Bharatiya Janata Party President Shri Rajnath Singh has said Bangladesh has become an epicenter of terrorism in the recent past. "Nearly 200 terrorist camps are running in Bangladesh with active backing from the ISI," he demanded dismantling of Bangladeshi terrorist modules. Shri Singh urged the Prime Minister that he should work to form a world opinion against the ISI and its activities.
Launching a scathing attack on the ISI Shri Singh said the ISI was a serious threat to peace in the region and a bigger threat to security in Asia and the world. He also alleged the ISI had prior information of terror attack on the World Trade Centre in New York.
He demanded the Government of India to build pressure on the global community to bring the ISI activities under the international scanner permanently. He also blamed Pakistan for its role in promoting terrorism and called it a "terrorist hub".
Taking the UPA Government to task Shri Rajnath Singh said it had been a big failure on all fronts in the last two years. On the economic front the performance of UPA Government had been lackluster and spiraling prices of all essential commodities was credible evidence to it, said Shri Singh.
BJP President said the Congress was fast losing its ground ever since it came to power at the Centre. It lost power in many States like Jharkhand, Karnataka and even Bihar where it was supporting the ruling RJD coalition.
He said Bharat Suraksha Yatra had received an overwhelming response in all the States and it was a clear indication that not only BJP but the people of the country were also concerned about the issues raised by the party.
