Bharatiya Janata Party has set up a panel of three Members of Parliament to enquire into and report about the recent incident of the brutal murder of a Dalit labourer Jagmail Singh, at village Chandliwala in District Sangarur. This three-Member committee comprises of Party Vice President and Rajya Sabha Member Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, ex-Minister and MP from Baghpat Dr Satyapal Singh and Lok Sabha Member from Jharkhand Shri V D Ram. Both Dr Satyapal Singh and V D Ram are former senior police officials.

 

This committee will be visiting the village Chandliwala in Sangarur on Saturday, 23rd November, meet with the family of Late Jagmail Singh who was subjected to unspeakable atrocities leading to his murder, community leaders and other villagers as well as Govt officials.  The committee, apart from other issues; will also look into the serious allegations of apathy on the part of the Govt officials and State Police in extending quick medical assistance to the deceased and incorporating section 302 in the FIR against the culprits of this heinous crime.

 

The Committee will be submitting its report to the Party leadership after its visit.
