BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI TODAY VISITED 'VANDE MATARAM BHAWAN' , THE WORK PLACE OF GREAT INDIAN POET AND LITTERATEUR HONOURABLE SHRI BANKIM CHANDRA CHATTOPADHAYAY AND PAID HIM RICH TRIBUTES

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today visited 'Vande Mataram Bhawan', the work place of great Indian litterateur and famous author of our national song 'Vande Mataram' . He paid floral tributes at ' Vande Matram Bhawan' in Hooghly in West Bengal .

 

Remembering Honourable Bankim Babu , Shri Nadda said it is at this place the great Indian poet had written the immortal poem 'Vande Mataram' which inspired our freedom fighters and is now motivating us. Vande Matram will continue to inspire our generations to come .

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party President yesterday started his three day visit to West Bengal . Today he will address the BJP West Bengal unit Executive . Tomorrow also Shri Nadda will take part in various organisational works .

 

After offering his rich tributes to Bankim Babu , the Bharatiya Janata Party National President addressed the media and said through his extraordinary and immortal creation ' Vande Matram ', the great son of India not only gave our freedom struggle a new lease of life , it also enriched Indian literature . Honourable Bankim Babu not only gave new vision to West Bengal , he also gave new direction to our freedom struggle and inspired all Indians .

 

Shri Nadda said 'Vande Matram ' is not merely a slogan or song , it portrays our great freedom struggle, it is a feeling deep inside our hearts which will never die . We should all take inspiration and guidance from this immortal freedom song of Honourable Bankim Babu and pledge to make India a prosperous , equal , developed and just country . We will also strive to make Indian society a society where people from all religions and sects leave together with peace , harmony and happiness .

 

Shri Nadda said it is a great honour for me to visit the work place of Honourable Bankim Babu and I feel so overwhelmed in paying my tributes to the great poet . Honourable Bankim Babu spent five years of his life in 'Vande Mataram Bhawan' and gave to the world one of the finest creations of literature . His works , his poetry , novels and books are today keeping the Bengal's literary heritage and traditions alive .

 

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President further said I feel elated , lucky and honoured to have visited ' Vande Matram Bhawan' . This place has introduced me to the great Bengali literature and culture which our Honourable Bankim Babu used to live . My visit to 'Vande Mataram Bhawan' has enthused me and given me motivation and inspiration to rededicate and recommit myself in the service of my motherland ' Maa Bharti ' and to work for my Bharatiya Janata Party.  This visit has also inspired me to work together with nationalist forces and to work for the welfare of the society and development of my country.

 

We all take inspiration from the life of Honourable Bankim Babu to give our life in the service of our nation like he did. Taking inspiration and motivation from the life of Honourable Bankim Babu we all the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party will strive hard to make India a happy , peaceful and prosperous nation .
