Bhoomi" in Nagpur, "Mahaparinirvana Bhoomi" in Delhi, and "Chaitya Bhoomi" in Mumbai honor his legacy. The BJP government under Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee made Shri Baliyogi the first Dalit Speaker of the Lok Sabha. In the Modi cabinet, there are 10 Dalit ministers, 27 OBC ministers, and 5 Adivasi ministers. The BJP has successfully integrated Dalits into the mainstream of society and governance.
Hon’ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 1 crore 77 lakh homes were provided to Dalit families. He further emphasized that Dalits have been major beneficiaries of central schemes like Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Shri Nadda expressed satisfaction at the enthusiastic public participation in the BJP’s membership drive and urged everyone to spread the message. He called the karyakartas to take a pledge that no person from this region is left out from joining the BJP.
