Shri Rajnath Singh on Sarabjit Singh death in Pakistan
Press statement of BJP National President Shri Rajnath Singh
Describing the assassination of Sarabjeet singh a well planned conspiracy, BJP national President Shri Rajnath Singh said, “for the time being Indian high commissioner to Pakistan should be called back.”
Shri Rajnath Singh said today “considering the anti india activities being carried out in Pakistan, Indian govt should build international pressure and take appropriate measures accordingly. Describing the Sarabjeet Singh death a diplomatic failure he said, “unless Pakistan stops terrorist activities from its soil, diplomatic relations with Pakistan should be scaled down.
Shri Singh said, “Had the government taken a tough stance and registered its protest when two beheaded bodies of Indian soldiers were found at LOC, this incident would not have happened.
He said, “even at that time BJP had demanded to call back the Indian high commissioner but the govt did not give heed to our advise. Govt should take some diplomatic measure to build pressure on Pakistan so that safety of other Indian prisoners can be ensured.
“The government is miserably failed to provide any solution to matters of national interest and making weak statements to hide their diplomatic failure. He demanded that Sarabjit’s family must be given extensive support, compensation and help.
