Over 30 Youth from different sections & spheres of society attained the membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Today at the BJP Headquarters in Delhi. BJP National General Secretary Shri Arun Singh & National Media Incharge Shri Anil Baluni, MP welcomed the New Young Members by presenting them with the BJP Stoles. The Program was initiated by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha National President Poonam Mahajan, MP.

Welcoming the Youth, Poonam Mahajan said that it is heartening to see that people from different spheres & sections of society are willingly joining the party idolising Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. BJYM will reach out to the 60% young population in the country and motivate them to join the BJP.

Raees Ahmad Bhat from Jammu & Kashmir joined the party. Raees is the elder brother of Late Gowhar Ahmad Bhat who was District President of BJYM Shopian. His throat was slit & was martyred for being associated with BJP.

29 Year old Special Girl Disha Maru also joined the BJP. Disha has Down syndrome and is the inspiration behind Swami Brahmanand Pratishthan, a center for people with special needs in Mumbai. She has won 2 bronze medals in Swimming in Asia Pacific  special Olympic Games 2013, in Australia and 1 silver medal at special Olympics world summer games at Los Angeles, USA. She has also won a National Award in dancing in 2000.

Arjun Awardee Judo Player Yashpal Solanki, International Basket ball Player Yogesh Kadaria, National Hockey Player Sumeet Shukla among others also joined the party.

Several other youth joined hands with the BJP. Family Members of BJP activists who were killed during the violence in Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal & Kerala by Communist &TMC Cadres also joined the party.
