Salient points of speech of Hon'ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda while addressing Booth Karyakarta Sammelan in Belagavi, Karnataka

Under the splendid leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the BJP-led NDA government will be formed with the blessings of the people with an overwhelming majority. NDA will win all the Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka. Fir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar.

***********************

If anything is being given for free in the Congress government of Karnataka, it is terrorism. Slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad' are being raised in celebration of the victory of the Congress MP. Congress Chief Minister is silent, Deputy CM is silent, Rahul Gandhi is silent, Congress National President is silent. Why?

***********************

The people of Karnataka want to know the answer to this question whether Congress has come to the government to speak the language of Pakistan? Kharge ji, why are you silent? Have you come here to help Pakistan?

***********************

Rahul Gandhi had recently come on the so-called Bharat Jodo Yatra. Now slogans of Pakistan Zindabad are being raised in the Congress government. Rahul Gandhi, are you uniting India like this? The FSL report has come but concrete action has not been taken against the culprits yet. Why?

***********************

There was peace in Karnataka during our government, today bomb blasts are taking place in the cafe. The Siddaramaiah government was soft on terrorism and withdrew the cases against PFI people but Shri Narendra Modi government worked to ban PFI.

***********************

Congress had denied the existence of Lord Shri Ram and had boycotted the Ramlala's life consecration event and opening of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Siddaramaiah government imposed 10% tax on the income of temples. The Karnataka government has put a kar sevak in jail. In the coming elections, the public will teach them a strong lesson in a democratic manner.

***********************

Today the people of Karnataka have come to know that their elected government is betraying Karnataka. The Congress government of Karnataka is serving its own interests by robbing the public of their interests.

***********************

Today, On an average, two new colleges open every day, one new university opens every week, at least 37 new startups are started every day, transactions worth Rs 16 thousand crore are made through UPI and three Jan Aushadhi Centers are opened in the country.

***********************

On an average, 14 km of new railway tracks are being laid every day in the country, 30 km of new roads are being built, 50 thousand Ujjwala gas connections are being distributed and 75 thousand people are coming out of the poverty line. In the last 10 years, 25 crore people have come out of the poverty line. This is the picture of changing India.

***********************

This is the respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, on the strength of whose strong will, Article 370 was abolished, Ram Lalla was consecrated in Ayodhya, Triple Talaq was abolished and surgical strikes and air strikes were carried out on terrorism.

***********************

Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji talked about GYAN, in which G means Garib (poor), Y means Yuva (youth), A means Annadata (farmers) and N means Nari Shakti (women power), that is, the country can flourish only with the upliftment of poor, youth, farmers and women power.

***********************

The Modi government allocated around ₹5.41 lakh crores for Karnataka's development and nearly ₹1 lakh crores for the welfare of poor and women. Per capita income in Karnataka was increased by up to ₹69,621 annually over the past decade.

Hon’ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed the Booth Samavesh Sammelan in Belagavi, Karnataka on Tuesday. During the event, Karnataka BJP President Shri BY Vijayendra, BJP Karnataka In-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Radha Mohan Das Agrawal, Chikkodi Lok Sabha MP Shri Anna Saheb Jolle were present on stage. Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted the state's rich cultural heritage and its embrace of technology for future progress. He praised BJP karyakartas for their tireless efforts in uniting and empowering the party, contrasting BJP's steadfast ideology with other parties' shifts. Shri Nadda emphasized PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership in fulfilling promises like the Ram Mandir construction and the Triple Talaq Bill. Shri Nadda outlined BJP's extensive organizational presence and lauded Shri Narendra Modi's vision for a self-reliant India, contrasting it with past leadership and Congress' perceived corruption. Shri Nadda expressed concern over rising incidents of terrorism and provocative slogans in Karnataka, questioning the silence of Congress leaders and urging accountability.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda initiated his address by expressing gratitude for receiving the opportunity to visit the sacred land of Rani Chennamma and Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna. Shri Nadda asserted that when one talks about Karnataka or discusses Kannada and Kannadiga, it brings to mind that the land is steeped in culture and heritage. Shri Nadda acknowledged that the traditions and heritage of the region, which have been inherited by all, are truly enriching. Additionally, Shri Nadda noted that Karnataka is also looking towards the future, embracing technology and innovation to shape its future.

Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda commended BJP karyakartas for strengthening the party's ranks and their responsibilities on the ground level. They work tirelessly on the ground, empowering the party, and also make efforts even to unite those who oppose the ideology. Shri Nadda conveyed that all BJP workers are fortunate as being associated with BJP, known as the world's largest political party, is considered a privilege. The BJP is a political party that is ideological-based, and its ideology has always remained steadfast. While other political parties post-independence operated under the names of socialism and communism but eventually adopted capitalist ideologies. Only the BJP, formerly known as the JanSangh, has consistently upheld its principles, as articulated in 1951-52 when it stated that a country cannot have two symbols, two constitutions, and two heads of government. This was demonstrated in 2020 when it abrogated Article 370, showing its commitment to its principles. In 1996-97, the BJP had affirmed that they would facilitate the construction of the Ram Mandir. On January 22, 2024, through the efforts of Shri Narendra Modi, the consecration of Ram Lalla took place, and the BJP fulfilled another promise under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda affirmed that the BJP, guided by the principles of ‘Antyodaya’ and 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas,' has successfully united the nation. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's dedication to the betterment of GYAN (Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata, and Nari Shakti), has directed the nation towards progress. This unwavering vision, maintained from 1951-2024, reflects the party's dedication. Shri Nadda emphasized that the BJP stands out as the sole political party genuinely concerned about the welfare of Muslim women. He credited the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the abolition of the Triple Talaq Bill. In contrast, Shri Nadda criticized the Congress, asserting that the party had never taken proactive measures for the betterment of Muslim women and instead engaged in appeasement politics.

BJP National President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda underscored that the BJP holds the distinction of being the world's largest political party, boasting committees in 973 districts and 1532 blocks, along with booth committees spanning almost 8 lakh booths. Shri Nadda emphasized the party's significant representation with 303 Members of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, including notable figures like Shri Annasaheb Jolle, and 92 Members of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha. Shri Nadda also highlighted the extensive presence of the BJP with over 1500 Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), including Smt Shashikala Jolle, and the leadership of more than 293 Mayors in Municipal Corporations, showcasing the formidable strength of the BJP.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi serves as a profound source of inspiration for the nation and its youth, promoting the guiding principle of 'Atma Nirbhar Bharat' to foster self-reliance and independence. Shri Nadda pointed out instances where past leaders, speaking from the Red Fort, labeled the people of India as lazy and less intelligent compared to others, neglecting the country's inherent confidence and strength. In contrast, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, from the same historic platform, instilled confidence and called upon the people to participate in the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp,' emphasizing collective commitment to the development of India.  Shri Nadda highlighted that the Congress has become synonymous with corruption, commission, nepotism, and dynastic politics. He noted that a decade ago, India was perceived as a nation experiencing policy paralysis, plagued by corruption, and struggling to make decisions for its progress, lacking self-confidence. However, since 2014, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the narrative has shifted. India is now recognized as a self-confident nation making significant strides in development, offering a visionary perspective to the rest of the world.

BJP National President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda asserted that today's reality affirms the presence of development in the nation, aligning with the BJP's motto of "Reform, Transform, and Perform." Shri Nadda highlighted significant achievements, including the daily opening of two new colleges and one university every week. He pointed out the establishment of nearly 40 startups daily, transactions worth almost ₹16,000 crore through UPI each day, the opening of three Jan Aushadhi Kendras, the construction of 14 kilometers of railway track and 29 kilometers of road daily. Shri Nadda mentioned the distribution of 50,000 gas connections daily through the Ujjwala Yojna, the daily elevation of 75,000 individuals from the poverty line, and a total of 25 crore people lifted above the poverty line. Notably, almost 60,000 households are gaining access to tap water daily, indicative of the transformative journey of India.

Shri JP Nadda pointed out that the intention is not solely to criticize the Congress party but also to acknowledge the commendable work done by the BJP government. When the BJP mentions the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, stating that 80 crore poor people have received free food grains, it is inclusive of the 4 crore impoverished individuals from Karnataka who have benefited from the scheme. This collective effort has contributed to lifting 25 crore people above the poverty line.

BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Naddaa noted that 53 lakh farmers from Karnataka out of 11 crore 78 lakh farmers nationwide, receive ₹2000 directly into their accounts every fourth month, and Bharatiya Janata Party has also worked to make them self-reliant. In the Jal Jeevan Mission, approximately 11 crore people have been provided water through pipelines to their homes, with 51 lakh homes in Karnataka being connected to pipelines. Under the PM Awas Yojana, 4 crore houses have been built, out of which 9 lakh applications were sanctioned during the BJP's tenure. The previous government, under Siddaramaiah, attempted to stop it, but after Shri BS Yediyurappa took over, these services were fully delivered to the people.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda informed that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, arrangements have been made to provide coverage to 11 crore people to fight against serious illnesses, and BJP has also worked to include 62 lakh families from Karnataka. In terms of Karnataka's economy, the NDA government has provided 275% more financial assistance to the Karnataka government. According to statistics, the Central government has allocated a total of ₹5 crore 42 lakh 341 thousand crore for the development of Karnataka. Of this, ₹1 lakh crore have been spent in Karnataka solely for the benefit of the poor, marginalized sections of society, and women, to empower them. BJP has worked to increase Karnataka's per capita income by ₹69,621 annually over the span of 10 years.

Bharatiya Janata Party National President noted that ₹30,000 crore have been spent on railway track infrastructure, while ₹8,000 crore have been allocated for the Bangalore-Mysore expressway. A sum of over ₹15,000 crore has been expended for the suburban project. A new terminal has been inaugurated by Shri Narendra Modi at the Bangalore airport, a new airport has been built in Shivamogga, and a new terminal will also be constructed in Belagavi in the near future to further its development. In the smart city initiative, Sawangiri, Tumkuru, Hubli, and Shivamogga have all been integrated.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda urged all booth karyakartas to reach out to every voter, beneficiary, and section of society, to engage with people from all walks of life and strive to gain the trust of every segment. Shri Nadda emphasized the importance of ensuring that all the achievements of the government reach the people and demonstrating how Shri Narendra Modi has instilled a new confidence in the nation. Shri Nadda emphasized the empowerment of villages, the poor, marginalized, oppressed, Dalits, farmers, youth, and everyone, acknowledging how it has propelled the nation forward. The people of Karnataka must also be aware of how the government they elected is deceiving them and working towards fulfilling its own interests by exploiting theirs.

The BJP National President expressed concern, stating that in Karnataka, the only thing seemingly distributed is terrorism, with its encouragement and patronage. Shri Nadda emphasized the alarming situation where slogans like "Pakistan Zindabad" are being raised in the Vidhan Sabha, and the Chief Minister and Deputy-Chief Minister of the Congress-led state remain silent on such condemnable acts.  Shri Nadda pointed out that Karnataka is the home state of AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, and the MP would sit beside him whose victory prompted the raising of such slogans. Shri Nadda raised critical questions about the nature of Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra,' expressing concern over its effectiveness in uniting India. He pointed out that when an MP from their party wins, slogans of "Pakistan Zindabad" are raised, and senior leaders remain silent. Shri Nadda further questioned if these leaders are born to assist Pakistan and whether they can be seen as representatives of Pakistan.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted that despite the Private FSL report, the Karnataka government has not taken any action. He urged these leaders to realize that the people of Karnataka and 'Bharat Mata' will not forget their actions.  Shri Nadda emphasized that when Mallikarjun Kharge visits the state, people should question him about the party he represents. He highlighted the concern that leaders from that party raised slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad' when their MP achieved victory. Shri Nadda mentioned that during the BJP government's tenure in Karnataka, the state experienced peace. However, when the Congress government took over, bomb blasts began occurring.  Shri Nadda criticized Siddaramaiah's government for being lenient on terrorism and dropping cases against PFA members. Shri Nadda noted that, in contrast, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took a firm stance against terrorism and worked towards banning PFI, showing zero tolerance towards such activities.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda stated that Rahul Gandhi isn't on a 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' but rather on a 'Bharat Todo Yatra'.  He accused Rahul Gandhi of supporting those who raised anti-national slogans in JNU. Shri Nadda also mentioned Congress denying the existence of Shri Ram and avoiding 'Pran Pratishta' ceremony. He criticized the Karnataka government for filing a case against a 31-year-old devotee and imposing a 10% tax on temple income. Shri Nadda suggested that Congress was using Karnataka as an ATM and practicing appeasement politics. The people of Karnataka will respond to these issues in the upcoming elections.

BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda criticized the Karnataka government for not increasing the salaries of government or contractual employees, suggesting that this reflects the corruption within the Congress-led government. He characterized the Congress party as one centered around family and appeasement, asserting that the INDI Alliance is an amalgamation of family and corruption. Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda claimed that leaders across the country, including Mehbooba Mufti, Akhilesh Yadav, MK Stalin, Sukhbir Singh Badal, Mamata Banerjee, KCR, Sharad Pawar, and Uddhav Thackeray, engage in dynastic politics. He pointed out that leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Farooq Abdullah, Tejashwi Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, and Mamata Banerjee face allegations of scams and corruption. Shri Nadda highlighted that a key figure instrumental in building opposition unity has now switched allegiance and joined the BJP.

Shri JP Nadda expressed the immense fortune of BJP karyakartas in having the world's most popular leader, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In concluding remarks, he urged every party karyakarta to put in their best efforts at every booth in Karnataka, aiming to see the lotus bloom and secure victory for the BJP. Shri Nadda emphasized that this victory would serve as a fitting response to the Congress, contributing to the strengthening of democracy. Under the esteemed leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he expressed confidence that the party would surpass 400 seats, demonstrating their determination and resolve.
