.Today on 27 January 2022, National President of Bhartiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha Vanathi Srinivasan addressed press conference on the issue of the death of a minor Girl Lavanya in Tamil Nadu at the BJP Headquarters, in which she spoke about Lavanya's death and torture of conversion of her religion. Furthermore she emphasized on state government's role to suppress the incident in front of the media. She assured to put forward the demand of CBI enquiry to Tamil Nadu Government by BJP Tamil Nadu team. She asked Tamil Nadu government to give government job to Lavanya's family and also demanded to bring anti-conversion law in the state.

Vanathi Srinivasan told that BJP National President J.P. Nadda has formed a four-member team consisting of Mrs. Sandhya Rai (MP), Mrs. Vijayashanti, Mrs. Chitra Tai Wagh, Mrs. Geetha Vivekananda, to meet victim's family and report .Vanathi Srinivasan also questioned the silence of other opposition parties including Congress on this issue.
