Press Release : BJP National President Shri J.P. Nadda launched a week long Swachhata Drive on the occasion of "Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lala" at Guru Ravidas Mandir, Karol Bagh (New Delhi)

 

LAUNCH OF THE NATIONWIDE SWACHHATA ABHIYAN BY THE BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI TODAY AT THE GURU RAVIDAS MANDIR IN DELHI TODAY INITIATED ON THE SPECIAL REQUEST OF HONOURABLE PRIME MINISTER SHRI NARENDRA MODI JI TO CELEBRATE THE PRAN PRATISTHA CEREMONY OF RAMLALA IN AYODHYA ON JANUARY 22

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today launched the nationwide Swachchta Abhiyan from Guru Ravidas Mandir in Karol Bagh in Delhi where he offered "shramdaan". This special nine- day  cleanliness drive has been launched on the initiative of the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to celebrate the "Pran Pratistha" of Ram-Lala in Ayodhya on January 22.

 

On reaching the Ravidas Mandir, the BJP President offered prayers and then took part in the cleanliness drive in the temple premises. He also met the members of the Valmiki community and took part in the prayers and kirtan in the temple. Several senior BJP leaders were present on the occasion which include BJP National General Secretary Shri Dushyant Gautam, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP National Media Head Shri Anil Baluni, and the BJP Delhi unit President Shri Virendra Sachdeva.

 

 Speaking on the occasion, Shri Nadda said on January 22 there is a massive "Pran Pratistha" ceremony of Shri Ramlala in Ayodhya ji. It is a matter of great pride and fortune for all the people of our country. Before the "Pran Pratistha" ceremony of Shri Ramlala, our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has appealed to the people across the country to carry out special cleanliness drives from January 14 to 22 at all the religious places, our places of pilgrimage and temples.

 

On his clarion call, the Bharatiya Janata Party has also decided to organise special cleanliness drives across the country from January 14 to 22, and its formal beginning is being done from the Ravidas Mandir in Delhi.

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President said I consider myself very fortunate that today I came to the Ravidas Mandir and offered "shramdaan" along with my party colleagues and workers. Cleanliness was Mahatma Gandhi Ji's dream. Till the "Pran Pratistha" of Ramlala the Bharatiya Janata Party MPs, MLAs, all people's representatives, party functionaries and workers will do "shramdaan" in temples and religious places in various states.

 

Shri Nadda said on January 22 "deepotsav" will be celebrated across the world. Every house, every temple, every establishment will be lighted by lamps and morning marches will also be taken out. Bhajans and kirtans will be organised across the country while several other religious programmes and rituals will take place across the country.

 

Till the "Pran Pratistha" of Ramlala is done and the grand Ram Mandir is inaugurated in Ayodhya, we all have to light "Ram Jyoti" in our houses. And when the abode of Prabhu Shri Ram is formally inaugurated, we all have to celebrate Diwali.
