The National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shri Arun Singh addressed a press conference held at the party headquarters today and discussed the mass public outreach programme undertaken by the party during Covid-19 crisis. In this context, all the state units of the party will give a presentation to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi through video conferencing on 04 July 2020 i.e. tomorrow at 04:00 pm and get further guidance from him, he said. Shri Singh first paid tribute to martyred 8 policemen in Uttar Pradesh and told the journalists that no culprits will be spared.

 

PM Garib Kalyan Yojana- free ration for 8 months

 

Addressing the press conference, Shri Singh said that Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has led the Country effectively during COVID19 crisis time. Due to his timely interventions & cooperation from all sectors of society the pandemic has been less lethal in our country & virus spread is largely contained. A country of 130 Cr population has managed the crisis well. Hon'ble PM Sri Narendra Modi understands the sufferings of poor first hand. Within days of announcing lock down Govt. came out with a detailed PM Gareeb Kalyan Yojana with free ration to 80 Cr people & DBT to 36 Cr accounts. Both these measures mitigated the suffering of poor persons in a big way. Now Hon'ble PM has announced another big relief in the form of free ration of 5kg grains per person & 1kg Chana per family per month for 80 Cr people for next 5 months. This will be a big relief to the poor people during monsoon & festival seasons.  This scheme will provide free ration for next 5 months i.e. from July to November. This move of Union Govt. is of the size Rs. 90,000 Cr. Together with the earlier PM Annapurna Yojana is worth Rs. 1.5L Cr. BJP thanks the Hon'ble PM for this compassionate measure which will go a long way in easing out the burden of poor people.

Shri Singh said that BJP has undertaken a mass public outreach programme for a month now on the occasion of First year completion of Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi ji's Second term. We planned virtual rallies, Video Conferences, sector wise "Aatmanirbhar Bharata" dialogues, Press Conferences, House contact programmes & distribution of sanitisers  & face covers. Virtual rallies have been a new addition to the political discourse in our country. BJP has used it successfully to reach out to the public in every nook & corner of the country.

Shri Singh said that more than 35L karyakartas have participated in this mega outreach programme. We could feel the goodwill Hon'ble PM commands for his firm handling of COVID19 crisis & his clarion call for Aatmanibharbharatha i.e. Go Vocal for local. Lakhs of people at the end of virtual programmes were administered the pledge of using Local products & following safety measures to keep CoronaVirus away.

 

SEVA HI SANGATHAN: Presentation of service activities undertaken during lockdown period by Hon'ble PM Sri Narendra Modi

 

Under the watchful eyes of Hon'ble PM Sri Narendra Modi & monitoring by Hon'ble National President Shri Jagat Prakash Naddaji lakhs of BJP karyakarta across the length & breath of the country reached Crores of poor people, migrant labourers, daily wage karyakartas etc. & lent a helping hand. BJP karyakartas distributed food packets, ration kits, face covers,motivated people to donate to PMCARES, attended migrant labourers who were on foot & travelling through trains & buses. Also, the Party effectively used Video & Audio tools to connect with karyakartas & society. BJP karyakartas assisted security personnel, helped in Screening, managing crowd at various locations & also took care of animals which were in need of food. The Hon'ble Prime Minister was guiding every step of these activities. His keen observation & timely interventions smoothened many rough edges in our activity.

 

Following the rules of social distancing, face cover and various other rules, crores of party karyakartas are working day and night to serve the people during the Covid-19 crisis. All the BJP state units will give a presentation on ‘SEVA HI SANGATHAN' abhiyan to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi through video conferencing on 04 July 2020 i.e. tomorrow at 04:00 pm and get further guidance from him.
